Garret looked at Annie, it seemed to him she was analyzing him. It made him feel uncomfortable. He shook his head slowly, and his hand creeped up to his shoulder. He didn't want them to find out, so his hand fell back to his side. The memories were piling up in the back of his head, at first he thought they were good memories. But they were just of his toddler years.
As he searched the memories he found more recent ones. They were not full of love, they were full of hate towards his father. A younger Garret watched his drunken father beating his mother. Then the young boy was whisked away to a memory of an older him. He was standing over his father , dead on the ground, holding a smoking shotgun to his chest. The gaping hole pouring blood. His father had gone too far this time. HE looked over to his mother. He shuddered at the sight and tears streamed from his eyes as they clouded the vision of his mother. THe glass from the beer bottle sticking up in the sweet smelling, soft skin of her face. The emotion was so thick in these memories you could pour it into a cup. The gruesome scene faded away to another memory. He was sprinting down the street, his blood and tear stained hands shoved into his pockets When everything suddenly went blank.
"No. It's..it's...i'm fine. Annie...." He tried to tell her, but the words were lodged in his throat like he had swallowed too much peanut-butter. All he could mutter was one sentence more. "I got my memories back." He locked the emotions away and looked up at her again, with the sweetest smile he could fake.
[OoC: Now you know a little about his life before the accident. razz Sorry it took me so long to post i've been working on this all day lol I wanted to reveal 'past' for a while now.]

"Well that's good to hear. Can't go through life without knowing where you've been. What I was actually asking, though, was if you had any questions regarding your class two abilities?" He can tell by the awkward expression on Garret's face that whatever past he remembered wasn't at all pleasant. I'll leave that to his friends, is the phrase that runs through his mind. He has never been very good at emotional comfort. All he was good for was providing facts.
The bubbling behind him stops. Shane grabs one of the mugs situated off of the rack beside the coffee pot and pours a generous helping for Garret. "The sugar is beside you, and the creamers are in the fridge. Help yourself to as much as you want." He holds the mug out for Garret to take.

Garret accepts the coffee, with a nod, and sipped it black. He needed it. "Not exactly questions, but mine took longer to turn on, and when they did they were difficult to control." He said from behind his coffee cup. Garret tried to avoid eye contact. Shane was smart, and he didn't want him to start putting things together. "It would turn on randomly and things I were touching froze, what it looked like, on the outside."

Annie raised a brow surprised at Garret's confession. He knew about his past? And it didn't seem at all pleasant from his expression. As she was about to get off the counter and give Garret a supportive hug- after all a hug couldn't really make things any worse, could it?- Shane interrupted.
Quietly Annie stood there, placing her elbows on her knees and propping up her chin. She already had gotten some answers from Shane Morris, it was Garret's right to get the same. Then again, apparently, her powers baffled Shane Morris almost as much as it did her... Not saying a word she listened.

Tansy's eyes shot her open as she looked around the room. She let herself relax again and sighed. She was glad her sister was okay... for now. She growled as she stood and kicked the bed post. "GOD DAMNIT!" She bit onto her lips as she sat herself back down on the couch and held her foot.

Shane pours a cup of coffee for himself, also taking his black. After taking a sip he answers Garret, "You wont have to worry about lack of self control for much longer. We've helped many meta-humans get their powers under control." He looks over at the clock on the stove, "Oh wow, Ako's been gone a bit longer than I had expected." He looks over to the living room when Tansy shouts out.
Gidget goes over to Tansy after she sits down, "Is everything okay Tansy? I mean, it looks like you hurt your toe and all, but I meant if you were feeling alright besides that."

Annie narrowed her eyes at Shane as he spoke of more meta-humans, and she quietly said, "But our powers seem to be at a different level than many of the meta humans you are referring to."
She slid off the counter, sighing before venting what had been bothering her since Shane had started talking about their conditions, "I will go look for Ako. I'll leave y'all be. Personally, I don't feel like sitting around here, hearing 'meta-human' this and 'meta-human' that. Because you are Gidget's brother, I will trust you, but I don't necessarily trust your colleagues."

