Teddy parked his car and made his way to Danse Macabre. He went to the room he knew Markus occupied and knocked, but there was no answer. Had he already left? Teddy chewed his lower lip and thought. What should he do? He really did not want to just wander around looking for Markus. If anything happened to him no one would even know until it was too late. He didn't really have much of a choice though, so he slowly descended the stairs and went back outside. Suddenly he remembered again all the fear of this place that he'd been able to just ignore when he was with Markus. He wrapped his arms around himself and willed his heart to slow to a normal pace, but it paid him no mind and thumped hard and fast as he began to panic. Shaking himself briskly, he decides he will just look for someone else he knows. Sam? No; he still got the feeling Sam didn't like him much. Kit! Kit was pretty cool. Maybe she was working. Teddy blushed at the thought of what Kit did for work. Maybe he should just wait where he was.

"i don't think her fiance would appreciate it if I left her here alone. Hopefully the vampires still have the good graces to not take advantage of a woman while they are using a glamour for their stage shows, though." Anita said, looking as if actually thinking it over. "Alright, let's get out of here." she said, standing up. Her blonde-headed friend was still absolutely oblivious.

"Alright," I said, leading the way to the door. I waited just outside, not knowing whether or not she'd need to pick up anything at the front of the club, such as crosses. When she emerged, I walked ahead of her towards Danse Macabre - Teddy's scent wafted to me from that direction. I tried to keep myself calm, but I couldn't help being incredibly excited to see him.

Anita didn't pick up anything at the door, since the doorman earlier had been too stunned to see her to ask her to take her cross off. She walked quietly next to Markus over to the dance club. Oh, she caught the look on his face alright, but if he wasn't going to offer up the information, who was she to ask it from him?

Teddy was about to make tracks to his car when he finally did see Markus coming his way. He grinned and waved, then ran over to the pair. The woman he didn't recognize, but he was too relieved to even be worried. He threw his arms around Markus' waist. "There you are! I went to your room and when you weren't there I thought maybe I should look for you, but I don't know, I don't think I want to wander around by myself I mean it's just... um, it's just not important. Sorry, I'm talking too much. Um. Hi, miss." Teddy smiles at Anita, finally able to calm down some now that Markus is within his grasp.

Anita gave the young man a small smile, and stuck her hand out to him. "Hi, I'm Anita." she said, not giving her last name. at least now she knew the source of Markus' silly looking grin. "You must be Markus' boyfriend, though he hasn't told me your name yet."

I returned Teddy's embrace and held him against my body. I rested my head on his shoulder and looked at Anita.
"Anita, this is Teddy," I said, not moving my arms from the comfort of my lover's body. If I was to act like this every time I saw him, there was something wrong with my attachment issues.

"I'm Teddy." He replied with both a smile and a blush spreading across his face. Markus' boyfriend; he liked the sound of that. He took the hand and shook it. "It's nice to meet you. Sorry if I was kind of rude, you know, running up and jumping on the guy you're walking with out of the blue." He leaned against Markus' chest, keeping both arms snugly around him as if to prevent his escape. His panic had not been at all pleasant; he wasn't letting Markus out of his sight until he went home.

"Any particular reason you're trying to crack the ribs of the undead?" I asked, moving my hand just enough to poke Teddy repeatedly in the back. It wasn't as if I couldn't breathe. But he was holding me tighter than usual, which made me wonder if something had happened prior to his finding me...

"Sorry, sorry. I guess I just got really nervous when I didn't see you. But I'm okay; nothing bad happened to me." Teddy kisses him lightly and loosens his hold on him. "I didn't even really leave here; just came right back down and stepped outside. I couldn't decide where to go next."

Anita couldn't help but smile at the vampire and his young boyfriend. It made her think of the good times her and Jean-Claude had shared. And then she thought about thier last fight, and a frown briefly crossed her face. It disappeared just as fast. "I need a drink." she said. "I don't suppossed you two were heading to the bar?"

I grinned at Teddy and then turned my gaze back to Anita. "We can go wherever you like," I said. "I'm in no rush. A bar sounds dandy. Maybe the Laughing Corpse. Get a back room away from the crowd and the comedy so we can all talk." I cast a regretful glance back at Guilty Pleasures; I wanted Kit to be with us. "One second," I said, seperating myself from Teddy and dashing into the strip joint. Kit was still on stage. I ran through the club and leapt on stage.
The ladies in the club cheered, and I turned to see them staring at me with hungry eyes. I blushed and smiled, waving in dismissal of their assumptions.
"We're going to be at the Laughing Corpse," I told Kit. "Whenever you get off, come there."
The catcalls continued. Maybe I'd show a little skin. With a flourish, I ripped open my shirt. So it was a little cocky. People wanted to see me; I wouldn't deprive them of that blessing. After several moments of dancing with Kit, I leapt off the stage and made my way back to Teddy and Anita.

When Markus returned to them, she raised an amused eyebrow at him. "Did the ladies try to mob you on the way out the door?" she couldn't stop herself from asking it with a smirk. "I've heard some of the guys in there are thinking about just getting a Sharpie marker and writing 'I'M GAY!' on their foreheads to see if they can keep from getting mobbed." she stated with a perfectly straight face. Was she kidding? Who could tell?.

Teddy waited with Anita; he wasn't in any rush to see the inside of Guilty Pleasures. He wasn't really opposed to stripping, the very idea of it. But him actually watching? He did not think he could. It would be a waste of a cover charge to have him watching his feet the entire time he is in the place. Teddy did begin to wonder about Markus' shirt as he came back. "Holy crap, did you get attacked by fan girls?" Then he just laughed as Anita expressed the same thought, basically. "Maybe I should have gone with him. I'm way better proof than marker on the forehead."

I slung my arm around Teddy's shoulder and laughed. "Yeah, fangirls galore," I said. "Quite annoying. And as for me dragging you in there... well, the sexual tension would've been enough to make me want to give them a show, with you as the co-star." I was speaking nonsense, but I was suddenly too hyped up to care.
