"Why the <******** is everyone kissing?"
The frustration Mal had felt over being turned into a ginger had snowballed into a white hot rage. Years of letting slights and offenses roll off her back had apparently resulted in a tremendous amount of pent-up aggression, all of which was currently focusing into a highly concentrated razor thin beam of hatred. She seethed at Jett, Raven, and Candice.
"Hey <********>! Maybe you want to save the ******** experimentation for when you can't hold your wine coolers and not when people are ******** dying!"
"Why the <******** are people crying?" Mal's head snapped toward the sniveling pair of Hawke and Anders. "Hey LARPers! Since when did the "P" start standing for "Pussies"? How about you roll a 1d6 to man the ******** up?!"
"Hey! You!" She pointed at Anandi. "I don't know who you are, but you're an a*****e!"
The time she had spent as a mellow, precocious wallflower apparently had to be made up for in terms of all the raw anger she had never expressed. When next Mal threw a punch at the bat that was pursuing her, she put every withheld negative thought she had ever felt into it.
Unfortunately, she once again threw it directly into the creature's drooling maw, gashes opening up along her hand.
"OW. And why the <******** are these things' teeth so ******** sharp! <********>!"

Jett stared, once again mortified. Whatever soothing feeling he’d had, it was now long gone. This was at least the third person he’d seen Raven with. What if she caught something from someone and given it to him? …How many others had she kissed while he wasn’t looking? –Did she find Candice more attractive than him?
Candice’s proposition—hell, if he wasn’t half out of his mind with fear, Jett would have loved to have two girls to spend his time with, but as it were, he was just afraid that something would go wrong and he’d make a fool of himself.
Jett was forcing himself to cling to logic more so than emotions—his emotions were clearly the problem here. He wasn’t acting himself and he knew it, but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. What would Jett do? What would Jett, if he was back home, not on this rainbow, not fighting bats, not being attacked by whales—what would he do?
…Well, duh. He’d kiss them both. He wasn’t romantically interested in Raven or Candice, but if they were both offering, why not make the best of the situation? Kissing seemed to calm him down and—the fearful voice in the back of his head used the logic, ‘If there’s two of them here, maybe they’ll make for a better target! You can use them as shields!’
“…I can share,” he said after a moment, pushing himself into an upright position so he no longer had to use his other hand to support him. He scooped his arm behind Candice, drawing her closer to him and Raven. The euphoria of the kiss had given him something other to focus on than pain or fear, so he was damn well going to take advantage of this opportunity. His hand slid lightly over Candice’s side, resting over her hip as he kept a secure grip on both of the girls.
He was only ever so vaguely aware of Mal's words, but Jett's natural urge to retort and pick a fight were smothered by his desire to keep both Candice and Raven at his side so he knew that someone had his back in case of emergency--provided these girls even could focus on anything other than kissing--but they made for pretty good shields, too, he figured.

Anandi wondered what everyone was yelling about. Really, there was no big deal to be had. They should all just chillax... She shrugged her shoulders and sighed. People were snuggling and hugging and kissing and suddenly, it was all okay with her. Some were still battling bats and Anandi thought she should probably help but... that seemed like so much work.
"So...ah... what's up, people?" she said, a strange, almost druglike quality to her voice. Lady be stoned (or incredibly yellow as the case may be).

Anders was sure that he was about to perish. If he perished, though, who would keep Hawke alive? There were no other mages that he could see, and certainly no mages that could revive Hawke if she fell in combat. He was going to die, and then Hawke might die after him. But... there was nothing he could do now. He was too weak, too pathetic. He knew the bat was coming after him again, and weakly he tried tor rise on his feet to defend against it.
He was expecting a painful death at the jaws of a violent wolf-sized bat. But suddenly Hawke was standing above him, a grim look of determination on her face as she faced that bat and promptly beat the bloody hell out of it. His tank was back! For a moment he wasn't so sad, tears of joy and relief bubbling in his eyes. "H-Hawke!" He could not ask for a better friend. No one else would risk their own life for him. Hawke was a friend Anders would never deserve, but would eternally be thankful to have.
But then she mentioned the injury kits and health potions, and Anders was back to being his mopey blue self. "I-I've run out of mana, Hawke! I'm supposed to keep us healed and in fighting form, and I didn't. I've failed you, Hawke! I failed the whole team!"

