On his way to Treebend Relgan heard a commotion coming from a cave he set down the rabbit and walked towards the cave. It was dark so he used his fire blade as a torch to light his way.

[[heheh time to REALLY piss of Roth... twisted ]]
"No." Ranquebus whispered dangerously with a smirk, his eyes reflecting golden light in the darkness of the cave. Lifted by a breeze, he hovered behind Vivian's half-naked body and wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning his chin on her shoulder as she was frozen by the wind tearing apart the air around her. "Does this enrage you, human? Does this send your blood into a boil?" Ranquebus lazily licked Vivian's cheek, staining his pale face with her blood. "Mmm," he groaned enthusiastically. "I bet you'd like a taste too, eh human?" Lightly placing kisses on her tattered cheek, Ranquebus drew one of his swords with his free hand. Gleaming in the darkness, the blade began to hum softly as Ranquebus looked towards Roth with a sneer. "Come and get some, my little human..."
[[lol... if this doesn't make your blood boil enough, tell me and i'll add some more details wink ]]
Dealthi paused. Sniffing the air, he could sense filthy magic staining the previously clean breeze. Ranquebus, he thought bitterly. Staining your winds with blood again, are you? I won't have that on my lands... "Go home, Purity. I'll be right along shortly." Whickering in concern, the horse nonetheless obeyed the command of her master. Pacing slowly back towards the cave that now oozed with corruption, Dealthi frowned.
[[btw firestorm you're gonna have to fly there like ranquebus did... the cave's on the other side of the mountains...]]

[[no... the mountain range divides the Kujin empire from the Tyan one, and there's a forest on the Kujin side. The cave faces the Tyan side, which is how Dealthi got to see Vivian, and why Ranquebus had to fly over the mountain range to get to the cave from Treebend...]]

((ugh fine -_-))
Relgan came to a dead end in the cave but could hear raging winds coming from the other side of them mountain. "Could it be..." He asked himself and ran out of the cave. Using both the wind and earth blade he launched himself over the mountain using both a rock pillar that launched him and the wind to keep him going. He came to a gentle landing and saw a fight in a cave.

The veins in Roth's temples pulsed madly. At first Roth was where he made his first appearance, in an instant not only was he behind the demon but he also had Vivian in his arms. "That was uneccesary..." Roth growled, placing Vivian's unconcious form on the ground behind him. "If you do not believe in fairness, fine. Then I wont either..." Roth stood with his staff infront of him giving a mocking glare.
((OOC: You play the part of the villian a little too well. I'm actually a little irked at you personally now.))

[[irked at me for making Ranquebus a disgusting s.o.b.? mm I'm just trying to give u a sense of his character. but if you'd like me to stop, just say so ]]
"Human," Ranquebus chuckled quietly. "I've lost my sense of justice in this world ages ago." Drawing his other sword, the air pressure in the cave suddenly increased to a colossal amount, Ranquebus approached Roth's standing figure. "This is the only path for me..." Whirls of dust began to rise in his foot steps, a ghostly trail following the golden demon. "I offered you a choice. You have refused it. My winds howl for your blood now." Shards of rock fled from his path, skittering along the ground before embedding themselves in the sides of the cave. "Show me your fortitude so that I may grind it away, human..."

"So wind is my enemy for the time being." Roth said to himself. "Not the first time either." Roth spun his staff next to him as he walked towards the demon. "So General Ranquebus... Care to take the first stike?"
((OOC: You did great with the whole character sense, he just weirds me out... By the way, Ra-ezelle's crashing at my place for a while so we're just going to post using each other's accounts.))

"The first? How about the last!" Striking his blades together in a shower of sparks, Ranquebus smiled. Howl, Wind of the Ancient Marsh. As a ghostly echo filled the cavern, a slight breeze drifted in. Suddenly, the smell of pure rot filled the cave, corruption and decay that had remained undisturbed for almost all eternity, now pervaded the entire atmosphere. As the wind and the stench grew, the wind caught on fire from the sparks on Ranquebus's golden blades, and he continued forward, bathed in a wall of fire. As the wind moaned for blood, the fire roared in hunger as it stormed at Roth. The last sight he saw was Ranquebus's laughing face before a sea of ghostly flame filled his vision.

Roth cried out in agony as his flesh began to melt away and his vision fade. Ah great. He thought in the dark. He killed me. Mental note: Think you morron! Roth stood once more behind Ranquebus, leaning on his staff. "I have to give you credit! You actually killed me!"

Ranquebus licked his lips, chuckling. "Yes, it would appear that way." He sheathed his blades and leaned against the cave wall as the ghostly fires died out. "So, are you going to try and return the favor, or just stand there wasting your breath?" Taking a sideways glance at Vivian's body lying prone on the ground beside them, he smirked at Roth. Blow, Wind of the Highest Peak. The leaves at the mouth of the cave rustled in fear, as the stench of decay was soon cleansed from the cave, replaced by the clean, crisp smell of untouched snow.

Roth shrugged. "I'm honestly not much of a fighter. But why not?" Roth spun his staff as he vanished and reappeard instantly at Ranquebus's side, striking out with the steel tipped end of his staff.

As the tip deflected off of the golden armor with a bright ringing sound, Ranquebus shrugged back. "Is that honestly all you can do?" He looked back towards the mouth of the cave and curled his lips. "He's coming." Flying over to an unconscious Vivian, Ranquebus gently picked her unmoving body up and slung her over a shoulder. "Once he gets here, he's going to spoil all my fun," he pouted slightly. "But I'm not going to let him, this time." Smiling back at Roth, the demon sneered. "Stop me if you can."

Roth swore under his breath there honestly wasn't much he could do directly at this point. But there was one thing. "I'm guessing you're worried about Dealthi at the moment. Don't blame you, he could kill you no problem." Roth walked lazily over to the discarded daggers laying on the ground. After picking them up he placed them in his belt. "If you haven't realized, stopping you won't really be a problem for me. I've done it before." Wait... Has that happened yet? "In any case, what do you plan on doing with Vivian there?"
