 Seychelles Cherelle Petit Freshman
Cherelle was glad to have the acceptance of Christian, signified by his hug. Caught up in his hug, she almost didn't notice Leilani when she entered. Almost. It would be hard not to feel the island state's gaze when it fell on her. Even without seeing her, Seychelles knew what hatred was held in that look. By the time she was released, Leilani had already disappeared behind a wall. Cherelle looked towards where she thought she had felt the look come from, but since Hawaii wasn't there anymore, she was a bit confused. She knew she had felt the state's eyes on her, but she wasn't there. However, soon enough Leilani's presence was revealed, and Seychelles knew her instincts had been true.
"Mon pa konpran... Akoz?" She muttered quietly in her own language, not really wanting anyone to understand her. She really didn't understand. She hadn't done anything to Hawaii, yet Leilani seemed to hate Cherelle, and she couldn't figure out why.
Suddenly she was distracted from her thoughts when Susana was forced into receiving a shot. Seychelles's eyes widened in fear, for like many people, she did not like shots, and she took a step back from Christian, even though she was fairly certain she was was safe from his scary needles. Right? She could only hope so. Well since he was going to bed, she could assume so. However, after another glance toward Hawaii, Cherelle decided maybe it was time for her to leave too.
"I should go..." She said a bit quietly. Then, after giving Andrew a quick hug, left the room and headed to her dorm.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. Jones Freshman Charlotte stood with the events that unfolded before her eyes. Well it be odd to say this wasn't like a typical family gathering of crazy. She just felt bad for those not used to seeing these kinds of things. North Carolina wasn't exactly happy with how Leah treated their sister Susana. She felt bad that there wasn't anything she could do as she laid as Georgia's Victim. Once the worse was over everyone seemed to of skedaddled? Shortly after her phone rang to 'I Need a Hero'.. Perhaps she should change it since she still had a grudge since that night. Although it was days ago, it still brought back some of the irritation she still had, but suppose she should at least hear the guy out. "Yeah." she answered. "Yeah, he is with me. Oh that, we had a guest creating some trouble before she fled, so he must of dropped it during all that. He is sick and all. You know how crazy some things can get. If you want to visit, better see him while he is still conscious." 【 Mahalo nui ia Ke Ali`i wahine 】 〖 `O Lili`ulani `O ka Wo hi ku 〗 Leilani Kamea Malu Sophomore ﹙ There’s no place I’d rather be ﹚ x﹙ Then on my surfboard out at sea ﹚ xx﹙ Lingering in the ocean blue ﹚ xxx﹙And If I had one wish come true ﹚ While Leilani stood at the window, trying to find her happy place, she missed the medical drama that was going on in Andrew's bedroom. And she was glad not to have been mixed up in all that mess when Christian went all crazy with his CDC stuff. She understood that there were states getting sick with diseases and all, but forcefully stabbing needles into people's arms against their will was taking it to a whole nother level. She tapped the fingertips of her left hand against the glass as she opened her crystal blue eyes and stared out towards the rest of the area, the twinkling lights catching her fancy the most. While she stood there, she noted a shadow moving in the reflection of the glass and upon realization that it was Seychelles, her shoulders tensed before the girl was out of her sight and with the door behind her.
Once she was gone, her entire aura changed and she was able to relax. She hated being so tense and her aura becoming conflicting when she was usually such a peaceful paradise. But that's what being around the African girl brought out in her and it couldn't be helped. She couldn't say that it was jealousy that was fueling her hate persay, but there was definitely some strong and intense emotions that bubble forward whenever the girl was around. Letting out another reassuring breath pass through her parted lips, the Hawaiian then backed away from the window, finding that she no longer needed to be there. She had heard that Christian was going to head to bed and she thought that maybe she should start doing the same. So with that, she turned on her heel and headed back towards the bedrooms.
Leilani stood in the doorway for a moment before she realized that it was really only Charlotte, Andrew, and Susana left since she didn't notice Massy leave already. She drummed her nails against the door frame as she adverted her eyes from Andrew, not really knowing what to say to him at the moment since he basically told everyone that he was now in a relationship with the island nation she detested so greatly. Charlotte seemed to be on the phone now so that only left the southern state, whom she partially recognized from previous state gatherings although she was sure the two hadn't met properly.
