Catastrophe was not far behind especially when it involves two members of Fairy Tail, namely Gray and Juvia as their encounter with one of the dark guild's members seemed to have led them to trouble as the one named Romina has ambushed them and is now toying with them as though this whole thing is a game to her. In fact, given her personality of being an aloof girl, Romina has no sense of understanding nor a serious thought about the situation, an opposite contrast to Juvia's personality, which pretty much bothers the heck out of Juvia. The onslaught of piranha creatures conjured by Romina had be averted by both Gray and Juvia only for them to face a bigger challenge as a whale like creature forms and hover over them until it gathered enough water mass to come crashing down on them. Gray had tried to shield them both with his ice made shield but the effort proved futile as it breaks and crumble.
In desperation, Gray had instructed Juvia to leave his side in his attempt to sacrifice himself for her sake. However, Juvia's refusal had stumped Gray to the point of shock as he gaze at her with worried eyes as the words left her mouth. "What are you saying? Even if that is true, the impact is still too strong for you to withstand it," remarked Gray with a mix of anger and anxiety in his tone. "The one who should stay behind is me, not you...." exclaimed Gray franticly until he was interrupted by the sight of Juvia stepping closer to him. Before Gray could say anything, he felt a slight push from Juvia as his body is flung out of the range of the giant whale's shadow. "Ju...via..." muttered Gray softly as he lands on the grass only for him to witness Juvia launch a water spear at what remains of his shield which caused the whale creature to complete crash on top of Juvia as a huge splash of pressurized water could be seen even from a distance. The impact and the tide of the splashing water swept Gray to the side a a little farther until the wave subsides leaving a drenched Gray on his knees, coughing and sputtering for a few moments.
Gray lifted his bowed head and all he could see is a huge puddle of water where Juvia had been but no Juvia in sight. The sight made Gray's lips quiver in fear as memories of his past began to swirl in his mind, particularly a vision of his beloved master, Ur protecting him with a forbidden spell that costs Ur her life. Suddenly, Gray let out a fury of punches at the ground as tears trickle down his cheeks. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Why go through all that trouble for me? Why risk your life for me?" exclaimed Gray in disappointment of himself as he let out a wail of sorrow. His pounding of the ground then stopped as he turned his head back, so that his sight is fixed on Romina. Romina at this point was staring at the whole situation silently only for her to clap her hands in glee. "Ahahaha! Romina's whale bomb hit it's mark! Romina wanted to hit two but one out of two isn't bad! Now game is at a higher level!" squealed Romina in glee as she cheers at the sad spectacle.
This response to the tragedy at hand had made Gray grit his teeth in anger as he pounds the ground hard one last time in his fit of rage. With that, he rose to his feet and gave Romina an angry stare. This action made Romina cringe a little a she felt the rage emanating from Gray as he place his fist on his extended palm. "I was only to going to beat you down but now I'm going to take you down for good!" exclaimed Gray with a serious tone as a blue magic circle began to form around his hands. "Ice Make: Lance!" announced Gray as long sharp ice spears began to dart towards Romina with great speed. In response, Romina just stood there with a blank stare as the ice lances hit their mark, piercing through Romina only for it to be in vain as it turns out that all they have pierced was only a water clone of Romina. the clone was frozen by the spears and crumble to pieces in response. The real Romina appeared behind Gray as she used a portion of water to surf her way towards Gray. before Gray could turn to face her, Romina launched a ball of pressurized water at Gray, hitting him from behind with an impact that felt like a cannon ball as Gray was flung forward by the blast and is seen tumbling on the ground. Ignoring the pain, Gray got to his feet as quickly as he can and placed his hands in attacking position. "Ice Make: Saucer!" announced Gray as a sharp flying disc made out of ice flew out of the blue magic circle and launch itself at Romina who immediately dodged it but not without getting a cut on her left shoulder.
