User ImageSeconds turned into minutes, and after about 5 of those same minutes, Merlin heaved a sigh and stopped waving his wand, stretching his arms behind his back and popping his aged spine in the process. "Well, that's that. Thanks... ah... oh, how dreadful."

He brought his free hand up to his face and, with a rather frustrated look, massaged the bridge of his nose. "Maybe I am going senile. I never even got your name! How rude of me. I am Merlin, and you, mah boi?"

{Oooo Goody! What are we Torturing today!!}

[Castle Oblivion :: Commons]

Haruko sighed as she finished cleaning up the mess she caused she turned her back against her fellow Conclavers. She had imagined a big appluse but instead it was quiet and they had already moved onto their next subject: tea. It really did bug her that no one understood her methods or wantend to understand her.

Haruko grabbed her own cup with her number VIII on it and filled her cup quietly with tea. "I see no one had fun watching that except for me lowlifes," she gritted her teeth while saying this. She quietly walked to a far corner table and put her head on the table. After a good killing like that it wore on her abit since she had not tortured anything in a while. She saw that number X had come back and she really did not care. She could die and she would not care about that person that could not actually hurt a person. Her hat fell onto the table as her thoughts stopped and her eyes shut. She fell asleep thinking of her life back on her home planet.

˹The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.˼

"Yes please, my dear Vereor," she replied with a smile, taking a seat. In the time between pulling out a chair and sitting down, she morphed from an Arabian beauty to a red-headed girl who couldn't be more than nine. The whole process was like a blur; her olive skin phased into a creamy white, and her raven locks shortened and faded into an adorable blush.

"What's with all the new faces?" she perked like the child she was, her now emerald green eyes glancing at Zigmund, and then at Tsurumi. She eyed them curiously from her perch; she was tall enough to see over the table, thankfully, and sent a polite smile in both their ways. "I take it you're here to stay?" she asked them with genuine inquisitiveness. She already knew the answer, of course; they wouldn't be sitting down to tea if they hadn't already sworn an oath. But there was nothing wrong with developing a nice sense of camaraderie with your fellow... employees.
Though in all honesty, she just wanted to know what made them tic.

Not that they'd notice, of course.

˻So it all comes down to what you want. Worms, or cheese.˺

Solaris

Sorry...
...I'll be taking my leave now.

{Traverse Town : Second District : Underground Sewer}

When Merlin finally finished his casting and stretched out, Sol nearly collapsed from relief. Five minutes of consecutive spell castings had wiped him out. He wasn't used to it. But, even as a bead of sweat rolled down his face and dropped to the ground, he felt a well of excitement rise up. If Merlin could teach him...maybe he could eventually become as powerful as him! It was a really exciting thought. To one day become that powerful....

Shaking his head, he disregarded those thoughts. So far Merlin had not given any real indication that he would even be willing to teach him. So, with a bit of sadness, he fought down that well of excitement and hope. "My name is Solaris Teodolis, sir." He said, looking down at the ground.

Tsurumi

I'd prefer if you were to just...

...disappear

{Castle Oblivion ~ Commons Area}

Hmm. I may have to try to make that blend of tea. It's very calming. She thought to herself as she tuned everybody out but Vereor. Concentrating on how he was making the tea, he barely noticed that Haruko had come back, only vaguely noticed Zigmund, and took absolutely no notice of the rather short, new face that came to the table.

It wasn't until she actually asked Tsurumi a question that she noticed her. And even then she had to take a second glance. The girl appeared to be less than eleven years old, not even a teenager yet. Nor a pre-teen. She did understand somewhere that she would have to be special to join the group, but something was more prevalent, something she couldn't ignore.

So, getting up, she walked around the table to where the young girl sat. Looking her up and down, she simply couldn't accept this. "Young girls should not be dressing like whores." She said, staring down at her.

