John watched the girls do their girly squeeling yelling jumping around things as they spoke about weddings. He looked out thw window at the snow following and day dreamed, about what his life would've been like if his father was 'normal'. Eventually he fell asleep again.
He woke up a little later. He got up and looked over at Annora and nate. He walked to the bathroom entrance and watched them since they hadn't noticed his presance. He over heard the gay part. ...oh wow..huh, i never saw Nate as gay? "Uh, baby is everything ok?...Or is this private family time, cause if it is i'll just go."

Annora shook her head. "No its fine John... I was just leaving." She stood up and kissed Nate on the cheek and walked over and took John's hand walking away from Nate. "Can you and me just do anything... I need to get out of this house." She said softly walking him down the stairs and out to the cars, getting into her focus.

"uh, sure?" John followed behind her. "Lets take my car." He opened her door and helped her in then got into the driver's seet. John pulled out onto the street driving around randomly. "Is everything ok baby?..i over heard that Nate ran away..and that he is, uuh gay..but why were you holding back tears?" Over the years of dating Annora John had developped a unique ability to know when annora was sad but trying to be happy or if she was holding back tears. ...hmm i wonder who my first man will be?..now that i think of it. Hmm, maybe ill ask arne.

Nathan looked at his sister as she began to leave with shock. "Annora...I...but I don't want to loose you..." he said after the two left. Nathan curled up into a ball and began sobbing. After an hour or so, Nathan couldn't cry anymore. The tears just stopped flowing. So, he decided to call his dad. He flipped out his phone and dialed his number. It rang twice before he picked up. "Hello?"
"Uh, hey, Dad. It's me...Nate." Nathan sniffed a couple of times.
"Nate? Are you okay? You sound upset." His dad replied. He was a good man, really he was. He loved all his children, even his step-children.
"Uh, I'm fine. I just have cold, is all." Nathan sighed and pushed his hair back. "I, uh, just called to tell you and Mom that I would be very happy to be your best man, Dad. It would be more than an honor."
"Well, thats great to hear, Son! I'm glad you feel that way. The wedding is in three months on the 26th. I'll see you there."
"Yeah, you too, Dad."
"Hey, I love you, Son. I love you, so much."
A tear fell from his right cheek to hear that. "I love you, too, Dad. Thanks for asking me. I'll talk to you later. Bye." Nathan closed his phone after his father gave him his farewell. Nathan put his phone back in his pocket and slowly walked out of the room. He couldn't go down stairs, he was a wreck. But, he didn't want to be alone. He thought that the best way to go about things was just to go to his room in silence. Nathan laid on his bed and his new fathers thoughts ran through his head. "I love you, Son. I love you, so much." Nathan began to cry, again. But this time, for a different reason.

Annora sat back in the car and closed her eyes, letting the tears leak out. "My father is marrying his mom. My father wants him to be his best man, while his mom wants me to be the maid of honor." She sighed and wiped her eyes. "I'm jealous of Derrik... He's taking Nate away from me. I always used to be the most important thing to him... He's my brother... I just feel like he's being taken away from me..."

"You'll never lose him you may just see him less. After all..he does love Derrik more in a different way than he loves you." He wiped the tears away from her cheek. John rubbed her cheek to try and calm her. "He'll always love you anne. Just like me." At a red light he leaned over and kissed her cheek.
After a half hour or so John asked. "Are you ready to go back or do you want to keep driving around?"

((Sorry, guys. We had a friend over and played several hands of Munchkin Bites!))
"As if you would gain a pound. I've seen you dance, remember? Now I would blow up like a balloon and have sumo jokes made at me. Which doesn't work for so many reasons, but I digress..." Derrik pauses a moment to really consider Mason. He had not meant to make her uncomfortable, but obviously had. "We're still friends, Mason. And what is a best friend for if you cannot occasionally tell him to stop trying to verbally sex up his boyfriend? I have to go... I have a late job I'd better get ready for soon and my boxes are still sitting around here." Derrik starts ferrying his boxes up to the room Nathan had called for him. The thought made him smile. Once everything was at least in his room and most of it unpacked, he took a quick shower and dressed in fresh clothes. He put in the contacts he rarely wore last and then stepped through into Nathan's room, deciding to see if he was still in there.

Nathan turned over to see Derrik step into his room through the bathroom. Nathan was relieved to see Derrik, he didn't have to be alone anymore. He jumped off the bed and into Derriks arms, burrying his face into the dip between his neck and shoulder. "Oh, Derrik!" Nathan said as he went to him. Nathan sobbed into Derrik's chest.
