"Inception" is up for a Golden Globe. I liked that movie for the collapsing buildings AND the dream theme.

3nodding If I had to explain the unusualness of a persons dreams I would say "Watch Inception" it is perhaps the best annalogy for a persons dreams as far as the unperdictiveness of what can happen in a dream.
And as well, it is also a good annalogy for people who can control what they dream because when you control a dream you are in you can do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carlos Castaneda wrote about "lucid dreaming" in his first book. Yup it must take amazing mind control to do that kind of dreaming.

I am not sure it is complete control exactly, its like you are in the dream and you are sugesting that something happen like you are a Director of a movie.
Ive only ever actually had something not happen when I wanted it to in a dream when it was something my mind considered Taboo, or against what I would consider correct or right.
But then every now and again I have dreams without any control what-so-ever and they are usually the ones that seem like I am living another life in some other place (The ones Ive mentioned before, that are like past-lifes.)
Black Swan? Sounds pretty, whats it about?

True you should go see Black Swan, then come back and tell us all about it.
Giesta do your dreams ever give you answers to questions or solutions to problems? It's happened to me a few times. Especially if I write the issue on an index card and slip it under my pillow. I should do it more often, now that you remind me of it.

3nodding If you get the chance True let us know what the movies like. ^8^
That is a neat idea Harvey, I have had my dreams tell me answers to somethings.
I have even had a dream that I am convinced made me confindent to get over my fear of swimming when I was a lot younger. ^8^

That's some awesome dream that helped get over a fear. Swimming is one of life's pleasures. I grew up on the coast. I don't remember a time when I didn't swim... or doggie paddle at least. It always surprises me when someone says they don't know how to swim

I used to have the dream for the longest time that I was in the middle of the ocean or a extremely large body of water I could see completely acroos and I would be struggling to swim and would go under and then wake-up gasping for air.
Then finally one day I was having the same reacurring dream and this time I remembered what my Mom had told me about Doggie Paddling and then started to do so in the dream and as soon as I did I was for the most part over my fear oif swimming.

That's fantastic how you used doggie paddle in your dream. The great thing about doggie paddle is anyone can do it and it works to keep your head above water.

It maybe one of the earliest times I can remember being in a dream and having some control over what happened in it. 3nodding
It does keep your head out of the water indeed. 3nodding