{This is based on my belief that you're still in the Agrabah clothes and you haven't changed. I can change it if you would llike me too Rio ^_^}

~Window~

[Traverse Town :: Second District]

Window could barely keep up with the Viera as he acrobat-ed his way into a new section of town. Where did he get all of this energy? And why did he display his physical prowess so openly? Window was still too used to his planet's conservative and humbling customs (one should not proudly display his superiority like that) and the ritualized forms of physical contact. Thus, it was even more of a shock when the two of them turned a corner--and Window (who was rushing to stay behind Nalo) ran smack into a woman. Window tried his best to step around her, but he was not as graceful as his companion and ended up clipping her side. Since most of his body was bare, the touch of the woman's own skin sent shivers and a shock to Window's mind. This extensive contact with strangers was so wrong! The man tumbled to the ground, narrowly missing a small child who was walking with the woman in pink. Embarrassed, Window scrambled up and looked to see if the woman had fallen as well, and he had instinctively proffered his hand to help before even seeing her condition. "My deepest apologies, miss!" Window exclaimed. "I am afraid that I was traveling too quickly to be aware of my environment. The fault lies with me. And I hope I did not endanger your child!" Window looked back to see where Nalo had disappeared before turning back to the two he had bumped into. Hopefully he wouldn't lose the Viera.

NALΘ
"C'mon! Why can't you just smile?
----------------------

Nalo waited for a moment to catch his breath, waving frantically at Soryuju to get his attention. Then, it dawned on him that he'd lost his new friend. "Oh crap! Where'd you go Window?" Nalo dashed back outside and found Window next to the two women he had sprinted past. Apparently Window hasn't quite as lucky. "I'msosorryWindowandyoutwo! Hey miss..." Nalo walked up and addressed Aerith. "I'm really sorry for my behavior earlier. I was going way too fast and was dragging Window with me. I can see that he hurt you, so it's my fault. I'm sorry." He too offered a hand to Aerith.

[*~Youni~*]
"...."

[First district: Outside Hotel Cafe w. Aerith]

....Everything started with nothing.

and things moved with no sense ....

.... the presence of many buffering against it

.... imprinting what was missing.

"Never...leave your friends.. behind." Youni said stoically back to the healer, concentrating on the meaning of each word. Never; meaning to not allow something forever. Leave; the act of moving on without anothers presence, or something. Your; something that belongs to you- means that it is yours. Like her clothes. Aerith said these were hers.
Friends.... friend.
One who entertains for another such sentiments of esteem, respect, and affection that he seeks his society aud welfare; a wellwisher; an intimate associate; sometimes, an attendant.

This bond falls into many subcatagories...
Aerith claimed this title in association with her many times.

Youni knew the litteral term, she looked it up in a dictionary.
But Aerith could see where her undertsanidng feel short. In the way her eyes expressed no warmth, no inner recognition of how wonderful friendship feels.
She couldn't comprehend the gravity of friendship, it true meaning, it's feeling.
To Youni it was just another word. Another peice of data, nothing more.
Nothing...

...yet.

"Never, leave your friends behind."

Just before Youni began to speak, a young boy (the furry humanoid from the café) ran past her, almost knocking her down, while a second boy clipped her side, causing her to do a 180 and have to catch herself. She looked somewhat bewildered before chuckling. She hadn't fallen.

"It's alright, really," she replied, giving a reassuring smile, though her face showed a bit of a disciplinarian (she was the mother of her group, after all). She didn't need the hands to help her, as she was still standing. "Don't be so hasty, or you might actually hurt sometime, alright?"

With that, she looked to Youni, who was just repeating what Aerith had told her a few moments prior. She was likely interpreting the phrase in every way imaginable, knowing the young girl.

"I suppose Max won't be joining us," she said with a sigh, glancing back toward the Café with a shrug. "Maybe we'll meet him next time."

[[Reno, Rude, Rufus- if you could just throw him out of the Café or something, that'd be fine. It's been two weeks since his last post, so he's officially 'inactive'.]]

User Image"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Solaris. Now, would you like a cup of tea?" he asked, holding his arm out yet again, obviously inviting Solaris to come along for his next teleportation. "I have some ready at my house. We can chat there, if you'd like. I just want to get away from these sewers- Heartless tend to fester in here."

[Ölüm]

(Unfortunately, there is not a fleck of remorse within me.)

[Castle Oblivion :Common Room]

"...new members shouldn't be so quick to judge..." Ölüm quietly shot back to Tsurumi. One would think that by seeing how easily the mind reader was rid of life, XII would shut her mouth at least for a few seconds.

"You'll learn soon enough that it would be best if you never opened your mouth unless you had something good to say to us," he continued "Realize that there is no one stopping me from relieving number X of your presence. I am sure she would not mind as you have been nothing but a waste of space for us thus far."

