Illiana laughed excitedly. Zelos! She giggled and scrambled off her dads shoulder and sat her self comfortably in his lap. She watched in fascination as Aes took her dad's hand. She pointed to it and looked up at the three men. "Ouch."

"Mr. Ultima will be able to help you with the bruises and the salve- I know he's been eyeing my medications. But let me pop it back into your joint. I'll need you to keep an eye on Pale. Sleep is normal, but I'm still a little nervous. No stand with your back to the wall."

He rolled his eyes, pointing to his feet and the inability to stand. He just sat up on his knees and faced the wall, saying "All right. Ready..."

"Sorry, reflex" Aes said distantly. Then his face grew more concentrated. He got up and with one sharp movement shoved the joint and did not let up with the pressure until there was a muffled pop noise.

Jay grunted as he heard the pop and rotated his shoulder, saying "Ow..." He looked over to Illiana and crawled his way over to her so he could pick her up with both hands "Daddy's better now....well, almost" sweatdrop

Mr. Ultima must have been too tired. For a man in a wheelchair he had done exceptional service to Aes though. He fetched the jars of the main salves and two brushes, then sat in front of Mr. Kimache "raise your feet?"

Illiana looked at her dad's hand. She touched it and giggled slightly. "Better!" illiana watched as Aes lifted her dad's feet. She giggled again and squirmed her way into her dad's lap. "Better! Papa better!"

"Will do" He said as he set Illiana down and removed a charred sock, revealing the first foot which seemed to be a shade of dark red. It felt worse than it looked, which is why he chose to stay off of his feet.

Knowing the pressure of the brush would sting no matter what he did, Aes could only apply it very quickly to each foot, then draw back to see that the salve wasn't turning a funny color. "Now your shirt?"

Illiana's eyes grew big as she watched her dad pull off his sock. She turned to him in worry. "Ouch!" She snuggled against her dad and hugged him tightly, burying her face against his chest. "Big ouch."

Jay removed his cloak and set it aside, kneeling up once again so Aes could tend to the wounds with as little effort as possible.

"It's really not so bad, maybe some salve and a few days indoors, but it should heal as normally as a scarped knee." he applied the second salve in liberal amounts, then finished by coating it with a different one.

Ultima had indeed dozed out in his chair, half awake but slipping out of awareness and into a deeper sleep. If Jay woke him he would probably have to kill him.
