Zant looked down at his cards and smiled. He had a seven and a three. He decided that those cards were not enough,
"Hit me" He said

Blackjack gave him a card as he said it, with a three second pause, and looked to her cards to see a nine and an eight.

As Blackjack slapped another card, which was a 10, Zant smiled and held up his hand,
"I'm good" He told her and flipped his crads over revealing 20

Blackjack inspected this and nodded then. She had 17 as it were. Then she nodded again silently. She heard a shrill noise quite suddenly and ducked under the table frighteningly. She could be quite fast at movement sometimes. Both hands were clasped over her ears as she shut her eyes and lay in a ball. It was a bell that was nowhere in sight but in her head from a program she had if she got too content. This was the life where she learned how to play black jack, the last one she had before now.

Zant jumped when Blackjack moved so quickly and rushed to her side,
"Hey are you okay?" He asked her as he put one hand on her back

Blackjack's eyes shut and she fell limb on the floor in a ball. She was still active, but she was the eqivilent of a human faint. She's been and more like a human nature and not a machine's. Asher eyes shut, she looked a bit frightened. As the little girl's innocence she had, she was more like a child than an adult, but was a bit like an adult. She also looked in terrible pain. It was like his hand on her back brought her to shut her eyes and cringe at things that did not involve her.

Zant didn't understand what was going on, but he moved her to the technology room and remembered reading somewhere that personicons needed to be charged at times. Maybe her batteries were low. So he looked for a cord and then touched her ear, which opened revealing a cord. He smiled and plugged her in, letting her charge,
"Hopefully this was the problem" He thought

Blackjack uncoiled herself as he charged her, indeed her battery was low from her last use as the casino owner's 'wife', and looked a bit more peaceful. But she did not look much peaceful. Her latest of three years, a chip that would not allow her to be completely happy and rang a bell in her head to make her go to a human faint and cover her ears, was what stopped her from being who she could be. The last owner did that to remain sane from her happiness. He was never a happy man. Like a human, she began mumbling. "I... N-No... Want to be happy... Mphh..." She said.

Zant looked worried as, Blackjack began to mumble in her sleep, or whatever you call it,
"i'll take her to a personicon specialist tomorrow" He said quietly

"Memory... Give it back, give it back!...." Blackjack then slumped forward and landed with her head on Zant's shoulder and her body close to his. A smile flicked her lips. "Warm.... Annie...." At this, she sounded sad. "Annie, Annie..." Then she shrieked aloud and woke instantly, hugging him close like the waking of a nightmare. She was back to herself again. She was whimpering and shaking terribly. And she was crying. "Zant. Zant." She said to herself, as if to calm herself.

Blackjack remembered those words from a flashback she just got from a little girl, who she knew rto be named Annie now from her nightmare. It was the sickly little girl. Her father, Annie's father, an evil man, tried to stop that, and shut her down. She just saw a brief flashback of it, but did not know why. Did she die, get better and not be needed of ehr anymore, o... Was it something else? Npw she felt some happiness, and was glad for Zant to be there. Now she assumed she depended on him, but had no clue why so soon. It was good... Right?
Her tears stopped, and her red eyes looked very wet from crying. Made like a human, she dried the wet on her face from them. "Thank you." She said softly. It was almost like a human would say it.

Zant simply smiled and helped Blackjack to her feet and then looked at the cards and back to Blackjack,
"Do you want to continue playing or would you rather do something else?" He asked her

Blackjack looked to him and then looked away in a bit of shame for what just happened and she had no idea of. "S-Something else. You choose, Zant." She said, now with a full vocabulary, finally.
