And now there was drama…child drama over fashion apparently as Krymsym pretty much threw a fit over what Lhia was wearing. Though she did raise an eyebrow over her self description category. He quietly watched the exchange, probably more from mild shock over the explosion like tantrum, and then blink as Lhia came back out in something she certinally wouldn’t pick out for herself. In fact it made him flush a little.

She was wearing a green filmy material that barely kept her modest and covered in the public appropriate places, as was the way with what most obsidians, and a few more flaunting surface elves, wore. It split straight down the front, save for the gathering of cloth in the front at her hip line accented with an emerald in a gold setting that looked like a dragon was holding onto it. From there it was left to flow and split as much as it wanted to past her ankles so it trailed the floor a little. It was sleeveless and the neckline rose up to clasp around her neck in collar like fashion, secured with the same gem holding dragon, save smaller. When she obligatory spun, it showed that her back was bare right down to the small of her back.

Oh yes he was indeed flushing with a little boyish grin tugging at the corner of his mouth as he more or less stared at her. That and he was speechless. Broog broke his silence though and he flushed a little deeper as he pointed out the obvious and Tyyrael rubbed at the back of his neck trying to soothe the sudden heat some. “Yes Broog. That would be the word.”

Lhia was miserable and embarrassed. She knew exactly what they were thinking and was quite grateful that neither of them had said it. The look in the little elf's eyes said it all: she didn't look half as good as Krymsyn did. A glance up at Ty confirmed it, too. He was embarrassed for her, so embarrassed he didn't quite know what to say. Her cheeks flushed even hotter and tears of resentment stung her eyes. "I hope you're happy," she said quietly to Krymsyn before hurrying from the room. Krymsyn could have the males' attention; she didn't want it.

Pleased that she had indeed looked much better than the older woman, Krymsyn turned to glance at Ty and her smile disappeared. She recognized the gleam in his eye and didn't like it one bit. It wasn't supposed to go that way! Ty wasn't supposed to like it at all! Crossing her arms, she plopped down next to Trys with a huff.

He'd stayed purposefully quiet through the whole thing but he shook his head. "I told you not to. It always backfires on you."

And bad to worse happened. Giving a sigh he got himself up and turned a look to the ogre. "Broog, watch them for me." Following after Lhia and making plans in his head on how exactly to soothe her since she was obviously so upset. Coming up behind her he laced his arms around her waist and pulled her back up against him, pressing a kiss to her neck. "Come now, don't be upset."

It took every ounce of control she had not to break down into strangled sobs once she hit the bedroom. She'd have yanked the dress off immediately but Ty stopped her. "She made a fool out of me, Ty, and she did it on purpose. I shouldn't have given in..." Shaking her head and wiping the small traces of tears from her eyes. She would not cry! She would not give Krymsyn the satisfaction.

He was finding himself more and more confused by her behavior when it came to her looks. She never used to be like this and they had known each other for over a millenium now. "Why do you think she made a fool out of you?" Lhia didn't trust words over actions but sometime words were indeed needed before the actions.

She was quiet for a while, standing there woodenly and trying to maintain control. But eventually that control broke and she let out a single sob then bit her fist to keep anymore from escaping. When she had herself back under control, she sighed. "We both know that's exactly what she wanted. She wanted to be the star of the show and the only way she could do that was if I looked awful. I almost wish I was younger...I would have outshone her without any effort."

Turning her around he took her fist away from her face, pressing a light kiss to her hand before just holding onto it and watching her as she processed everything. "I don't think you look awful...and I think that you did outshine her. Maybe it's just me...but seeing a child dressed in such fashion and thinking it looks anything but awful on her wouldn't make me a very good person. She's a cute little girl yes, but only when dressed for her age. Sea elf children wear more than she does and they hate clothes."

Brushing a thumb over her cheeks lightly and tilting her head up some so she would look at him. "Come now, I haven't felt my blood heat like that...well ever." Chuckling lightly more about himself than anything. "There's no need to be upset about it all. Krymsyn just thinks that she knows what she's doing and how to win."