The fact Cameron was purple and an acting quite a bit like an idiot seemed to do nothing but add fuel to the fire that was otherwise called his desire to hug the bats that were attacking him. He would regret this largely later but when the bat came after him against he spread his arms open for the bat. It was such a wonderful creature, so full of life! Oh, that migraine aching in the back of his head could not stop him now. In fact, nothing could stop him until the bat dove right into his shoulder, knocking him back with a full force that soon had him face first in the "ground" but even that only lasted but a moment.
He withed and he moaned out, rolling around in pain with a bit of a smile on his face. If no one knew any better, they would assume Cameron was some sort of masochist when he fact he was much closer to a sadist. He just felt so alive with this pain throbbing through his shoulder like some sort of hot knife was not enough to break this purple curse, this purple spirit.
He struggled to get up with his arm hanging loosely from the joint of his shoulder, his amber eyes looking at it almost with a look of fascination. He had absolutely nothing to bound his arm to stop it from hanging like that or to stop it from getting more injured but that seemed to be second fiddle to the fact he wasn't moving. Even though the pain was shooting though him, he couldn't bare to sit there. He had to move, he had to do something!
Cameron Bat has 8 HP!

It was all too much for Wallace to bear. Of course, it had been too much before the blue made everything worse. Wallace's threshold for weirdness was quite low. Usually the antics of Flannery and her friend were enough to push him over the edge. Throwing kidnapping, terrorists, and a space whale into the mix was enough to completely overload his circuits, so he could barely tell which way was up.
He was crying in earnest now, and flailing at the bat who'd injured him. Neither the crying nor the flailing was doing much to help his cause, and that only made him sink deeper into despair. The voice he heard saying his name- his real one, the one Flannery had told him not to use- made him blubber even more. If the kidnappers heard, it would all be over. Who was that, anyway?
He turned, batting the bat away and stubbing his thumb for the pleasure, to see one familiar person and one less familiar person. Both green. But the girl wasn't usually green. Why did she have to be here too? "Rox-" he started to shout, but stopped himself. He didn't want to give away her name too. "Yellow!" he decided instead. She was usually more yellow than green, and he wanted a nickname that worked regardless of crazy rainbow bridges.
It wouldn't be fair to ignore the guy she was with, so he started to call again. "Um... Green!" Well, he was green, and Wallace didn't know the guy enough to pick a more suitable color. It was all he could do to shout to them through his sobs, followed by a weak "help meeeeee!"

Roxy wished she felt at ease in the arms of a friend, they weren't as close as perhaps she was with her classmates but Steven was still part of her circle. But there was still the feeling of fright that seemed to radiate from her body. She tried to cling more and even more so when she noticed there was a damn bat behind them. "Why is there a bat behind you?!" Roxy screamed, terror levels rising as the red eyes beast got closer to them.
Roxy pushed Steven off her as hard as she could towards the winged creature, though not as far as she could have hoped with a pair of arms laced together. The green nurse hit hard against the bat, sending it off course and onto the ground with a splat where it slid far from the scared pair limp and dead and towards parts unknown. Roxy stood there stunned while Steven snapped back towards her like a yo-yo, her mouth open in horror. "I killed another one! OH GOD, I'M A MURDERER!"
And to add more to her scared state of mind, two convoys seemed to descend upon them. First there was Bela who was also green. "Oh god, you're also greeeeen!" Roxy wailed, worried for the pirate woman. And next was Wallace who was blue. "Oh god, Wallace, you're blue!" Well, he was usually blue but now he was all blue. All over!
"And you don't remember our names! Wallace, what's wrong with you!" Why was he calling her Yellow and Steven Green? Was something wrong with his memory? Oh god, what was wrong with this place?! Roxy went back to clinging to Steven.

Darwin might have been doing a great impression of an Oompa Loompa, but some tiny, primitive part of his nerd-brain was getting mad. Really, really mad. He didn’t turn red, he didn’t shout, and he didn’t even throw a temper tantrum, but some part of his mind just knew that under normal circumstances, he would rage. He was still just a tad too freaked out by the whole situation to display his wrath, but wrath was a-bubbling.
The first person to figure this out? The bat that had broken his glasses.
Darwin just looked at the bat, furrowed his bushy brows ever so slightly, and punched it square in its furry little face.
Bat = ONE HIT K.O.! (( Don't mess with the glasses. Ever. D< ))

The green girl cried out as soon her hand made contact with the bat. Frantically she wiped her hand on her skirt, trying to eliminate the sensation of touch. “Ew, ew, ew, EW! Just go away!” Sheila cried, looking up in time to see the monsterous bat-like creature dive at her again.Quote: Roll Result: 11 Odd number means the bat has injured you! The number you roll determines the severity of the injury. A roll of 1 might be a bruise on your arm, while a 5 is a broken finger, and a 10 is a broken limb! You can determine the exact injury. Sheila couldn't move her legs. She was trembling, shaking as the black beast fell into a dive at her. Her arms rose as the shadow descended, her cry of "NO!" breaking off into a scream as the bat crashed into her with a sickening crack. The bat noisily took off again as Sheila crumpled to the ground, tears streaming down her face as her left arm hung awkwardly at her side.(( Sheila!Color: GreenShiela!Bat HP: 8 ))

