"So you're stalking Kat then? She's out cold at the moment, but I'm sure she'd appreciate waking up on a comfy couch rather than on the floor after some keeper attack." Roxanna looked at Sam, and gave him a smile, "I assumed you were Sam. I'm Roxanna Corey. I'm sure you've heard stories of the exploding widow."

"Nah, ain't heard nothing, but I've been kinda out of it." Sam shrugged. "She like, psychic called us or somethin after these two had a big ol' fight, and she knew it was a trap and all that, but we couldn't let her get killed cause her and the coach have issues." Jeffery rolled his eyes. "We got some feedback from the bond left with her kiss. We should prolly get out of here soon."

"Issues?" Roxanna asked, glancing over to Jeffery. She nodded after a moment reaching the cars outside. "We should, and that is the plan. So are both of you officially involved then?"

Lou raised an eyebrow as Sam spoke.]
"You showed up when they were leaving. You didn't save anything."
Rook picked up Kat, before making way to Jarred's SUV.
"Marcus, where's a place we can take her where she can be seen to?"
"Hrmn... I have a condo building on the waterfront... We can take her there. I will have my doctor meet us there. I'll make something up... I'm sure telling him that we have an unconscious girl who gave a psychic kiss and passed out would sound strange." He said, looking for a pen and paper, "I will give you the address. Meet us there after you gather the rest of your team."

After the gunfire ceased, Olivia clumsily stomped out of a hallway closet, tangled in coats and hangers, "Who doesn't keep a baseball bat in their closet?"
Once she freed herself from the mass of winter gear, she smiled meekly and made her way to the rest of the group, rubbing her arm nervously, "Sorry..."

"You also weren't dealing with a case of beer goggles because of of some punk, either." Lou replied, following them out to the patio.
Rook stopped, waiting.
"I either need someone to drive, or keep an eye on her while I drive. She's stable, but I don't know what's wrong. I don't deal with psychics over much, and any help we can get her is good."

Roxanna glanced at Rook. "I think she'd be safer back at our own base, Rook. If anything, she's in no condition to be in the middle of a meeting."
Roxanna turned back to Jeffery and gave him an apologetic smile, "It seems to be the way of things. So do you intend to head home or travel with us?"

"We need to get her some kind of care. God knows what those supers were, or why Lincoln wanted his spy back. It's not impossible that they already know the location of our current safehouse... We need to get us out of there, and somewhere they don't know about right now."

"Your place it is then."
Jeffery glanced up at Rook. "Nice to see you aren't dead, I guess. What happened?" He motioned towards Kat.

Olivia caught up with the group, deciding to smoke one of her last two cigarettes as they discussed the plan.
"I just spent God knows how long in a coat closet, so I have no clue what just happened, but whatever needs done, I will help with. Just tell me where to go."

"Feedback, of some variety. We don't know. But, without her up, we've got some issue to deal with. We've got a rich guy with a black power that we can't verify, but, the possibility of them knowing where our safehouse is. We gotta get Jarred and Adam out of there, but, at the same time... Well, we can't exactly trust Marcus."
"What do you mean-"
"Kat's passed out before we could check you. We also had a bunch of really unfortunate events happen in your house."
"But that's not my fault!"
"When Kat wakes up, we'll get that squared away. What we need to do, is get Kat taken care of, and figure out what the hell is going on."

Roxanna let out a sigh, "Then where do we go, Rook?"
Roxanna glanced at Sam, not sure if the high schooler was hitting on her or not, and not sure how to react if he was.

((I think you missed Steube's post above yours, and Sam is totally hitting on her, but I don't think she'd know he was in highschool, would she? Granted, he might look young and act like an idiot, but yeah.))