Approaching the magically-bound state, Leilani's crystal blue eyes fixated on her hands before she squatted down, knees together, since she was still in short shorts and didn't want to be indecent to someone she just met. If there were some things rubbing off of Andrew and onto her, it was that first impressions were important. "Aloha, here I can probably help you out, here." She began with a reassuring smile as she raised a tanned, slender palm and bent over. The puka shell representation of Honolulu smacked against her partially-exposed coastline (since her low-cut shirt was a bit revealing) as some golden specks began to appear in the pupils of her eyes as a light green glow began to emit from her hands. "Don't worry, this isn't going to hurt." She reached forward and saw the string of energy that was binding her hands and feet to the sofa at the foot of Andrew's bed and took hold of it before pulling her left hand loose, releasing it from Massy's spell. With expert quickness, she did the same with her other hand and her feet before she let out a sigh and the light disappeared along with the golden specks that were sprinkled in her eyes. "There, you should be all better now. If you have any other discomfort, let me know, for I can rid you of it easily~" (HawaiianRollarcoasterRide - . . .)

TexasThe Lone Star State ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Susana Maria West SophomoreSusana felt her heart sink in her chest when Andrew rose up out of bed to come help her. She had not meant for him to get up...but she was no less grateful for his help. "Gracias Andy...now yeh git back to bed and rest some more...yeh shouldn't be up in yer condition." She gave him a strained smile, glad that she was at least covered up for now. She tried to wriggle free of her bonds desperately, wanting to get away before Gerogia came over. But alas, her efforts were in vain.
The CDC state came over with the materials for her vaccination and she stiffened at the sight of it all, her eyes growing wide. /Damn Massachusetts...why had she gotten involved in matters between the two Southern states?!? But all of the thinking and well-wishing couldn't change her fate now...she was stuck, truly stuck. She whimpered softly as she watched Georgia begin to prep her arm. When he threw his coat over her eyes, she was not sure whether she was relieved or more infuriated that she could not see the rest of the "procedure". Despite the fact that she could not feel the needle go in, she could still feel the vaccination go under her skin, causing her vision to waver a little and her stomach to drop from underneath her. As she tried not to give into the dizziness and blackness that threatened her, all she could hiss at Georgia was, "Bastardo." Thankfully he took the coat off of her face so she could at least breathe. Sadistic diablo.
As she panted softly and tried to get over her anxiety from the shot, she saw Hawaii come over. Susana hated that she was going to have to get acquainted with the island state in this manner...she had hoped that their first formal meeting would be more, well, formal. The state's attire did not really bother her, though she certainly appreciated the attempts at modesty on Hawaii's part. As the other state began to perform her magic, the Texan could not help but tense up a little...but the island state seemed to be so calm, and her movements did not seem to be too sudden. Susana decided to just wrench her eyes shut, expecting more "torture"...the worst case scenario at this point would be for her to pass out.