Steven made a weird yelping sound as Roxy flung him right into the bat chasing him hard enough to kill it, and while he was relieved he was no longer being chased by the same animal that broke his finger, it was kind of shocking.
It didn't really sink in until she cried about being a murderer and his fear driven yells responded with, "You saved me!"
There was a brief pause before he squished her in a hug and a round of hyper driven words escaped his mouth in rapid succession. "Thank you, thank you! Argh, my finger. Hi, Bela. We're all green! I want to go home." That last part was a pathetic whine. He had been extra pathetic since turning green, he noticed.
Suddenly a blue dude was calling them colors which made no sense because obviously right now Roxy was green. Not yellow. Duh. He was... whathisname. Wallace?
He just pressed his mouth into a straight line across his terrified face and clung right back to Roxy.

Bela flailed at the bat and watched as the bat attacking Steven basically just got squashed. "Ohhh....." She paused and poked at Roxy, "I think it's better off like that." She whispered still trying to hide from her bat in fear. "The one chasing me I think might've just broke my wrist a few moments ago or popped it out of place." She was holding her arm close to her chest. 'I don't think you're a murder."
She waved slightly timidly at Wallace. Who was yelling at Roxy and Steven. "Hi Steven!" She paused when Wallace called them Yellow and Green. She paused and then whispered quickly at Steven having been reminded, "Ohwhenwe'rearoundtheterroristcanyoucallmeMaryRead?"
She paused oh god the bat found her again it screeched as it dive bombed her. She waved her good arm at it smacking it as she ran away from it. "Ohgodohgodohgodit'sgoingtokillme."

As the civilians began to change color and battle bats, the Space Whale began to change too. It grew larger. The pouch in its massive gullet where Cancer was nestled sagged low, creating a perfect outline of her unconscious body. But then a finger moved, a hand pushed out. Cancer was awake inside the beast, and it appeared that the fight had not gone out of her. Inside of the creature, the Zodiac began to thrash and kick like a caged animal, flailing and sparking magic in every direction. Her actions coupled with the attacks from the civilians and senshi brought a dark, rumbling cry from the Space Whale. It swelled and swelled, sucking in mouthfuls of air with such ferocity that a few of the civilians lifted into the air and had to grab on to one another just to avoid getting swallowed by the whale. ...but everyone wasn't so lucky. Quote: WHAT A BLOWHARDYou are still suffering the coloring effects! Everyone will roll two six-sided dice. The FIRST NUMBER determines whether or not your character was sucked inside the mouth of the whale. Odd means you weren't! Even? Well, we hope you aren't claustrophobic. The SECOND NUMBER determines how much damage you did to the whale in the process! Those inside the whale will find neon blue organs that glow like lamps and slime. A lot of slime. And rotting spacefish. Basically, it smells, breathing is hard, and if you crawl far enough down, you might just bump into a struggling Sailor Cancer. Want to get out? YOU ARE IN LUCK. People trapped in the whale can roll one 100-sided die (after the initial post/roll above!) to escape the mouth. Roll 51-100 and you escape! You may only attempt to escape once every 30 minutes. Want to help someone get out? YOU ARE IN LUCK TOO. Roll two 100-sided dice. If your FIRST number is 51-100, then you pull out whoever you are targeting (which you need to specify DURING the roll prior to editing in your RP post). But that's not all!If your SECOND number is also 51-100, then you have been sucked into the whale now. Whoops!

As the whale began to suck people up, the still violet Raven clung to Jett's waist with her arms, clinging to the male for dear life.
"Jett! What the hell!"
She didn't know what was happening to Candice, but still held fast to the one who seemed to be rooted to the ground.
Her feet flailed wildly, and her remaining shoe fell off, hitting the whale in the face, though not very hard.

Ricky was still on the floor, shaking off the pain from his shoulder relocation when the whale started sucking in strong gusts of air. His legs started to feel a pull towards the whale.
"Aw, HELL NAW," he shouted as he reached his good arm out to military crawl away. He noticed in his peripheral that a civilian beside him wasn't being blown away - perhaps he was close enough to end of the suction's hold to crawl out? He gave his best effort and rolled to the side as the whale's suction brought him closer and closer until...
He made it. He was safe, free from being sucked into the whale. Others, however, were not as fortunate and he watched in terror, his skin still green, as the rainbow of citizens were sucked inside.
"You stinkin' a*****e whale, let 'em go!" he pounded on the space whale with his fist before backing away - he didn't want to catch the whale's attention.
[[EDIT TO ADD: Ricky has dealt 4HP of damage to the whale.]]
