In the same motion he tied it around his neck, and stood back up. "I thank you for your kind words, but they aren't necessary. Everyone loses when it comes to war. It would be childish for me to hold a grudge, just because my village got the worst of it." Laram thought about his own words and nodded. He was right after all. He pushed his thoughts back and remembered what was important. The chuunin exams had already begun, and he needed to get there as fast as possible. He began to inch his way toward the door as he spoke again. "I thank you for accepting me into your village, and for your kindness. Now, if you don't have anything else for me, I'll be off. The chuunin exams have started and I need to make my way over there. I've infiltrated Konoha once before, so I know how to get there. Goodbye, forgive my rudeness." With that, Laram dashed out the door, and then the office. On his way, he nodded to a boy sitting on a bench. He didn't know who he was, but he was probably a comrade of some sort.
Outside the office, he sprinted through the village. He came in the gates, so he still remembered the way to them. As he ran, he eyed his pack. I have ten regular kunai, ten exploding tags, ten shuriken, and twelve clone kunai. That should be enough, and if all else fails, I can make more. Laram made his way to the gates, and exited them, flashing his new headband to the guards. He had a long road ahead of him, and he needed to make good time if he wanted to participate in the exams. ______________________________________ Exit to Leaf Outskirts

He watched the other boy pretty much dashing from the building, Artemis simply assumed he was either turned away or going to the exams. He sighed to himself, not seeing any signaling from anyone for his turn. So he stood up and walked over to the door frame of which the other boy left. He leaned against the frame, looking over at the man. "Hello. I'd like to apply from residence in this fair city. Where should I go to do such?" He asked, rubbing one of his wrists.

 ▷ ANBU Captain - Genjutsu~ Harmonious Illusion - Moon Village - Sage - Cats Summoner ◀  Miirror looked up from his paper work to see another person requiring his assistance. Hearing him out Miirror smiled and nodded, "Are you a shinobi or just a villager?" He had to ask this, mostly because of the way the boy questioned about residency. For usually, shinobi ask for headbands first, instead of a place to stay.

He looked over at the man, his question puzzled him, for he was neither. "Hm.. Is escaped test subject an option?" He asked, rubbing his arm again, nerves acting up. "To be honest I don't even know what village this is. For which I'd like to apologize for my ignorance." He sighed, making his way into he room and takin seat in a chair.

As the boy sat down Miirror folded his fingers to each other and leaned a little more into the desk, "Please... Do explain more if you can." He said, seeing now, that this was more than a simple get your 'headband and leave' type scenario.

Artemis sighed, sitting up straight in the chair. "Well, when I was young my clans small village was raided. Men in white coats took use young-in's away, to this.. labratory? I don't know why but since I didnt have my kekkei active, they used me for simpler tasks, testing poisons and such." He said, scratching his arm, "I'm sorry must sound like pure fantasy. But I assure you it was far from it." He pulled his sleeves up, many of scars from rough needles jabbed in his arms. He stared at his own scars fro a second, memories flowing before he stopped them. "But in anycase, about that residency."

He lived a rather enclosed and sheltered life due to his father once being the head of his clan. It changed, of course once he killed the Tsukikage but even after that, things were pretty normal. But to hear such things were happening wounded Miirror. For the simple fact that people would even do that... to children no less! Slowly nodding Miirror would pull out a map, "S...Sure." Pointing on the map, Miiror showed him the main road, "Go back on the main road for a bit until you meet the hot springs of the village." Miirror said as he then pointed to a building that had large blue circles behind it. Then pointed to a building that had many buildings in a line, "Then, go to these buildings. They are our residencies. Just fill out the application and you may reside there." Miirror bowed, "Welcome to the village ----" Miirror sort of left the ending open, so that the name of the childwould be spoken.

He nodded, taking the map and rolling it up. "Thank you, and its Allen.. Allen Letris Artemis." He said sliding the map into his pocket, as he stood up. "I should be back latter, I'd like to put my skills to use doing jobs around the town." He bowed and turned on his heel walking off out the door.

