In my women's group, we get together twice a month, near the full moon we do a ritual, we are honoring Artemis this month. And then near the new moon we get together to work on different things, they are very hands on and everybody participates. We do what we call crystal healings, its a laying out of crystals near the chakras, then we walk around the person, chant an appropriate statement for he Chakra, Like She sees for the throat, she feels for the heart and she knows for the brow. We start with the base, move up to the crown, the sweep the aura field clean and then do any extra areas that may need attention, whether its an aura or some other ailment, when we are done with the healing, we sweep clean energy back up around the field and then we are done. Its VERY basic aura work, but its beautiful. It can be done by yourself as well, just lay the crystals out and lay in them. It may be hard to sweep your own aura clean but it can be done. I am interested in trying the mudras, I think thats something I could do on my own to enrich my understanding of auras and it would be so good for my health as well.

The Fifth Sacred Thing is one of my all time favorite books!!! I hope that this becomes a reality.

I am looking forward to Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp coming out next year. Not a pagan movie and if they follow suit, the witch is evil, but I am setting aside my Pagan solidarity for this one. I do need a date for it though, every time I get one, something happens. People fall out of my life or there is a horrible breakup. I am thinking I should plan on seeing it alone, just to keep people in my life. It's really weird. 4 people so far have said they would go with me and none of them are in my life anymore. Getting afraid to ask people I love to see it with me right now.

I read the words Johnny Depp and my brain instantly turned to mush... whee ...I adore him.
Either way, that seems pretty cool.

I saw the fourth pirates movie and honestly, I wasn't impressed. Not even Johnny Depp's acting skills can save a movie from bad writing. sweatdrop My favorite Johnny Depp movie is probably The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. That was an awesomely trippy film. I still haven't seen Public Enemies though, and I really want to see that. I'm waiting for it for Netflix to offer it streaming though, hehe.

I adore Secret Window. The twist at the end is awesome! I liked POTC4, yes I agree the writing could have been much better but it was still a good movie in my opinion.

I'll be very sad to see this end. I've grown up with Harry Potter and I love it. Not just because fantasy is my favourite genre, but because the themes of friendship are so strong and in that sense I can relate it to real life. If I ever have kids then I'll make sure they grow up with it too.