Despite receiving a wound, there was still a smile on Romina's face that caused Gray much more anger as he tries to conjure another weapon against her only for him to realize that he is surrounded by sharp water blobs as they expand and grow as though they could explode at any moment. If Gray were to freeze them, the pressure would cause them to explode with much worst results as they could be ice spikes that will be hurled at Gray instead of water ones. Gray's realization that he would be too late to stop them from detonating caused him grieve as he realize that his anger has made him reckless to the point of falling to the enemy's trap. "I'm such a fool. I'm sorry Juvia," muttered Gray sadly as the blobs appear to have reached their bursting point.
At this point of time, the gauntlet wielder named Jason has engaged a member of the dark guild Dying Breed, known only as Eiko in what appears to be an amazing battle of skill and wit. However, such feats were abruptly halted at the sight of Jason falling face first onto the grassy ground in his unconventional attempt to disarm Eiko using his feet with aid from a back flip. The unpredictable action had impressed a blind Eiko to the point of admiration in which her smile is prove of such emotion. "Don't flatter yourself. Making me smile should not be an achievement for you. Your achievement should come after you bested me in battle," responded Eiko with a red blush on her cheeks as she allow Jason to rise to his feet as she equips herself once more with her magic spear dubbed Tiberone.
Her gaze now serious as she listens intently to Jason's rant about how good he is as well as felt the motion of him taking off his top shirt in his bid to display a serious side of him. Even though Eiko couldn't see his eyes but she could feel the intensity from them as she remains poised in battle as her spear is gripped tightly in her right hand. "So, you're ready to get serious. Now that's what I desired in a fight. It's pleasure....no...my honour and pride to face an opponent such as yourself," responded Eiko with a confident tone as she heard Jason reequipping his best gauntlets. The sound of wings extending themselves rang through Eiko's ears, hinting to her that his next attack would be a flying based strike.
Eiko then heard Jason announce that he was going to attack first and that set motion a spectacle that no normal human would anticipate. Without warning, Jason launched himself towards Eiko, his body as though floating above the ground as his claws inched closer to Eiko's face. The attack would have hit its mark had not for Eiko's sensitive sense of sound which enabled her to predict his next movement as well as sense the sound of muscle movement. This is proven when Jason thought his claws would have sink itself into her face but all his claw ever caught a whiff off is nothing but air as Eiko is now seen crouching on the ground while positioning the sharp end of the spear near her hand so that it functions like a short sword as she lunge it towards Jason's neck in her bid to deal a fatal blow.
What turned out to be a three on one situation has escalated into a three on two scenario as Theodore makes his way in the scene as he rescues the gauntlet wielding Asuka from harms way as his earth wall makes for a great defense against all three attacks initiated by the team of Taura, Celine and Devi. Proclaiming his right to challenge them, Theodore's presence comes as a shock to them as he readies his weapon in his bid to battle any one of the girls while Asuka is given the privilege to take on the remainder of the three. However, before Theodore could proceed, he sensed hesitation in Celine's tone as well as concern in the eyes of Taura. The only one that lacks such emotion would be the carefree Devi as his presence comes as no surprise to her. Still, Theodore's heart felt like it could break in two in response to Devi's remark that he didn't need their help. Somewhere deep down, Theodore had longed for friends but due to the circumstances surrounding the mystery of his past, he had lost that right.
"I do need your help. Just not in a way you would expect it," responded Theodore with a calm tone as his emotionless gaze is fixed on the girls. "As you may know, I sought justice. A kind of justice that will end all evil. However, such justice cannot be achieved by having a stronger guild or a strong bond. The stronger the guild, then a power struggle will occur and the stronger the bond, the easier for it to end in betrayal. It must be from a greater power that true justice can be achieved," explained Theodore with an emotionless tone as his explanation felt as though that he wanted them to fight. "Your assistance is still greatly required as the goal to true justice has yet to reach its climax. So, fight on Fairy Tail. Show me your determination," remarked Theodore as he stare at them with a mix of somewhat sadness and determination in his eyes.
