Ade shook his head. "No no no. The council is only for wars and things. They do not tell me how things go with my lifemate. Some of them would try, and many without lifemates would look down on me, but I do not care." He stood and sat on her bed, putting a hoof on her knee. "I want to be your companion."

She frowned, still seeming unsure but nodded "Good... because I want a companion... not an owner.."

Ade stretched out on Galiena's bed, sitting there for a few moments before nodding. "I think this bed is much better than that one. It is more fitting for a princess."

His grin mirrored hers. "Right here." He reached for her hoof and kissed it. "I promise one of those knock out kisses if you stay here with me."

Ade smiled and gently pulled at her to come to him. With his mind, he kissed the corner of her mouth and urged her to meet him.

Ade kissed her back, all the passion and love he could muster pouring into the kiss. He ran his hooves along her sides, resting them on her hips.
