Just joined yesterday or two days ago.
Friend of mine got me to download 12.3, and I've been quite addicted to it since. Have to say, I like Yukari and Sakuya a lot.
...Though I wish Chen was actually playable.

The topics created by Reisen and Marrionette inspired me to attempt a cosplay with my extra account. The results as you can see is cheap looking, which makes sense since I am cheap...and poor...and lazy. Not sure if I will actually do anything with this account, maybe I will just every now and again drop in to do a "surprise" visit. welcome, moe umbrella.

Sorry, another late "welcome to the guild".
Hmm, if I had to guess, I would say the body measurements of a karakasa is 1-1-1. At least that tends to be the measurements of the umbrellas I own.
*Nods* Jackie Chen is the only one who could compare to Hong Meiling as a martial artist.

I never even thought of looking for a touhou guild for some reason. Well, here I am.
I found out about Touhou somewhere in april 2009. I've been playing it ever since, nearly every day.
I can also officially say that I learned about touhou from nintendonut888 himself from high school. (yeah, I actually know him very well, lucky me!)
I don't know why I like touhou a lot. Maybe it's the music? ... I don't know.
I'm thinking of changing my user name to the one below that's linked to youtube btw.

Welcome to the guild. So is your friend nuts about nintendo, or the child of a classic gaming system and a tasty pastry? I would offer to play IaMP with you, however I really suck, and it usualy ends up my ego taking as much of a beating as which ever character I am playing. Tsuki no Inaba i'm curious. why no pet yukkuris, and what's with the aya hate? i don't especially love aya, but between here and the walfas club on deviantart, i'm beginning to think i'm the only touhou fan i know that doesn't hate aya. Its for your safety...those things are evil... I like Aya. I think suppa tenko is just mad cause as an exhibitionist she would rather be the one showing off her self, rather then photos being distributed. its a shame really, you would think a peeping tom and a flasher would be natural friends.

But yea, I never understood the Aya hate either. Maybe it has to do with the fact that most Gensokyo humans tend to look down upon the mountain tengus, but I have no idea.

I don't actually know why he chose that name to begin with. And it took me till this summer to realize it was him. Shrinemaiden chatting with him helped me discover that. Yeah, and about IaMP, I suck at it too. Had it for about a week now and beaten easy with every character. (as of today) I just set up internet connection with it today and watched other people play. O.O They are good! Too bad the controls are erratic in this game. sad Nintendonut is actually better than you think he is from his vids. He's already capped every spell card in every game. I wish I was like him.

I got into Touhou when one day my youtube recommended for had Yuka's theme Gensokyo, Past and Present ~ Flower Land i checked it out just to see the image on the video and well i got hooked. I started finding a bunch of different Touhou theme songs till i googled it and found the wiki and pretty much became a huge fan in a matter of few days. It's funny when i first read that all the games mostly have a female cast i truly thought i would hate it expecting the typically cute girl girls that can can fight as far as the can throw each other, but boy was i wrong XD. I guess what i liked the most about it is a game that shows female characters in a positive light breaking away from the mold of a female characters ether being pretty and unless or sexy but a b***h.

Feel free to call yourself lucky. Much like most of the fandom, I got into Touhou thanks to the infamous and shitty Ronald McDonald Insanity and Marisa Stole the Precious Thing videos. Well, Touhou has a bit of everything. True, we have well thought-out characters, such as Mokou or Aya, but there's also, eh... you know... *points at Cirno*
