Haha. I like it. But in reference to the debate it is a total cop-out. You can't deny the fact that a lot of atheists are stuborn and blind, so you insult the person who made the remark. When personally, I do think someone who is openminded is superior to someone with a closed mind. Someone who thinks that their beliefs are the only right way, even if logic can prove that they might be wrong.
You have to accept that we as humans cannot comprehend everything in the universe. Especially at our current level. That does not mean that since we can't comprehend it or record it, it isn't there. We don't feel the earth spinning, but it is.
While I agree that much of it is superstion, speculation, and theory. Who are you to call people who belive in it silly? That puts you on a higher pedestle too darlin. We all think we are right, and don't are our flaws. Everything has its flaws. At the same time everything has it's good side too. You can deny it all you want, but without dreams, without ambition, without apurpose, we are lost.

But since I don't have the right to call people silly, I clearly don't have the right to have an opinion of any sort, so I guess I just won't talk anymore.

Hey, don't get all defensive now. If this conversation has become something that has offended you then I am sorry. That was never the purpose. I was simply stating an oppinion different than your own. Not even my own.
I thought it was a discussion of no importance.
I wasn't saying you don't have the right to say what you want hahai was just saying that you were doing the same thing that I was. Proclaiming superiority by calling people silly. You have every right to belive what you wish.
And I am sorry that darlin offends you. I will not use it at you again.
Next time warn me if your getting ready to bite my head off. :/ I don't know why people get so offended by the things I say. I really didn't mean to upset you, it was just a playful debate.

Haha, don't be. Really, my debates get me in trouble often so I really do need to be the one apologizing and grovelling.
If you want to make me feel bad for my beliefs I understand.
1. I don't care, life is short so make it a good one.
2. Everything is beautiful, even when we cry.
3. There is no beginnings or endings.
4. Nothingness cannot exist.
5. Chaos and order are one, and the nothingness, a contradiction to reality is the balance.
6. Everything must be in balance

I'm surprised you haven't hit my beliefism Omega XD might as well make a full circle and crush my dreams too. Not that you could... but I am interested in how you would.
Actually, you're being slightly close minded yourself there... considering you're disproofing (or the fact that you CAN disprove) everything coming your way puts you in a position of superiority to "the small minded beliefs" or in Emily's case "the faithless".
To counter your "there is no way to prove that any of us exist" theory, I'm going to put forth my own beliefs. I believe that my essence is dragon. Meaning that my core of existance that this vessel I inhabit is that of a dragon. During my "awakening" I established a bond to that energy and strive to bring forth it more and more into my being everyday. You can't prove that I exist, fine, but I have proof of my existance because even if my story has already been written, during this particular moment, I can be me. That is what it is to exist.
Pushing back a ways to "life being pointless" or something to that effect you mentioned about being an unidentifiable spec on the lint brush of the universe...I call that selfish and a bit petty. I live for my wife. That is one life I effect greatly, perhaps not always positively, but I effect it. Butterfly wings cause tsunami's kind of deal I suppose is what I'm getting at here. I agree with you that in the end living your life to the fullest is all that is important, but not reasons you stated. I make it better for myself and the people I care about. If I effect others too, hey, maybe one day that History book will spout my name centuries to come, but I doubt Napoleon or Edison were trying for it.
Obviously...I don't have much in regards to point. I don't mean to discredit your opinions, merely stating my own. I look forward to a chomping down on them.

Oh man, im still at work and was writing a big response about how most of the stuff I argue I don't actually belive and how life is beautiful and how I don't think we are small. How I am selfish and concieted, but not for the reason you belive and blah blah blah. But I lost it.
I don't want to disprove or change anyones beliefs, I just think it is good to hear from the other side. To question yourself.
I could argue against dragons shadow,I could also argue for them. When I debate, its not me saying my beliefs, it is just me building an antithesis to make someone think. I have realized that this doesn't work though, as people get defensive.
I am not perfect, I am far from it. The only thing I am good at is making up arguments haha

I enjoy agruing just as much as you do. Especially when my arsonal comes with fun analogies and out of the norm idealistic views. I can't really call my draconity an occult...because it is sort of self imposed... There are others in the draconity community... but we're sort of loners by nature and kind of fight amongst ourselves if we collect XD

I think arguments are great when both people can take things in stride. I had a friend who was a pro-communist atheist and another who was christian republican and we would have hours upon hours of arguments and name calling. Arguing for the sake of it. Getting heated, but we all knew that despite our differences we would always rely on eachother for a fight.... good times.

Personally, I love meeting someone who has a different opinion from mine. I think it's important to be able to accept another person's opinion or belief while holding onto what you think is correct. The world would be much nicer if we could agree to disagree.
That's probably the strongest belief that I do have.