{You look like you fell down a tree and hit every possible branch on the way down.}

[Traverse Town :: Second District Cafe]

"Not much-" Suzu started to reply when the finely dressed man approached Sory. It all looked rather shady to her, the sly look on the man's face and all. Did such transactions usually go on in cafes on other worlds? Suzu, having grown up in royalty wasn't really subjected to the nastier end of people unless it involved advisors. Never, ever trust advisors ... especially advisors with beards.

Suzu watched Rufus walk away with a worried look on her face. Exactly what was going on? She didn't like to be left in the dark especially if it was concerning other people's welfare. Not that Sory was a subject of her kingdom but it worried her none the less. However, she smiled easily as he turned the attention back to the group. "Nothing really, watching Souzourou sprinkle some kind of red condiment on his fish." Suzu replied, gesturing over to the ketchup bottle and the immortal. Most of their group seemed to has dispersed and consequently the cafe had become quiet enough that Suzu could hear soft music in the background.

[Castle Oblivion :: Commons Area]

Aria observed Diogene's oncoming death with nothing more than a blank stare, noting the pained look in his eyes before Vereor handed him over to Haruko. And of course, Haruko had to go make a show of his killing. Why put that much effort when in the end she'd have to go clean up all the blood? At least there was no body to deal with. So who won the bet? Not that anyone really agreed on the bet, she was merely curious.

That was when Aiko returned from her mission in Agrabah, donned in the Arabian style of the world. She watched quietly as the Number X morphed bodies without a second glance. Aria had grown accustomed to Aiko's whimsical appearance changes. However, Aria did give a small smile as Ölüm corrected Tsurumi, who seemed like she spoke before thinking. No wonder their numbers stayed relatively low, hardly any new people had enough brain or etiquette to stay alive long enough.

~Window~

[Traverse Town :: Second District]

Window put down his hand when he saw that he hadn't knocked over the lady. He felt ashamed at being reprimanded, especially at his age, and it seemed that as soon as he let go of his old notions about calm, respect, and dignity he just wound up hurting someone. Window's spirits dove from their lofty heights buoyed by excitement, and they fell into a small pit of remorse and rebuke. Stupid, stupid, stupid...this is what happens when you forget yourself. More than anything, Window hated to let people down. His father would have been ashamed to see his lack of composure, running around willy-nilly. As much as he would have liked to blame his new friend for tempting him with a life of unrestraint, he knew it was his own fault for letting his excitement get the best of him.

On his world, the most humbling position one can put oneself in was to stand upright, facing another, with one's hands and arms outstretched to the sides. It was a full body exposure, leaving no area hidden or safeguarded, and it was a gesture used for deep apologies. Window assumed this position and, after a moment, bowed, making sure to show his backside as well. He didn't quite realize how awkward it would look to those not from his world, but he once again marveled at how interesting his cultural ideas were when compared to others. "Mistress, I humbly receive your words and sow the lesson into my heart," he said, making sure to use the proper formal language. "Please excuse my behavior." And my nakedness, he mentally tacked on. Where am I going to find more suitable clothes? Rising from the bow, Window added, "If there is no harm done, then may I extend an invitation to dine with us as repayment for your magnanimity? Or do you have other business to attend to?"

[[Nah nah, you're all good xD. She didn't change her clothing ^^.]]

˹The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.˼

The vixen raised a brow at Tsurumi's approach, the corner of her lips curling into a sly smirk. Just as she was about to reply, her venomous comrade beat her to it. "Now now Ölüm, dear, this young lady only has my best interests at heart," she assured him, though that didn't stop her from returning his thoughtfulness with an appreciative smile.

Turning back towards the aeromancer, Aiko winked at Aria as she noticed her smiling, then leaned forward and placed an elbow on the table, resting her chin in her hand as her eyes ran up and down the length of the newcomer that stood before her. "I'd be a bit wary, m'dear. The people around here take offense easily, and won't hesitate to take action if - no, when - they do," she advised, nodding solemnly. Her words carried no direct, personal threat, and without a hint of forshadowing as to Aiko's own character; serving only as a warning of the vengeful nature of the Conclave. However, as she spoke, her physique veered again. She grew taller, and her auburn curls straightened and lengthened, lightening up a bit until it was summer blonde. Her already green eyes darkened just a tinge, and there she was, a perfect replica of Tsurumi T’kaa Venox.

Only she was still clad in her Arabian garb.
