Seeing the bodies again, he grew serious. "Listen, some guy - and when I say guy, I mean <******** monster - just infiltrated and broke out of TEAM HQ. We shot him God knows how many times, and he's still kicking. Hard.

"Oh, we've been waiting for years for someone to screw up. The NYPD has known about TEAM for a long time, and you must be a new recruit. I heard they practically flushed out their roster. Dunno just why yet.

"We have to talk to someone," Gurlovich shrugged. "There are officers in the NYPD who know. There are people everywhere who know, and they're basically TEAM employees without all the TEAM member benefits, including a heated pool."

"The janitors around here have more stomach for blood than some of the soldiers," Gurlovich laughed. He was turning over the bodies with his foot, checking on who they were and that they were really dead, then trying CPR. He managed to revive one. "Try a few others, eh?"

He went to touch the man and - holy crap, he was moving! He had checked his pulse a minute ago and he was dead.
"Ah, that's always fun," the man said, stretching out. This was surprising.

"That's different," Gurlovich told Lito grimly. "Serkhov is... strange. Most of his bones are fractured too much to heal, and they're held together by his muscles. He endures the pain by being constantly on drugs. Very similar to what this guy has in him, but instead of inducing a coma, it induces something very similar to a steroid rage, since it's very similar to a steroid in many ways. Basically, when his life is threatened, he can change his facial structure, take way more shots than any human can, and come off of it without suffering too badly from wounds taken during it. He's a beast."
