ElladanKenet @ Stellar- 4 billion for an Imp? Didn't they cost 3.88 billion? Ha, increased demand thanks to multiple factions! You expect me to sell em on the open market at the same price the Republic Government ordered em for?

In short, it's no longer a monosony, but an oligopolic market.

lady_skuld This is what a Republic Knight would look like. Up to Rodyn to decide which he wants more. Quote: Name: Oriss Anduli Age: 35 Gender: Female Species: Half - Mirialan Homeworld: Mirial Main weapon: Green Lightsaber Side weapon: None Affiliation: Republic Knight Occupation: Consular Rank: Knight Specialty: Soresu Personal Ship: Whatever the republic uses. Appearance: http://www.swagonline.net/node/3109 The black and white marks are her tatoos. http://sofie3387.deviantart.com/art/Imperial-knight-II-79893923 Armor is colored blue. Short History: Born to a mirialan mother and a human father, Oriss never knew the human side of her heritage. Like most jedi, she was taken away as an infant. Unlike her fellow students, she did get the chance to go back home every now and again because of her mirialan heritage, to learn the customs and perform feats. She was originally supposed to be the student of Luminara Unduli as a child, but was passed over for Bariss Offee instead. Oriss grew up under a different master, a human, and began learning about the human side of her lineage. Part of her few tatoos on her face comes from her master's influence, teaching her the jedi way instead of the mirialan way. By the time of the clone wars, she had just finished her trials of becoming a knight, although she tended to shun battle. She refused to go to Geonosis, claiming she was too inexperienced to jump right into a battlefield. As the war commenced, Oriss began to realize she would have to fight sooner or later. She decided to start working on solo operations, such as infiltration. While somewhat odd for a consular, her exceptional training in the force was actually beneficial in this case. She became quite good at fighting open palmed and using the lightsaber as a last resort. Several reports of her fighting bare handed were considered untrue, until Mace pulled the feat off on Dantooine. When the clone wars ended in armistice, Oriss sided with the Republic remnant over the jedi. Unlike most of her peers, she did not believe that the republic needed more protection or that the order was deserting. She joined because of the war, concerned that her peers in the Republic knights would be too influenced by Thome's personal agenda. She joined to keep an eye on her fellow soldiers and make sure they did not start a fight with the Order. Oriss still does not wish to teach new recruits, but is concerned that they might be learning incorrectly. Personal quote: "A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it. Now be still and listen." It works out with the Republic Knights. As for a personal ship, you'll probably be using an Eta-2 or any other Republic fighter. However, I don't want to push you into it.

By the way, I've been thinking about the Dark Acolytes. After Dooku's death, they continued to work with the CIS. But, after a while, they left one-by-one and are now traversing the galaxy as wannabe Sith. So if anyone wants to beat down on some false Sith, that's your chance.
However, I'm not sure what their numbers would be.

Not many. The Dark Acolytes were never large in number, due to the rule of two. but Asajj would still be someone to contest when she recovers... but with dooku dead, palps dead, vader not a concern, whos' really left to teach an apprentice?
Although, the prime concern with the republic knight is figuring out something to do. Unlike the jedi, who can traverse anywhere without impediment, the republic knights are like the sector rangers of the republic. I wonder if we should design the knights like how we set up the IKs, with page/knight/lord setup

The imperial knights under fel were like the equiavelent of the elite royal guard except they had jurisdiction wherever the empire existed. This incarnation, the republic knight, will have some serious problems to overcome though.
1) unlike the imperial knights, who had the entire imperium behind them, the republic is weak, meaning they can't simply throw their weight wherever they choose. They'll have to follow treaties and boundaries far more than before.
2) Also, their leader is not the emperer, but a jedi breakoff, who also happens to report to the senate. Unlike Fel, who could aquiest resources as he saw fit on a whim, the republic senate is slower to spend funding and also, such as with the case of my character, not necessarily completely sold on the idea of the repulbic knight and instead impede funding.
3) Unlike the imperial knights, who cared not for the light or dark, just the emperor, the republic knights are all former jedi; msot of these are going to be those who follow thome, or simply don't like the jedi, thereby having a much more difficult time being singleminded. Most are probably conflicted, and still trying to learn how things work.

Well, apprentice she may be, Ventress was still a hell of a foe and I assume she would take up the mantle of Dark Lord of the Sith out of arrogance at least.

Actually, the IKs were light-siders. Their code had it that they ultimately served the force, by serving the Emperor, but if he should turn to the Darkside, it was their duty to convert him or strike him down.

Tell that To Drako, who beleived that they could control the dark side artifacts.

Who?
And I'd rather stay as a jedi if at all possible. But I still want that V-19 for a personal ship.
