"You sound sure of yourself," Sonja comments, looking up at Miya a moment before looking away and adding, "But...the scientists on the station had been sure of themselves, too." Miya's words had staved off a full-blown morose mentality, but Sonja was still iffy that they'd get off this station alive.

Upon not seeing her in the gally Gin blinked puzzled. Where would she be? She wasn't outside.. where would the Captain be... she tilted her head, her ears flicking a bit
"AH right.. bridge.. captains.. bridges they go together"she muttered. Gin needed real rest since it had actually taken an effort to remember captians usually resided on the bridge to over see ship funcions. Locating a directory, it woudln't take her to terrably long to navigate her way to the bridge. Then she paused. Should she just enter? She was fully armed...didn't you take off weapons before going on the bridge? No, no not in this kind of situation.. what if one of them were on there now, the bridge would be vunerable. Gin shook her head realizng she'd been staring at the entrance for at least five minuits.
"I need another energy boost" she muttered. Sleep would be perfered, but in a pinch, and yes she considered this all a pinch, she had the stim-injects. She had been using them and the last one was definaly wering off. Besides, she was really to afraid to get the proper amount of sleep she needed right now.
Right, going onto the bridge, she'd zoned out again. This was bad. She'd have to get a stim-injection from the other medic. Gin moved foward and then opened the door to the bridge.

"I doubt those scientists were as good as Aleron. He showed me some of his experiments that I wouldn't have believed as science-fiction if I hadn't seen for myself..." The silver haired medic smiled faintly, remembering those unique plants. "Besides, we're going to leave ASAP...just need to find the right parts for Mio to fix the ship, if I'm understanding the situation correctly. ...We'll all make it out of this."

Aurora takes a moment to respond but she finishes typing and turns to see who was coming in. "Ah, Mrs. Namida. Good. I would like to speak with you. Is there something I can do for you?" The woman had, after all, come to her.

Gin had tried to stay quiet and out of the way for the moment seeing that Aurora was working. But since she'd spoken to her Gin stepped up. Her slightly scattered thoughts she managed to corral.
"I did want to appologise for any offence that you've taken withmy behavior. I'm rather.. On edge" She said to her appologetically.
"your.. scitentist, seems determined to press any boundry I've set, and frankly. I don't want him near me right now" she said to her bluntly. Unable to be more.. descret and present herself better.
"But besides that, "s he said shaking her head slightly. Her thoughts scattered again in her mind it felt like.
"I wanted to ask if I may join the ones outside investigating the movement. If it is one of those creatures I woudln't be able to forgive myself for staying in here while they try to fight them off. If it's survivors of the crew I can help reassure them that this is a safe zone for now" she said

Shrugging a shoulder, Sonja signals that she didn't hold as much faith, but she doesn't say anything more negative. "Just how bad is this ship, in terms of damage..."? she asks in a lsight change of subject.
Mio was still holed up in the access hatch above the airlock. His tail tip flicks idly as he taps away at his data-com's board, adding the new protocols to the airlock's systems. This was a little more complicated than setting up the extra sensors and keeps his thoughts from wondering.

"Let them see what's out there, first," Aurora answers. 'If they need back-up, it's better that the back-up isn't caught in any possible ambush along with them." Aurora's madness had a method. "If it comes to that, you will go out with me, if you wish. Now, about those boundaries, I rather think that some of them might be a bit unreasonable. Make no mistake, I will be having a conversation with my Lieutenant about his lack of care towards his command. Why don't you tell me exactly what it is that's bothering you?"

Miya thought for a few seconds before slowly shrugging. "I don't know for sure; I'm not much of a tech-geek. But...I think one of the engines got messed up or something. A few replacement parts and some time to install everything is all that's needed to fix everything, I think." Her words came slower and more hesitantly this time as she tried to think. Mechanical stuff just wasn't her thing...she was better with living things.

Gin took a deep breath and then ran her fingers though her hair. Ok so that made sence, though it was essentially feeling like sending the lambs out to test and see if it was wolfs or pups they were going after. It was her crew who was Gin to argue. Trying to collect her thoughts and say them in a way that made sence insted of a huge rambel.
"In the begening I didn't have a clue what was going on here. As things got progressivly worse I came in contast with these things. And while, yes, it's highly unlikely the infection is transmited though being bitten. Every person I've seen bitten has come down shortly after with a high grade feaver, then goes into a coma. He's been bitten. While I don't mind being in the same room as him. I want him far enough from me that if the change comes before the feaver and coma this time I have a chance to draw my weapon. He is bound and determind to get as close to me as possible. " She said. her eyes narrowed in anger and her tail lashed at the air.
"Taunting me as if what I've been seeing, and having to accpet as fact is nothing but bull. " Her voice just about broke as she shut her eyes for a moment and cleared her thorat.
"Usually I don't mind the chain of command so much, but it's been hell for over three weeks. and the lot of you are acting like I'm dilusional and over reacting. He's treating it like some sort of wonderfull discover, like a effing flower or something!!" she said her voice rising. Then she stopped and bit her tounge slightly to keep from shouting at her. She took a couple breaths.
"I'm sorry. I've been running on fear and rather ragged emotions all this time. I'm a medic, i'm not supposed to shoot to kill. I'm not supposed to shoot at all. i hate guns.. i alaways have.. " she muttered her voice beomcing more of a rambing mode. She grimice realizing it.
"Sorry" she said

Aurora sighs. "In some respects...you are over-reacting. We are not trying to pervert anything. We are here to try and undo what was done. Please have a little more faith in us than that. And I do think that i have been rather patient and understanding," she points out, though not harshly. "I think that perhaps you should go get some rest. "You're tired and it isn't helping your mood any. You'll feel better after a good night's sleep. I'll wake you if you're needed, alright?"

Miya blinked in surprise at her words. "Really? So, if I contacted Mio and asked him to list off the parts he needs, you could tell the field crew where to look?" she asked, calmly but hopefully. That would be very helpful...

Gin's fur fluffed up.Overreacting? Undo!??! She took a couple deep breaths. This was bull. Pure and utter bull. But she rubbed her forehead.
"I can't" she said simply to her with a shrug. She'd have to go to medical and actually get something to knock her out.
"I can get naps in but I can't actually sleep anymore right now. I'm to high strung, and wary of every sound that comes my way. " She said to her. True perhaps her lack of sleep was causing her to be a touch over the top. She rather thought it was justified. Fix it.. peh. She rubbed her temples alittle bit once agian.
"Perhaps I'll visit your medic. I feel most comfortable in the medical bay. I might be able to catch a little bit of a nap in there, but I'll stay away from anything that induces sleep at the moment if that's alright Captian. "s he said to her trying to be respectfull.
"You might need my help and if i'm out then I won't be able to respond" she said. Waiting to ensure that was ok before she'd head out.

"Please, call me Gin" she said to her. Then she nodded and headed out. She could feel the exaustion. A nap definaly sonded good. All her naps kept getting interupted. She stiffled a smal yawn as she walked down the quiet but bright halls.
"At least there is light here" she muttered. Mabye she'd sleep under one of the beds in the medic bay..