However, she felt one hand, and then the other, become free. Tenatively, she opened her eyes and lifted up both arms. "Gra-gracias," she said quietly. Wincing as she saw the bandage on her arm, she decided to turn her attention away from that, and, sitting up, she turned her attention to Hawaii. "Eh, gracias hermana {thanks sis}. Ah have a bit of a bump on mah head, but that ain't nothin' I can't take care of mahself...just gotta get back to mah dorm." She chuckled nervously, not really realizing that she had a giant green knot that was on the side of her forehead.((Out of Austin smile )

The State of Tennessee ☀Andrew S. Hickory☀ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Tennessee nodded to Texas when the elder state thanked him for covering her although he knew it wasn't much. Nor was there much more he could do even if he wasn't starting to feel dizzy and light headed again. Andrew almost felt like standing without grabbing onto something for balance was a great accomplishment for him even with Georgia's medicine. No, actually it might have been because the last dose was meant to put him to sleep that he was feeling so incredibly sluggish. He blinked a few times to try and clear his mind as he watched dumbly while Georgia and Hawaii took care of Susana in their own special ways. The Tennessean was so distracted by them and the art of not falling over that he didn't notice Seychelles until she hugged him then watched her go with blank confusion. That was fast and sudden and Andrew was mildly frustrated to notice that his surroundings seemed to be moving at a different pace than what he could keep up with. Eventually his eyes rested on Susana and the knot on her head as she said she wanted to go back to her dorm. Somehow Texas' condition always got his instant attention as if his oath to defend the state Sam Houston and Davy Crockett shed their blood for was so firmly imprinted on him it might as well be etched into his constitution. Andrew frowned at the mark before glancing towards his retreating brother's back. He would do this himself but when standing on his own two feet was an accomplishment he didn't want to push his capabilities by trying to physically carry someone else. "George," he called. "Can you put Tex in my bed?" Tennessee didn't even ask Susana whether or not she wanted to stay since the decision had already been made. He might have been a comparatively calm and quiet state, but Andrew had proven time and time again that he knew how to be just as stubborn and pig-headed as anyone else when he made up his mind. Bad health tended to only make him that much more unreasonable on these things simply because he wasn't willing to even humor someone else arguing with him about it. "She shouldn't be walkin' 'round like that on her own. I can sleep on the couch." Again... How did the women in his life keep putting him on the couch? Tennessee was fairly certain he spent more time on the couch so far this semester than in his own bed. Sometimes he wished he was a little kid again and could simply curl up in someone's bed regardless of gender instead of worrying about indecency. George "Christian" JonesGeorgia, U.S.A.Freshman I said where I come from It's cornbread and chicken Where I come from a lotta front porch sittin' Where I come from tryin' to make a livin' And workin' hard to get to heaven Where I come from Georgia was almost to his room when he heard Susana say she had hit her head. He had heard a loud thud... So he didn't know why he didn't check to see if she had a concussion or something. He internally kicked himself for not doing so.
He then heard his brother's request and turned back around and headed back to the living room where everyone had migrated. One glance at Tennessee said that the younger brother was exhausted. The medicine was probably finally kicking in. Now, Georgia knew his brother had said put Susana in the Volunteer's room, however the peach state wasn't about to listen to any of that. Whether his brother wanted to admit it, he was sick and should therefore be resting in bed. Not the couch. So, when he picked up Susana, he carried her into his own room which smelled strongly of peaches, fresh cotton, and that slight hint of peanuts that Georgia's skin always had lingering on him.
He laid his sister onto his rather large bed and even tucked her in before he kissed the cowgirl on the forehead in a sweet and brotherly way-- as a way of apologizing for not having checked for head injuries. He went to a shelf in his room and searched through some of the jars before he picked up one, opened it, smeared some sort of ointment onto his fingers and walked back to carefully rub it onto Susana's forehead where she had been injured. "It'll help with bruisin' 'n' swellin' along with dull the pain. If you like it, you c'n have some for keeps t'morrow. Alarm's already set for a good time to get ready fer school tomorrow. I'll make breakfast for us all in the mornin' 'long with s'me lunch. G'night, Tex." He went to his closet and grabbed out a red and white blanket before he walked out and turned lights off and closed the door behind him.
He walked back to the living room and tossed his blanket onto the couch before he draped one arm around Tennessee to help give his younger brother stability and began walking to the younger man to his room. "Now Ten, don' both'r arguin'. You need rest 'n yer bed m're 'n me." He helped his brother into the room and to at least get to the bed before he released his brother and backed up. He knew well Andrew wouldn't take lightly to being picked up and tucked in bed like a kid-- not that it stopped him from doing so with Susana just now, but that was not the point-- so he waited for his brother to crawl into bed himself before he turned and headed back to the living room one last time. He flopped onto the couch and sighed lightly in exhaustion. You could already almost see the dark circles of exhaustion forming under his eyes as he closed his eyes and held perfectly still for a moment...
