Mod or not, saying that it's not "my call" to obviously show an opinion -- or even to go as far as saying "it's not gothic because it has some white" -- it's really stupid, even more than what you guys think I am spewing from my mouth. It's also kinda ironic that you're called EGL Goddess and you don't know very much. If I wanted to give constructive critism on everyone's outfit, I would have done so. I know how to give advice. All I said was, "You're dressed gothic -- not lolita." You must have heard, "ZOMG U R TEH UGLEE AND LYK U HAVE NO PETTI UR POOR HOT AZZ" or something. I'm sorry but I took what you said as disrespectful and impolite. I'm sorry that I'm not into the history of goth fashion since that's not what I'm into. Saying I don't know very much when I know enough to not wear an all white headdress with an all black shirt (after labor day too wink ). You never asked me anything about my knowledge of Lolita. Course my name is not meant to express my knowledge but how much I enjoy the fashion. All I have to say is to be more respectful; I don't think that's too much to ask. But do consider this a warning.

It's got cat ears! =^_^= (My nickname is Chesh. =3 ) zomogog so cute. your eyeliner is purrrfect. right in the lines. what a great time to snap a photo. (im gonna have some new pics sooner or later of my red hair cut bangs and mabye my huge tatto, 3 hours in the chair baby <3 )

I think that you are all poor argumenters and do not really know how to debate things without going into personal insults. This includes every single person taking part in the discussion. If you want to get something good out of this, please, stop taking things personally and going as low as personal attacks. And yes, this is also advice to the mods - you are not handling the matter professionally. If someone gives critisism of an outfit, it is not criticism on your very soul and the core of your existence, just the looks. There is no need for a catty response. "All, right, thank you for the comments, even if I don't fully agree with you" would be enough. Be civil.
Just my 5 cents (there is no such thing as a 2 cent coin here sweatdrop )

I've done an outfit like that and it didn't look right (I have a similar all white one as well). your headdress needs black trim and add some white trimming to the shirt and it would flow a lot better. otherwise it's just off looking cause it doesn't really match.

guys...stop this nonsence please. it's unnecacery, like EGL goddess said, this is a picture post for any day photos..
I am not happy with the state this guild has gotten in since i've been away, and i know the other mods arent best pleased too.
Please be respective to others and give constructive crit to those who ask for it...i'm not going to say anymore as this has wound me up.

What super sucks is that I lost that headdress -- so I only have a cherry/sweet lolita headdress and bows crying So now I need to get another.

I'm going to get a dragon on my ribs (or spine, I'm not sure which yet.) when I turn 18. :3 my mom took me for mine on my b-day. i totally recomend getting color ones. they look so much better than black. i wanted to allready have the pic but ive recently been reminded that im a teenager on my face and back! gonk i was thinking about getting mine on my ribs too but i ended up getting a pretty big one. a twisty curvy dragon on the side of your ribs with the tail around your navel could look pretty bad a**. i sugest looking for pics in advance and seeing your artist in advance, you could show him his pic and he could tweak it and make color sugestions and all that. mine was custom draw from other pictures and ideas i had.

Yeah, mine will definitely be all custom work and pretty ******** big. It's gonna be red orange and a little yellow, with maybe some soft blues as shading/ to make it pop.
I was thinking more of an eastern dragon, too. I don't know what it'll look like yet. I don't think I'd like the tail around my navel, because I'm kinda chubby right now, and my weight changes a lot. >_<
