Ayame blinked and shivered slightly in the cold water, then scowled and pulled herself up out of the water. She shook the water out of her hair, still seething slightly. What had come over her? "Why the hell am I acting like this?" She wondered, angry with herself, and slightly confused.

Logan just laid back in the water and sat there floating.

Ayame stretched out on the dock, enjoying the feeling of the sun of her face. It really was nice just to lie here, relaxing in the sun. The only draw-back was when the wind blew, which caused her to shiver slightly. But the wind wasn't too bad, and anyways, the cooling breeze was a nice changed from the glaring sun.

Logan floated over to the dock and clapped his hands together. He pressed them on the dock and a small flash happened. He pulled his hands back and a rose was now in his hands. He threw it up to the dock and it landed on Amaye's chest and he went back to floating.
((Or she could slip and fall.))

(Eh, okay ;p)
Ayame sat up, and the rose fell into her lap. She picked it up, and looked it over, obviously both puzzled by it, and amazed by how Logan could make something just...appear. "Thanks. This is really pretty." She said, breaking the stem, and tying the flower into her hair. She stood up, and stretched. What happened next happened almost too quickly to follow. Ayame's foot caught in a crack between two boards, and she slipped over the side of the dock, fear plain on her face as her foot gave a sickening snapping sound as she hit the water and sank downwards.

Logan was about to reply but then she fell. "Ayame!" he yelled as he swam down into the water and started looking for her. His voice was filled with fear when he yelled her name and it was on his face too.

Ayame stared up at the surface of the water as she drifted deeper and deeper downwards. Her foot felt like it was on fire, and terror was eating away at her, making it so that she was unable to move. "This, this is exactly what I was afraid of!" She thought numbly, closing her eyes.

Logan had to go up to get air again and quickly dived back under. 'It's gonna be too late!' he thought as he frantically searched the water for her.

Ayame's passionate nature kicked in, and her eyes flew up, blazing with anger. Ignoring the pain that shot through her leg whenever she tried to move her ankle, she began to determinedly kick up towards the surface, her hair billowing out around her like a gold curtain.

Logan saw her trying her best to get out of the water and swam over to her. He wrpped his arms around her stomach and swam them over to shore. He let go of her when they were on land and laid on his back. "Are you ok?" he asked looking at her.

The fire died out of Ayame's eyes, and instead she just look pale and clammy. She shook her head. "My ankle..." She whispered, eyes wide, then coughed up water. She knelt and hacked, trying as best she could to rid her lungs of the water she had swallowed.

Ayame shook her head stubbornly as she sat up. "It's nothing, I'm fine." She muttered while casting the dock a murderous glance. "I just...don't think I'll be coming back here any time soon." She looked up at Logan, and smiled, the full understanding of what he had done for her hitting home. "Thank you for saving me." She said softly. "I don't really know what else to say. But you probably just saved my life."

"Well you know... if it weren't you I would have just got out of the water and minded my own bussiness." he said smiling at her and offering hi hand to help her up.

Ayame laughed. "Yeah, right. I'll believe that when I see it." She took his hand, and pushed herself up off the ground, gritting her teeth against the fresh wave of pain. She stood, slightly unsteady, just trying to balance her weight out so that there was as little weight as possible on her injured foot.
