Spookies?
SPOOKIES?!
Suddenly the horrifying image of the spookies having her team's faces on them- and her exploding after eating them - burst into her mind.
"Uh...ah...yes...door fiber..." she replied weakly.
Instead, she turned to the newly-arrived Boo. "OH! Are we partying again? Who's stupid? What's an a**? Is that a good place to get a tattoo?"

Lattice's train of thought broke a moment when she heard two new voices one from a small round ghost-thing and the other from a very loud ghoul. She paid the ghoul more attention than she did the other ghost who seemed intent on just insulting everyone before she turned her attention back to Mot giving a small nod.
"Yes, like a badge something that speaks to your heart," she said softly with a small smile as she let her hand fall to her lap again. "I might make some new Tattoos on myself soon as well. I feel the desire to add to my art."

"... Alright but I would still like to talk to you about that sometime after this field trip," At least she did not deny liking Mot that way? Though if that was true, his earlier words must had hurt her pretty deep, "Please stay safe, Hel..."
She then offered the ghoul a small smile before walking away, given her some alone time; high school was terrible. High school involving humans out to turn you into weapons was even worse.

Mot turned back to Lattice as well. It was nice to know the other Team's members were so playful, though. It must be nice.
"I'd love to see them when they're done." He couldn't imagine sticking himself with needles,or tattooing his own arms. That sounded painful. Maybe that was just him being a wimp.
The reaper leaned back on his hands, staring up at the ceiling. "The next room will be our last. That is if there is any truth to Red's speech. She said five rooms, right?"

She settled down near Shun and Mitsu, watching them with a wistful expression; at least Mac wasn't going through all this!
Somewhere deep in Lizzy, she thought Mot would look grand with a tattoo of a heart withe the word 'MOM' on it. Okay, that was a lie. That was just someone attempting to break the fourth wall. Wheeeee.

"I'll be sure to show them off to you when I am done," she promised. It was always nice to show off one's new art pieces.
Lattice sighed a bit and nodded, "Yes it seems so long ago. My group and I didn't get to finish our second room when we were ... suddenly preoccupied with other things. Even if we go back things are broken as far as I recall..."
The ghoul shuddered a bit at the memory.

Ignoring was probably best. Just don't tell him that.
"Why would I party?" Edward scowled at the creature with the funny tail. "There's nothing to party about. We have all these strangers invading, and now I heard fighting inside and outside, and it's noisy as all hell."
Huff.
"And now you've gone and eaten a door?" Edward assumed, as somehow he knew what fiber was. Somehow. Siiiiiiiiiiiigh. "You're all asses, that's the definition."

Riyo couldn't seem to pull her eyes off of Hel as she huddled down tightly packed in her corner. Seeing the blank expression plastered to the reaper's face recalled a dull pain to her heart and sharp memories to her mind. A tall, formal looking figure with soft curves and cold eyes towered over the small form of a child. Riyo could see the woman's mouth move. She could see the rage pour from those eyes, and feel the crystal clear words cut through her torso like a knife through butter. Now that she had experienced death, the cat demon could without a doubt say it was much less painful.
There was an urge to do something. To say something. To reach out and offer the ghoul some kind of semblance of comfort, but it was so hard.
It was so hard to offer a kind word or gesture for something like that. So difficult to convey a truly compassionate idea in such a case. Moreover, it was Riyo. Comfort was one of those things she scarcely gave and/or received.
But the churning feeling in her stomach wouldn't leave. The thoughts, the memories wouldn't fade. They never really did, but it upset her more now than it had in ********...

The reaper was very grateful that Lizzy didn’t press the subject, and the spider demoness wouldn’t know at the moment how appreciate Hel was that she actually listened to her and then left her alone. It meant something, really. She gave Lizzy a nod of her head. “…You stay safe as well.”
Like someone more than a friend? They had to be your friend for that statement to be true, right? Hel wasn’t so sure at this moment.
Priorities! These gave her something to focus on and a sense of direction, which she sorely needed right now. Make it through the final room. After that…? Well, she wasn’t sure. Okay, focus on this for right now. Make it through the final room…make sure everyone made it through the final room. Despite what had just went down…Hel promised that she’d see her…team…through this.

Bul's monster form smiled the best a monster could when Bea entered the hub and gestured with his muzzle for her to join if she wanted although if anyone in the pile was less than cuddly it was him.
When a Boo arrived he merely leered at the bloodied thing. So much for them being useful in this house after all. They were just residents with very little to do but party eternally.
The creature opened its gaping mouth and yawned- though certainly not in anyone's direction. What a god awful thing to smell head on.

Cady turned to her team- and Bea!
"BEA! YOU'RE OK!" She launched herself at the ghoul, and stopped just short of trampling her, giving her an awkward wave instead.
"And we're ALL ASSES!"

Ugh. She still had the second room to go through? "That sucks." Mot said with sympathy, giving a chuckle anyway. "Well, you ghouls keep at it. It can't last forever, right?"
He hoped.

She nodded a bit at Mot, "We will," Lattice promised quietly.
"...Thank you, Mot. Talking with you has helped me a great deal," She said softly as she looked over toward where Lizzy currently sat, Lattice felt bad that the older ghoul had to see much of that display though she said nothing on it.
Still Lattice felt she needed to work better at keeping her composure.

Mot smiled widely. He helped? He helped Lattice? Finally, he had set out to do something, and it worked out.
He chuckled with relief. "I'm really glad. This helped me too, honestly." His eyes followed the direction Lattice seemed to be 'looking', and spotted Lizzy sitting with Shun and Mitsu. Oh dear.. that's right. Lizzy had been there the whole time.
Mot grimaced some. She hadn't needed to see or hear all that. "..You go sit with her. Your team needs you."

Willow paused when she opened an eye and removed her paws, "Bea!" Shame she didn't still have Christof's coat. "You should get in the pile." She said with a slight yawn.
Her tail flickered as she wrinkled her nose at Bul's yawn. For her she was still too close to that. "Oh wait, we don't have to distract them. We could just kill them with Bul's breath." She joked.
She rolled her eyes at Cady and the Boo. "Hey Cady, what does Mr. Floaty over there taste like?" Since the Boo's didn't really do much of anything.
