She looked up at Tibarn and smiled. "It's nice to see you too, Tibarn. Leander did take me, but it was a complete misunderstanding... It's hard to explain. But I think there's something else going on here. Anyway, I'm going to prepare a room for Leander and then take a rest myself... I barely slept last night. She walked into a guest room and began to get everything ready for Leander. "He's really nice." She yelled from the next room. "And he's a great cook."

Ed wagged her tail upon seeing Nino. However, it seemed to her that Nino had not been in danger in the first place, so the wolf yawned and stretched boredly before glancing toward the door. She'd seen Soren leave not too long ago, although she hadn't been awake for the monster attacks. Ed had assumed he was out for a walk.
She trotted to the door, wagging her tail at people.

"Let Nino rest... she had a long, cold night," Leander sighed, sitting down and reaching down around the arm rest of the seat he had chosen to scritch between Ed's ears. Yipe! Cold, cold fingers! "It's... a very long story," he said doubtfully. "If you want to hear it all, that is. And understand it. The short story is that I mistook Nino for someone... someone I knew a very, very long time ago..." He sat back, his eyes growing misty.

Yipe indeed! The wolf jolted slightly, but she listened to the ice king and understood that, by his tone of voice, he was no hostile. She decided to ignore his cold touch and let him do as he was at the moment. She'd run off when her head grew too cold to accommodate.

Groaning, the boy stretched, reaching up to work at a kink in his shoulder, when suddenly he froze. He'd been in the corner of the room, out cold, and had been over looked for some time. What had he missed...And why were things suddenly making him shiver? There was a tentative feel to the air as he peered about himself, unsure of what had passed. 」

Upon Leander's arrival, Rhys had gone from lazy good-for-nothing on the couch to heap on the floor, for in his attempt to jump off the couch and bring up his Light tome for a likely fight, his right leg swung his robes a bit too far, sending him spinning off the couch to the ground.
A few seconds clear, it seemed as though the icy ex-king wasn't interested in freezing people to death. In fact, he now seemed... sad. The fireplace itself had gone from a nice roar to a low whimper, as though to mimic the former king's mood.
First Siegell, now Leander here. It'd be a heartwarming Christmas tale--two men realizing the meaning of compassion, or perhaps one learning compassion and the other learning his surroundings--but what about the monsters? Didn't he have something to do with them?

(somewhat time warp, I guess here, but oh well)
There was a loud bang at the door, followed by another. On the third bang, the manor doors burst open, and Vaida trotted in, followed be Tori, who was carrying a kid on her back. Vaida yelled loudly to get somebody's attention.
"HEY! Anybody home? Way to let everything go to the ice equivalent of hell,while I'm gone!!"
Vaida turned to Tori. "Tori, take the boy to the medical area and do what you have to do. But I want you back as soon as possible. Oh, and close the door. It's freezing! Now get!"
She then walked further into the manor, to look for anybody who might be around. (this is assuming you all aren't still at the front door, anymore)

Tibarn looked up sharply at Vaida's sudden entrance, and scowled a bit. "Come on in. I think we're about to get a proper explanation for all this. Let's hope we can get this all sorted out and enjoy the rest of the holidays," he added, muttering and huddling close to Ayra, his fight with her forgotten in all the chaos.
"Frankly," the Hawk King added to Older!Soren, "I haven't a clue. Leander caused all this trouble and is here, now, and presumably is about to tell us what this was all about." He gestured to the Ice Sage with a soft sigh.