Theodore then caught sight of them arguing on the decision to challenge him. Sensing that the hesitation had not subside between them, especially Taura and Celine, Theodore decided with a heavy heart to provoke them into action. With that, Theodore reach into his pocket and took out a blood stained piece of clothing that once belonged to Rein as she had tended to his wounds earlier during that fiasco with the train. "If you do not fight, then your dear friend, Rein's sacrifice will be for nothing. She had fought with all she had but still she met with her demise at my hands," noted Theodore as he lies about the fact that he killed Rein while displaying the blood stained cloth in front of Taura, Celine and Devi. "I advice that you equip yourself with your best weapon for we will be faced with a great challenge," suggested Theodore as he gave instructions to Asuka.
Asuka sighed at Theodore's instructions as though she didn't like to use her best weapon. "Do I have to? That thing is difficult to control. If possible, I wouldn't want to use it," quipped Asuka with an annoyed tone only for her to change her tone the moment she saw the intensity and seriousness in Theodore's eyes. Breathing out loudly, Asuka began to close her eyes as her gauntlets began to glow brightly. "The demon's blood course through thy veins in anticipation of the fiery judgment that is bestowed upon those who doubt the demon's power. Come forth fire and brimstone! Re-quip! Gilgamesh!" exclaimed Asuka as her gauntlets burn with crimson flames that intensify only to reveal a new set of gauntlets that extend all the way to her shoulders decked with ancient symbols and two sharp buzz saw like plates on each shoulder guard. The gauntlet then lit up with a bright red color in anticipation towards any attack that Taura, Celine and Devi might attempt.
Facing dangerous odds, Nathan decided to fight despite the fact that he and Evalina are face to face with a gigantic demon that the white haired girl has summoned in order to eradicate when her earlier attempts had met with failure. This enrages the girl to summon the powerful demon lord to her aid which scraps Nathan and Evalina's plans to stop her from performing a summon as she proved to be able to do so without drawing a summoning circle but instead summoned with aid from an ancient incantation. The Demon Lord had already blown away Evalina's water beast proving that it is not something to be messed with. However, this does not discourage Nathan from summoning another creature to his aid as he retires his cheetah summoning and is seen chanting only in time to summon an amalgam of an unicorn and a pegasus known only as the mystic alicorn as it's majestic bat like wings and mysterious black coat and mane gleamed in all its glory. The mystic beast took no delay in saving Nathan and Evalina as it whisked them away from the Demon Lord's smash that created a huge crater where they used to stand, indicating it's powerful brute strength.
The summoning of the alicorn had caught the white haired girl's eye as she stare at it with sad eyes. "You really are lucky. You're lucky enough to have an alicorn while I'm stuck with it's counterpart," remarked the girl with a sad tone as she raise her hand towards the sky. "Fire and runes, come together to open the path for one's true despair. Come forth, Nightmare!" exclaimed the white haired girl as a summoning circle made out of fire began to above her as a black horse with fire as its mane and tail emerged from the circle while being engulfed in flames. The beast then leap out of the circle and is seen covered in flames as it dashes towards the bright magic blast that Nathan's alicorn fired earlier, it's body like a fireball impacting against the bright blast, preventing it from reaching either the Demon Lord nor the white haired girl. Once the blast had been neutralized, the fiery horse jumped back and is seen floating in mid air as it whinnied furiously in anticipating to do battle.
At this point, Evalina is formulating a plan to help them turn the dire situation around by summoning a beast of her own. A beast of water that has the appearance of a mixture between a fox and a serpent. Alighting herself from Nathan's alicorn by swinging down to the ground with the aid of her whip, she proceeded to command her beast to attack the Demon Lord's legs. However, while she attempts such a feat, red magic circles began to form in form of the Demon Lord. "Hell's Inferno," announced the white haired girl as the Demon Lord heeded her words and proceeded to launch multiple fireballs at both Evalina and Nathan before either could strike.
The showdown between Lucid and the archer girl, Michiko appears to have reached a breath taking climax as both stare at each other with great intensity as Michiko has her pressured imbued arrow aimed at Lucid who appears to be on the defensive as the ribbon in his hand proves to be as such. Michiko remained poised to strike him as she listens intently to his words. "We've been at odds end ever since you got on the train. This is a battlefield where one stands and the other falls. That's all there is to it. You may have strong bonds with your friends but in battle those bonds are severed by death," responded Michiko with a serious tone as she draws the string back even further in her bid to increase the impact.
