James immediately got a "OwO" expression on his face and hurried away to find a good place to hide, moving into the closet.
Luke moved into the doorway as Alex did, and managed to catch the movement of his two future sons out of the corner of his eye, but didn't pay any attention to it.

James was able to fit into the closet, but...with all the junk inside, there was little room for Adon. So he opted for diving behind a curtain, and immediately cursing himself for thinking that hiding behind a curtain was any better than just standing in the middle of the floor. Still...he couldn't do anything more than just stand there with his legs sticking out and think "inatimate object" thoughts.
"Oh, and who do you want to talk about?" Edel asked, ignoring the two boys for the moment...seeing as how Adon had tried his best to hide the two of them.
"There was a man upstairs while we were. I didn't see him, but I caught his scent. I just want to know if he's still in your house." Alex replied. Her arms crossed and despite trying to be polite, was clearly ready to rip the man in question to shreds.
"Grandma!" a little, girly voice called from the opposite end of the hall. "Do you have anything to eat?" Rosie called.
From behind the curtain, Adon slapped himself in the forehead. This was just getting better and better.

Thankfully for Adon, Luke's attention was diverted when Rosie appeared, and he looked to her and waved happily. James, on the other hand, had to contain himself after hearing Rosie's voice; he was playing hide-and-seek after all...

"Yes dear. In the kitchen. Help yourself to anything that you want." Edel replied.
Rosie smiled, and quickly went up to Luke to hug him around the leg before she went off to get herself something to eat. As she hugged him, she couldn't help but notice something past Edel's dress. There was something wrong with the curtain behind her. Enough that Rosie swung around Luke's leg to get a better view inside.

James shifted a bit in the closet, on top of the pile of toys and whatnot as he was, and he lost his balance and slipped, sliding down onto the floor and landing; and he immediately started crying because he hurt himself.
Luke, of course, noticed this immediately, and being the person he was he moved toward James, gently pushing past Edel, and went to pick the boy up and comfort him.
"Shh... It's okay..." he said gently, cradling James in his arms. James looked up at him, sniffling and hugged him around the neck and buried his face into his shoulder; he said: "Daddy..." but his voice was muffled, so it couldn't be made out clearly.

Adon winced and carefully peeked out from behind the curtain at Lucas and James. Alex had taken note of what had happened, and shifted her attention off of Blackstone and onto the boy as well. Rosie looked to the two with a frown, then noticed the other boy behind the curtain.
Adon looked over at the girls, blinked, and kind of stared at Alex. She looked so....different. Younger. Different style of clothing...hairstyle... makeup...everything. She... certainly didn't look like the same mother he knew. And was that a tattoo peeking under the sleeve of her shirt?

Luke let James cry on his shoulder for a little, and when the boy calmed down he gently set him down. James sniffled, wiped his eyes, and looked up to Luke and hugged him.
Luke smiled warmly at this, and hugged the boy in return before noticing Adon and smiling at him; the same kind of smile he'd give Adon in the boy's own time. The kind that was warm and reassuring.

Adon looked at Luke and moved back a bit. He...certainly looked like the father he remembered. Only...he wasn't their father yet. Or...at all if this was a different reality.
"Is he okay?" Alex asked as she moved out of the doorway and made her way into the room.

"I think so," Luke said gently to Alex, and James looked to Alex, got an adorably confused expression on his face, and said: "You look different, Mommy."
Cue the awkward silence.

Adon winced and looked over at Alex. Alex stared down at James and blinked. And blinked again.
"...huh?" she asked.
"Um...h-he...um..." Adon began, looking over at Edel with a pleading expression.
She looked as though she were trying to come up with a good explination as well.

James looked up at Alex with that confused expression still, and his lower lip started to pout.
"Mommy... It's me, James. Don't you remember? We were playing with my toys earlier while Daddy was at work," he said.

Alex just stared down at him, her eyes widening. "M-mo-" she started, before Edel stopped her and put an arm around her shoulder.
"James and his brother appeared in one of my rooms. Seems they were telepoted here from their home. I"m sure you've met people here from different realities and times." Edel said.
Alex looked over at her with wide eyes. "Different...s...so you mean he's...they're my..."

James nodded. "Uh-huh," he said, smiling, and he hugged Luke around the legs again. "Daddy here went to work, and then we went outside to play with my toys."
Luke's eyes widened at this. He was a father?! Before he had time to process this though, James left him and moved over to Alex, hugging her legs.
"Love you Mommy..." he said happily.

Alex looked down at him, her mouth hanging open as the boy hugged her around the legs. SHE was the mom...and... LUKE was...
Before she could think much more of it, the litle boy cooed out "Love you". She smiled down at him, awed out of being surpised, then bent down to give the boy a hug. "Arent you sweet..." she said gently.
Adon smiled at her reaction. He was afraid that she would have...well freaked out from what he'd heard Alex was like before she had James. While she had James even.

James huggled Alex a bit more, and then looked around and saw Rosie. He beamed and waved to her. "Hi Rosie!" he said happily. Then he looked to Adon and moved over to him, dragging him out from behind the curtain.