Before he opened his cyan eyes once more and smiled to Hawaii and North Carolina groggily. He sat up and held his arms out, signaling he wanted a hug from them. "I know I oughta be too ol' for hugs g'night from my sis's, but I stil wan' one..."

Texas The Lone Star State ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Susana Maria West Sophomore As she sat up, the world turned into double for Susana. Closing her eyes as she swayed from side to side, the Texan willed her vision to be normal again. When Andrew called for Georgia to put her in his bed, Susana's eyes flew open and the girl turned to protest. "Naw, ah can make it back tuh my room without too much trouble! Ya need to sleep in your own bed, so that you can rest!" She tried to stand up but her legs would not cooperate. "Mi hermano pequeno, ah'll just stay here fer t'night, si? Ah can sleep on the couch, no problemo~" She forced a smile.
However, before any other disagreements could be brought up, George swept in and scooped her up. She wanted to protest, but all she could do was to wrap her arms loosely around his neck. The smell of the other state's room reminded her of home in a weird way and she closed her eyes to squeze back the tears as she was put into bed and tucked in. She winced a little as she was kissed on the forehead--though he probably did not mean for it to, the kiss hurt her just a little. The cream that he applied to her forehead did indeed help her a little, as he had claimed it would, and she found her vision clearing up a little. "Tha' all sounds good, hermano," she replied, stifling a yawn. Before the door was even closed, the Texan had fallen into a light doze.
The sound of voices roused her a little bit later. Straining, she could not quite tell who was talking. Without even really thinking about it, Susana used a little bit of her weather magic to beckon the lightest of breezes to bring the voices to her. There, there, she could tell who was talking...it sounded like Charlotte...George...some voice she did not recognize...and America. What was America doing here? She groaned rather loudly, wanting nothing more than to go back to sleep. However, she was also curious about the ongoing conversation. Slowly, she sat up. When her vision did not go double and her legs seemed to be working properly, she took careful steps over to the door and opened it just a crack, poking her head out to peer at the Nations and States gathered in the main area. She was glad that whatever Georgia applied to her forehead already seemed to be working quite well.((Out of Austin smile )

As it was, Georgia himself might not remember too much of what happened in here tonight-- and he wasn't even drugged! It was just a matter of so much had happened today that remembering all of the details would be a challenge for the Southerner.
He gave a great yawn the forced his eyes shut. When he reopened them, there were tired tears in each corner. He looked to Italy and gave a drowsy wave to his fellow Host, wondering if the Italian had really been with Alfred since the pool. Well, it was nice if he was helping Al out and going around with him to keep an eye on him. Well, if the Italian was here, maybe he should go get some sort of a snack to tide him newest guests over-- even if Georgia was semi-sprawled along the couch they more than likely would have liked to sit on. "Mister Feliciano, would you like me to go get you some coffee or tea or--"
"PeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaCCCHHEEEEESSSSS!!!"
"Oh dear God no...." Georgia tried to sit up faster so he could stand and run-- not sure where to, but as much as he loved his boyfriend he was tired and was not in the mood for whatever insanity Florida could and would drag along with him. However, as fast as he normally was, he never was fast enough to outrun irrationality. Then again, NO ONE, especially other Americans, are EVER fast enough to outrun irrationality. Especially a southern dose of irrationality.... Actually, no. Just the East Coast in general was pretty bad when it came to this sort of ridiculousness.
a** soon as he was about to stand, he felt something tackle him against the couch and hit his head against the arm rest. He thrashed and fought against Florida, cussing and hissing like a bobcat as he attempted to escape the vice grip he was put in. With no such luck, his fighting for freedom landed them down heads-to-the-floor and feet-in-the-air as they tumbled off of the couch together. Well, Florida at this point would get his goal of being sandwiched between the couch and Georgia due to how the Peach State twisted them. "Jesus CHRIST, Florida! The hell is wrong with you?! We have sick people in here trying to sleep, so chill the ******** out!!!" Of course, he said this while shouting at his boyfriend and making as much of a ruckus, but he was simply trying to be over-heard from what his boyfriend was saying.