"She thinks she's older than she is. A lot of that is because of her mother." Shaking her head and lifting a hand to his cheek. "That's really sweet of you to say, Ty, but you don't have to lie to me." Pulling away, she walked over to the mirror and studied herself for a moment. "I can see myself and I know exactly what you were thinking. The truth is that I've lost it somewhere along the way and I don't know how to get it back." She frowned at those parts of her that she thought looked particularly bad and shrugged. "Or maybe I can't ever get it back. If anything, I know I can't pull off looks like these very well. I'd be better off leaving it to the young ones around Vale's age. Wouldn't he just die if he could see me now...?" and probably be completely horrified.

Yup, this was going to have to be done the hands on way wasn't it? Walking over to stand behind her and watch her in the mirror as she watched herself a moment before placing his hands on her hips. "Oh, so you're phsyic now? I didn't know you possesed that talent. That you can peer into my and tell me what I think about this dress."

Sliding his hands up her sides before back down and rounding them over her hips before letting his finger tips trace the edges of her dress. "What I think about here where it drops from your throat, leaving nothing to the imagination as it travels down your curves." More or less letting his hands and a mirror do the talking for him as she was watching.

"How it gathers right here," tapping the dragon clasp at her hips and giving a chuckle, "And so very poetic like a dragon guards some of the greatest treasures that is know to mortal men." Letting his fingers trail the dress edging again before letting a hand smooth over her thigh as he brushed the fabric back some. "How it offers no sense of protection yet speaks all of its own, brining perhaps an even better power."

Letting his hands come back up over her hips to the small of her back and brushing his hands up her spine lightly. "A dress made for someone who knows who she is and what she can do." Resting his hands on her shoulders again lightly.

She didn't want to do this...couldn't bear to see the look in his eyes that had been in Galesen's. Galesen hadn't meant half of what Ty did to her. Her breath caught at his gentle touches as heat slid deliciously through her. "Sagging curves..." But he evidently wasn't finished yet and her head dropped back of its own accord though her eyes stayed glued to the mirror. There was something unbelievably erotic about watching him trace her body as his compliments hummed through her blood. Tingles slid from his fingertips, racing over her skin, and withdrawing a soft moanlike sigh from her slightly parted lips.

"A she who is bold and daring and craves excitement and passion regardless of the consequences. A she who isn't afraid to strut half naked, knows what she wants and goes after it. Turning away from the image of the woman in the mirror. "That's not really me, Ty. I'm more timid and reserved and I can't wear this sort of thing anywhere really... But you deserve someone like that. I always pictured you with someone like that."

Since when was she one to have body images? Of course no one held up as they always had when they were young, even elves. Especially ones like that that beat their bodies to the brink in duty and service. However he took a step back from her like she had just slapped him across the face, frowning lightly at her words.

Opening his mouth to say something he stopped an rubbed at the back of his neck like he usually did when he was feeling stressed. "And you don't believe you're that someone at all. Me around or not." He turned his back on her a moment and paced a few steps back and forth. "What's gotten into you? You were never like this."

Turning back to the mirror for a moment, she used her fists to boost her cleavage back up to where it should be then let that fall and picked at the excess skin on her otherwise flat tummy. Hmm, her thighs were kind of pudgy, too. "That's not really for me to say, Ty. If you think I am then that's all that matters. I just personally don't." Frowning at her reflection once more before leaning on the dresser and sighing. "I never had to be concerned with the way I looked before. Men either liked me or didn't, yet they always seemed to like what they saw. But I never had one toss me aside because someone looked better than I did either. Or maybe I was just naive and it's been happening all along."

"Save my words have little weight with you." And now he was just confused. "What in the name of the Pantheon are you even talking about Lhia? What's changed?" Confused indeed was the best way he could describe things right now.

He looked rather upset and she almost felt bad for confusing and upsetting him. Leaving the mirror before she could obsess about the way she looked, she strolled over to the bed and settled down on it on her side, a position that would have aroused interest in her companion when she was younger. "Ty, I appreciate you trying. Really, I do. But you don't have to. I'm okay with being old and...well, let's leave it as not as pretty as I used to be. Time hasn't exactly been kind to me like it has to you. Galesen just opened my eyes to my...imperfections, that's all."

Broog plopped down in front of the two kids, and watched them like he was told to...just basically staring at them both. looking back and forth between them not saying or doing much of anything else. not liek they had anything to really talk about, anyway.