As Artemis made his way back up the stairs he remembered he had forgotten to check for jobs. He sighed to himself, pushing the doors open. "Err.. Hello again." He said to the receptionist, "I got my living arrangements for your files." He handed over the papers and waited as the receptionist left to seal and store them. After a couple minutes the lady came back, looking up. "Yes?" She asked, her face not amused. "Do you have any jobs around I could do?" He asked, scratching his arm. She sighed and pointed at the mission board behind him. "You'll need to be a shinobi before you can do those, otherwise you'll have to go get a job at the market." She turned and walked into the back room. Artemis made his way to the mission board looking at all the jobs. "Hm.. Shinobi..." He pondered, wondering if he should indeed take on such a responsibility. Sighing he turned and made his way back to where he started, the mans office. "Sorry to intrude again, but how does one apply to be apart of the Shinobi?"

Hearing his request, Miirror placed his elbows on his desk and his chin upon his intertwined fingers, "Hmmm... Are you able to take on the responsibilities of a Shinobi? Based on your history, you seem to have never attended the Academy. I would hate to send you on a mission, specifically a higher leveled Genin mission, and you be hurt." 'Even with raw talent... It will only get you so far. And right with what is going on now, the missions we need are all going to be much harder.' He thought to himself as he awaited Allen's response. (( After you get a headband, don't forget to sign up for a squad. ^-^ ))

He took a second to think, he himself wasn't sure if he was quite ready. "Hm.. Yes. I I'd love to help this village, after it so graciously accepted me into it. As for being hurt, I can handle my own in stealthy situations, full on fighting might not suit me for now tho... Until I get some training on said subject." He stood up straight to further his conviction on the matter. He was ready to pledge himself to the village, to protect it and its citizens. "Plus, either I'm blind or you seem to be short on staff here in the village." He remarked to the man, having noticed how few head banded people walked the streets and roofs.

The national Chuunin Exams are currently underway. So I have no choice but to be a little short handed." Miirror said before taking out a document and handing it out towards Allen, "Here, is a mission. A simple mission a assure you but it is one that we give to...special Genin." He wouldn't tell him that this was actually an exam for possible Oinin representatives. If he spoke highly on his ability on stealth... Then this was a perfect test for him. "To see if you are really ready to be a Genin, there is a scroll in the Academy that if heavily guarded. At this time, there are no classes so it is even more so guarded. I want you to steal it and bring it here. Should you be successful, I will give you a head band and make you an official Genin." Miirror said, as he placed a brand new handband on his desk as if to give further incentive to be victorious. Quote: Mission: Steal a Scroll Description: The Mizukage has sent you to steal a scroll in the Academy! Special Notes: I will be playing the NPC to set up the scene and the 'problems' you will have to face.^^ Good luck!

He nodded as he listened to the orders. "Yes sir," He said as he took the scroll and placed it in his pockets, "I will assume force is not to be used. So I shall be back as soon as I have completed your assignment." He nodded once more, as he gave one last look at the headband before heading out. 'Hm.. hope I still have those smoke bombs..' He thought to himself, exiting the building.

Eternal Snow / Yuki   Ninjutsu User Konin + Animal Tamer Konin = 2105/2105 Yuki and Eien appeared in the office, looking for Miirror. He wanted to talk to the Mizukage alone for a while, he had seen him in Konoha, but with the circumstances, he didn't have the chance to react to the fact that his students were missing. Eien was snorting in disbelief still.

Eternal Snow / Yuki Ninjutsu User Sannin + Animal Tamer Sannin & Mizukage= 2635/2635 Yuki donned on the Mizukage robe and hat and sat behind the desk, looking at all the papers on the desk and started updating everything. Eien sat at the front of the desk, licking at her paws and awaiting people to start showing up. Yuki looked a bit worn out, wondering what was going to happen now.. Miirror and Nur were gone..
