"Yeah, pelicans will be landing shortly, gotta load up some gear then head back up." He replied, starting to walk away from where he had orginally been standing, but making sure he was not an open target doing so.
((ok lets just say i gathered up 24 more soldiers, most of them being ODSTs))
The group gathered at the LZ, awaiting patiently for the Pelicans to arrive.

He looked at all the bodys laying dead around him. It was sadning, but nessisery. He looked up as the ring world corved over his head. It was majestic and eerie. Oh well, he was getting ready to be lifted off it.

All about the Butte, now formally known as 'The Silent Cartographer,' Marines hustled about. Bodies were being moved to the LZ awaiting transport back up to the Armengald, and the wounded were also doing the same. Amongst the cluttered mess of equipment that was to be sent back up to the Armengald as well, the young Lieutenant sat calmly. His eyes fast shut. Everyone else knew their orders, so no point in wasting his breath on things people are knew they were supposed to do. His group of 25, mostly ODSTs, sat around waiting as well for the pick up.
Twombley's mind was still racing as he waited as well. He was thinking about the ride back up, hoping the covenant wouldnt catch on and try to knock them out of the sky. He still wondered whether or not he should being bringing the SPARTAN, Kristi, back up to the Armengald too. Her actions earlier were questionable to him. But he let it go, for now. The roar of Pelican engines started to fill his head, his eyes opening once again. Standing up, along with the other soldiers, he looked up at the sky, seeing the black dots of the pelicans coming. Without a pause, he began to bark orders, "Alright people! birds are almost here, make sure you've all you need and help load up the equipment before loading onto a bird." Everyone began to move with purpose again.

Kristi signalled to Jenkins as she was ready to head out and yelled over to Mathias, "Hey! Mathias! Not to sound rude but what it looks like there wont be anyone in charge here!', she looked at Mathias and turned on a private link between them again, -am.... I in charge when you guys dustoff Mathias?-

((I have not submited a list of people to come up yet to any of the CO's. SO we do not know who is going up yet. I'll have a finalized list submited soon.))

Drake was helping carry the injured to the dust-off area so they could go back to the Armengald or the Titan or wherever they were going.
