I'm brand new to the guild, so I thought I would stop by and say hello. I'm IEditYourWorld, or Edit for short. I'm a young adult from the state of Missouri. I work as a wedding videographer, so I know all about video, movie making, and anything else motion picture related.
I prefer literate roleplays, and I enjoy things that sound realistic. I enjoy a good history related RP or something that can be referenced to a time in history (for example, the RP can have a Tudor dynasty feel, but have a different set of characters all together.) If it can be referenced to a time period and the writer makes for a rich history of a fictitious land and era, I gobble that stuff up like chocolate. I like detail and believability, and not "it's fantasy so it works" kinds of drivel. I'm not trying to offend anyone who is into that sort of thing because we all have things we love, but I just can't say that it's my thing.

I have to agree Samuel: your sig is hilarious, Edit. xd Anyway, sounds like you know what you like so no harm no foul. It's not exactly history-related, but I do have a Sci-Fi RP in the works at the moment. If it comes to fruition, I think it will be VERY involved indeed. 3nodding