"Yeah, it's okay. I'm fine." She ran her hand through her hair as she smiled somewhat at the young girl. Tansy sighed deeply. "No.. I'm not fine......" She bit onto her lip and blinked a few times. "But it's okay." She looked to her. "Don't worry to much about me. K?"

Shane smiles at Annie, "I hope I can change your mind about them, but I'm glad to hear that you trust me at least. I'm sorry if I offended you earlier. I'd just hate to see Gidget cry because something happened to one of you."
Gidget walks over to Tansy and looks up into her eyes, "You're worried about your sister aren't you? Why don't you go see her, let her know that you're alive?"

Annie shrugged, "Yes, well, it is better to confront something head on then go into hiding. I've already missed probably a few of my classes and some time at work because of Mr. Ray. I don't like sitting around waiting and/or doing nothing, it isn't my style."
Entering the living room she slid on her boots, sighing as she noticed the speckling of blood on them- she had saved her paycheck for three months to get them. Opening the door outside of Shane's place she stepped into the hall way noticing a few students had finally gotten up and were milling in the hallway.

"Gidget..... If you're brother died.... And then came back two months later, wouldn't you freak out? ..... Not given our current situation I'd guess not... but I don't think it's that simple... I can't just waltz right in. Besides, I can't put her in danger.... It's bad enough Mr. Ray pratically owns this city.... I'm just worried he'll find her and use that against us... Our families... He could do whatever he wanted to me as long as he left my sister alone...." She sighed. "It's better this way...."

Gidget balls up her hands and stresses, "That's all the more reason for you to find her. Tansy, he knew your whole name. He knows you have a sister because he read your mind to find your fears. Where does she live, maybe we could have the police look after her so nothing happens if you're not going to let her know you're okay. You don't even have to walk right in on her, we could do it slowly so she doesn't freak out so badly."

She sighed. "I guess you're right..... But can we trust the police?" She raised a brow as she turned to look at her. "I mean, are we sure that Mr. Ray doesn't have his claws there too?" She tilted her head to the side. "Maybe... Because I can see her... I could.. you know.. talk to her... Oh, never mind. OI doubt it. I don't think I have that kind of power....." She sighed and stood up. "You know, you're right.. I'm sorry I'm being so dramatic..."

Growling under her breath, Lilith walked back into the bedroom and looked over the damage. Nothing seemed to be missing... not that she kept much in the bedroom these days. She had been sleeping out on the couch for the last week and a half. She lifted up the mattress and grabbed the roll of money she still had left from the life insurance that her sister had bought on both of them.
Lilith had though it was a stupid idea. But she was glad now that she had. She had been able to pay off the rent for a year, and keep food in the fridge. But it wasn't going to last forever... And Lilith knew she needed a job. Once the money ran out anyways...
And now she needed to fix the window. Because she knew if she left it up to the manager it would never be fixed. She grabbed her book bag and left out the front door.

She shut the door behind her and leaned against the door taking a deep breath and running her hand through her damp hair. Smiling at herself she thought, 'God, I look like I have the Walk of Shame from Hell...' Smiling she noticed a student who was looking at her oddly, and she walked up to her, "Hey have you happened to see a tall guy... glasses, handsome in a awkward sort of way, a bit dusty with worn clothes... dark hair..."
The girl stared at her through her round glasses, "Uh..."
"You cain't miss him," she said.
"Yeah, he walked by with the adrenaline junkie," She said. "The pretty one who is totally loaded who looks like she'd kill you if you look at her wrong... Lily- Lily Stinson..."
"Thanks," Annie said, hugging the girl who stiffened. Letting the girl go she asked casually, "Do you know where they were headed?"
"If I tell you will you promise to leave me alone," answered the girl her eyes narrowed at Annie. Annie nodded innocently. "I heard they were heading to one of the local coffee shops..." Annie thanked the girl and hurried to the stairs and quickly ran down them. How like Ako to get picked up by some girl instead of worrying about the fact that an insane sociopath had just recently kidnapped all of them.