Within moments, the sight of the arrow dashing towards Lucid is all there is as it darts towards him with all its might. In that split moment, Lucid manages to muster enough strength to conjure a thick bunch of ribbons that function as a shield which took the strong impact head on. The sound of ripping cloth could be heard as a bright flash emits from the impact where the once hardened ribbon defense is ripped apart by the force. However, the ribbon had served its purpose as it had absorb enough of the impact to allow Lucid to evade the incoming arrow that whiz pass him at that moment. Although he had escaped being blown to smithereens, Lucid is still not out of trouble yet as a blur zoomed pass him only for Michiko to appear above him as another arrow is readied by her bow to launch another attack at him. "This is the end for you," remarked Michiko with a cold tone as she release the arrow and watch as it darts towards Lucid, the arrow emitting a burning aura around it as it went.
Meanwhile, rubble and grim is seen strewn about in another part of the forest as Lucy, Vivi and company are faced with a hair mage as her hair magic has conjured a massive dragon that proved to be huge problem for them to handle as it stomps it's massive feet that created a wave of destruction as the shock delivers a trail of rocks, stones, dirt and grim at Lucy, Vivi, and the rest. The debris narrowly misses Vivi as she avoids it's oncoming approach while Lucy has to come up with a counterproductive measure to escape the wave by retracting her whip from the dragon's mouth and using the crack of her whip to create a blue shock wave of her own in her bid to null the oncoming wave attack. Though a long shot, her effort proved fruitful as her shock wave manages to cancel out the dragon's attack, leaving the battlefield bare and silent.
However, the silence didn't last long as violin music could be heard from the direction where Vivi was as only the violin is visible creating a sight that the violin is floating in mid air as a haunting melody plays. "What is that awful racket?" inquired the hair mage girl with an annoyed tone as she places both hands on her ears. Her torment only lasted for a few moments as she caught glance of Vivi coming into full view as she was reunited with her brother Roger. "Thank goodness that awful sound is gone. but I see we have another uninvited guest join the party," noted the girl as she gave an evil smirk. "If you're related, this makes killing more worth it," remarked the girl as she commands the dragon to continue its rampage.
Despite being on the advantage, the hair mage girl felt like something is wrong with her dragon as she caught a glimpse of Roger dashing with great speed near the dragon's feet. Before she could say anything, the dragon's leg had been lobbed off in one clean strike causing the dragon to stumble as it roars in pain. Without allowing the dragon to follow up on its attack, Cancer is seen using his scissor skills to cleanly cut off the dragon's head leaving a stump on its neck where it's head should be as the giant head crash to the ground. "Oh no! How could this be? I had you people in my clutches. But now i'm on the losing end! Nooooo!" exclaimed the girl as she clutch her head in agony as Cancer and Roger made short work of her dragon. She was so endowed with shame that she did not notice Loki delivering an attack at her as a flash of light darts towards her.
The girl would have been knocked out of the fight had not for the hair that suddenly rise up from the ground and formed a wall in front of her blocking Loki's attack as the hair sizzles into pieces revealing the hair mage girl. "Just kidding," mocked the girl with a smile on her face as she gave a hearty laugh. "Do you really think I'm beaten? You underestimated my creativity," noted the girl with a mocking tone as she snap her fingers. Suddenly, there was movement from the supposedly slain dragon as the severed neck began to pulse until it burst open revealing a phoenix and it flies towards the air displaying its majestic wings. "Behold the wonder of my creation!" proclaimed the girl as she points at Loki and the rest. "Feather Rain," announced the girl with a cold tone as the phoenix proceeded to extend its wings wildly causing hundreds upon hundreds of sharp hair made feathers to rains down on them.
((Sorry everyone. I've been away due to work in another location with poor internet connection and lack of time. However, I'm back in my beloved hometown and thank God that the project is done and over with. Took me a while to read everyone's posts. Still, I deeply apologize for the long hiatus and the inconvenience caused. I hope the rp can still go on without any hitches. So, happy role playing everyone.))
