Worst: I'm not too fond of RD's first chapter either from what I remember of it.

...How is FE6 possibly a choice for worst. In FE 7, 8, 9, and 10 you start out with a ridiculously easy chapter that has like 5 (or whatever 10 has) or less enemies. In FE6, you're brought right into a decent chapter with a fair amount of good units at appropriate levels- it's a chapter that doesn't beat around the bush or baby you. As much as I appreciated the 'tutorialized' Lyn mode when I first played, Batta the Beast isn't enough to make the chapter really enjoyable.

Beating up Boyd was really fun. Heh, heh, heh....Oh, and facing Greil made it totally worth it.
Worst: FE 7
The first chapter for Radiant Dawn can be challenging since Edward is less durable and doesn't double as often...but that's seriously offset by the fact that you get both vulneraries and herbs plus Micaiah can sacrifice spam Edward. (The only chapter when he actually does double in hard mode D: for me at least.) That being said this is still tough...I'm going with FE 7 because Lyn is the only character given and Batta was just "meh" to me.

Best: FE 7 for sure.
No random skills, no super powered units other than Athos and even he is pretty balanced as an archsage; nothing out of the ordinary besides Fire Dragon and Nergal who are both balanced/fun bosses.
Worst: FE 10.
All the mastery skills are broken, Eclipse owns everything, and the Matrona staff can actually do a ton of damage along with a high crit chance...That and the fact that the Micaiah chapters are a real pain with units facing off against man-eating cats. >.> Bosses can OHKO your unit if THEIR mastery skill activates in endgame...Oh, and I forgot that near endgame units basically cap everything!!!! Even Micaiah!!! (That's with barely any stat boosting items).
Addition of royals...I could go on, but you get the point...
The only thing I have to add is how overpowered stone is in FE 8, but even that is somewhat balanced by the low hit chance.

^ You haven't even played FE4, Berwick Saga sounds pretty borken from the sounds of it too. :/ ...Wasn't this SF's thing last week? Ah well, let's hope it doesn't turn out like it did there and end up being a shitstorm of: "0mg haxx u dint pik fe7 4 most balansed, ur a troll!!!!11!111oneone!11!" Most: FE3, every class has their advantages, disadvantages, nice curve of difficulty, Zagaro and Wolf, and many others are not stupidly broken, giving balance to the units, perfectly zen game. Honourable mentions to FE5. Least: FE2, seeing as Alm is INVINCIBLE, yes INVINCIBLE, Celica can OHKO EVERY monster enemy with her magic, while other characters have a hard time even chipping, the lords make this game loltastic. At least a vast pool of characters in FE4 were broken, balancing the game to an odd "broken balanced", same with FE10. :/ Quote: There aren't really any truly balanced FE games though. They're all screwed up in one way or another. I actually don't think IS aims for balance really. Although I must agree 100% with Darros of SF on this one in truth, but will vote anyway.

Best: FE12, Chapter 13x, Yay, the only chapter in the game that features FE5 music (unfortunately, I quite liked the remake of the FE5 song and wanted to hear more FE5 music), the only chapter in the game that isn't a "Seize the Throne" mission, challenging and fun! Worst: FE5, Chapter 24x, F.o.W has little to do why this is the worst, in fact, F.o.W isn't really a big thing in FE5 at all. What makes this the worst map is the fact of all the negative stat staff users (negative stats don't wear off in FE5), coupled by the fact that it's an "Escape" mission, so if you didn't bring the little amount Restore staffs FE5 throws at you, you're screwed, if you broke the staffs in the game dealing with Cyas putting everyone to sleep, you're screwed. BUT OH WAIT, that's not even the worst part of this chapter! Worst part is the teleportation tiles that warps one to a place they can't leave with infinite reinforcements, so not only do you have to bring in the Restore Staffs, but burn through your few Rescue staffs too (if you're not a wuss like me and not savestate abuse that level like a ********). There's so much more wrong with this chapter like the fact that you have to fight through a shittonne of Dark Magic users who have poison related magic, but that's about the worst s**t one has to face in this chapter, ******** you Evayle, enjoy your badass endgame alter ego. If you don't believe me: yeah.. if I shelled out $500 on the actual cartridge, I'd just skip this hellhole without access to savestates. .__.
