I turn around and head into the stables, whistling softly for the horses to follow. I grab Toto's saddle in one hand and his blanket in the other. I did a spinning back kick unlocking Toto's stall door and I gesture him forward with a nod of my head. He pushes the door open with his body as he walked forward towards me. I put the blanket on his back and the next was the saddle, I buckle all the straps to secure the saddle and grab the reigns, halter and bridle. I put the bridle on, lead Toto out, tie the halter on top of the bridle, and tie him to the post. I pat Toto on in the side of his neck, turn and say to Iyasu. Which horse do you want milady?

Iyasu followed the stable master to the horses' home. He collected the saddle, bridle and halter. The icy blue eyed fellow saddled up Toto and walked the stallion over to a post.
"May I please ride Raku?" She asked in response to his question.

I walk over and grab Raku's blanket in one hand and his saddle in the other, I turn to her and say. Hai could you, please grab his bridle, and open his stall door?

"Of course!" She smiled to him and headed over the hook near Raku's stall. Carefully, Iy-chan lifted the bridle from its hanging home and then moved over to the latched stall door. The young woman opened it in the same careful matter as she lifted the bridle, making sure the door did fall open and create a jolting resonance in the stables.
"Here we are then!" Iyasu said aloud, coming up behind Kibakichi with the bridle in her left hand.

Thank you. Raku come. I said firmly but gently, Raku came forward and turned to his left. I put blanket and his saddle on, securing the straps snug up against his body. His head was right in front of Iyasu.

Iyasu smiled softly as she gently patted Raku's long face. She calmly placed the bridle over the horse's head, placing the metal bit into the horse's mouth. "I hope that isn't too uncomfortable for you . . . I know my old mare never liked having her bridle . . ." She said to Raku petting his mane soothingly.
"So, I'm ready whenever you are!" The geisha said to Kibakichi, looking over to him with an excited smile.

Interesting. I smile to Iyasu and pat Raku on the side of his neck, head over to Toto, pat him on the side of his neck and say to him. Don't worry my friend, I won't fall off you, this time. I untie the halter, and grab the reigns and lead him out into the open, and mount him on the left side. Let's go, milady.

Iyasu mounted Raku without a struggle and trotted over to Kibakichi. She was more comfortable with horses and it definitely showed in her stature. Her posture was straight, with a grand smile on her naturally pale rosy lips.
"Which direction, Kibakichi-san?" She asked, trotting over to his right side.

I adjusted my posture, straightening my back, I smiled at Iyasu seeing how used she was at being on horseback. To the forest. I click my tongue three times, tapped Toto gently in the sides with my heels, and popped my my hips foreward. Toto walked briskly as I steered him towards the gate.

Gently Iyasu tapped the horse's sides to let him to move forward. She brought the stallion around and followed after Kibakichi toward the wood.
"Kibakichi-san, are you up for a small race?" The geisha inquired.

A hidden smile encased her lips as she trotted beside him, "From here to the archery range? That's all?" Iy-chan egged him with a miniscule giggle. "Why not from there and back to here? Unless, you think there's too much competition."

A small growl escaped my lips, then a sly smile slid on my face. "I won't let her get under my skin." I thought determinedly. You're on!! Toto, go!!! Yah, yah!! I roar as I struck Toto in the side with my heels, the stallion whinnied loudly, as if telling me he was as excited as I was, rose up on his back his legs, came back down and was off in a flash.
