"I'm here," Zayne said in a whisper, holding Amaranth closer to himself. His hand stroked the back of her hair as he held her, the fear intensifying within him. He didn't want to lose her. Never ever did he want to lose her...
Renata held Daniel with her bright gold eyes shining. She looked almost like an angel herself with gold hopeful eyes, soft olive shaded skin. Black hair laying down her back and an aura of such glowing intensity. All she was missing was the white wings, which, there seemed to be plenty of falling from the ceiling above. Daniel... get better... she prayed silently, her head bowed momentarily. As Synthic finished pouring the substance down Daniel's throat, she rose steadily. She had a mission and nothing was going to stop her. Kir.... He was caught up in this mess too wasn't he? She would do what she could so no one would lose him. No one would have to fear the end. It didn't feel like an end, but she had to make sure. Make sure she did everything to make sure it wasn't.

Synthic just sat there, watching Daniel's reaction just in case something went wrong, "I got to stay here with this one," She said.
Amaranth flinched when she felt Renata moving. She lifted herself up and clutched onto Zayne's chest, still trembling from an inner force trying to pry herself away from a normal life, "Renata...Where are you going...?" She asked between pouts of shivers.

He grabbed the bucket he had been coughing blood into with his teeth and dragged it to a corner of the room, trying to get as far away from her as possible. Once more he began coughing violently all of a sudden, unleashing a torrent of blood into the bucket. After the coughing subsided, he groaned and slid down onto his stomach, covering his head with his paws. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

Renata glanced side ways at Amaranth and her brother clutching each other surrounded by a holy light. Poor Durihill, made him sick. But she had no time to worry about any of that. "Going to make sure this world won't ever end like this," she said firmly, her voice dancing like many flaming butterflies.
Zayne shook his head, "Ren just-... there is nothing we can do so just," he shook his head not wanting to say it. He wanted to be surrounded by everyone he loved. He had Amaranth and Ren here, but Vivian was far off. She would be surrounded by good things though among the fall of this world... He didn't want Ren to walk out at a time like this.

Amaranth looked pained at Renata's answer, but she nodded, "...I'll go with you...I need to make sure Kir didn't go too," She said.

Zayne wanted to hold onto Amaranth tighter, not wanting her to leave even more so. He couldn't let her go. Couldn't lose her like this. Holding onto the Angel's hand, he looked up. "Where you go, I go," was all he could bring himself to say, the fear to prominent to say anything else. He didn't ever want to leave Amaranth.
Renata gave a small nod, her golden eyes bright with her intense determination and- something else. Something she had used, but once. She hardly remembered it either when it happened. She knew not if she regretted it. But she felt this was the right time and it was her duty, to use to now. "Stratus Spire?" was all she could say in her thought. It might be a good place.

"That's definitely where this is all happening," Amaranth said to Renata, "Zayne...I can't lose you...I know I'll be okay, so please wait here for me..." She silently pleaded. The pulse ringing in her ears was demanding her to go.

Renata looked to Zayne as well, and walked over to him. She gave him a hug quickly, "Me either... not when I just found you. So... stay," she said pleadingly with her eyes. Backing up she smiled happily, "Besides, we'll be back soon!" she said as if they were going off to play or something.
Zayne returned the small embrace to his small sister, and looked to Amaranth. He held her tighter, as if they were one. Whispering in her ear, he spoke, "Come back soon," he asked her to promise, before taking her chin. Leaning down, his lips met hers with a loving passion. Finally, letting go, he looked at his love and his sister- the only two here he really knew getting ready to leave...
Renata nodded, her face falling serious again, her golden eyes filling up like a glass of pure energy. She was going to make sure this didn't happen. Looking to Amaranth, she was ready to go... "Ready?"

Amaranth's magic was building when Zayne kissed her, so a kind of magic flowed from her to him; enriching his body with good health.
"I'll come back shortly. With Renata," She said.
Before she knew what she was doing, she was out the window with Renata in her arms. It was like she missed a deal of time just because she blinked.
Her Angelic form shot out of the cave at an impressive rate.

Renata didn't bother closing her golden eyes with her dark black lashes. She stared ahead with a hopeful aura to the spire. She didn't wave good bye, wasn't really smiling. This was only the beginning of a new chapter, not the ending of the book...
((Renata exit to Stratus Spire))
Zayne watched as they flew off, his fear residing form it's clutch on his heart long enough to send his love. But as it crept back, he sat back waiting in silence, the figures on white wings fading into the distance. A warm feeling lingered within him from that kiss. He would cherish it until she got back....

Daniel squinted his eyes as he swallowed the potion. It was foul tasting. Still, he couldn't cough it up either. He felt it run all the way through his throat. He sat there for a few moments. Suddenly he felt his body glowing a bit. The glowing lasted for a second. Daniel soon felt better than ever. Could it of really worked? Daniel stood up. He started jumping around, testing everything out. He felt fantastic. It was because he had this illness for so long he didn't remember what it was like to not have it. He felt lighter too. "Synthic, I think it worked!" He said with a smile as he continued to dance around.

Synthic's eyes were clouded with worry for Daniel until he woke up and appeared energetic. Then she watched him with joy and relief in her eyes, "Great! It seems it was a success!" She said. Her voice reflected how she felt.

He uncovered his head and looked around the room at the few people remaining. "So what was that all about anyway?" After all, no one had really bothered to explain anything other than to say that the world was ending. And none of them explained how they knew, for that matter. They just suddenly all seemed to know, which irritated Durithill greatly. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩
