Oriya pretty much sleeps most of that day and then works.. they're slightly understaffed right now, so he actually has to participate in entertaining some. He doesn't sleep with customers, of course, but because this is a respectable geisha house, not all the customers come here for that. He doesn't finish until late that night, not tired at all as he slips back into the room.

One silver eyebrow rose. "Should I be worried?" Muraki asked, before laughing.
He was just joking, of course.

When Oriya returned to his room, he would find a rather annoyed Muraki.
The doctor was standing at the open doors to the garden, a glass of wine in one hand, glaring outside.
"You were busy late." Muraki spoke, his voice cold and devoid of any emotion.
But what was wrong with him was impossible to tell.

Eating his breakfast, Muraki nodded. "I didn't know you could play the koto."

"My damn experiment." the doctor replied, drinking down the rest of the wine. "His... his hands aren't healing and I've tried everything I personally know. His body keeps rejecting the drugs."
Oh yes, Muraki was obviously pissed.

He sighs a little, going to get the bottle and pouring him some more, quietly. He's dressed more formally, his hair loose and half-in his face. He's settling back into work mode. "I see."

"That would be nice." Muraki whispered, his grey eyes trained on the food in front of him. "My father would listen to koto music... when I was a child."

Muraki looks to his friend, "It's not your doing, Oriya-kun." the man sighed, nodding his thanks for the refill. "If this experiment with Inoue-san fails... I'll have to start over again. Square one." he sighed again, though this time angrily. "And it's not helping that those Shinigami haven't shown up yet."

Tsuzuki waits in one of the halls, staring at the candles, even though they make him sad. He's supposed to meet him in the parlor, like usual, but he doesn't like sitting around here... it's too creepy.

Watari tangled a hand in his hair. "Yare yare... this will certainly cut into my time at the lab." but he laughed. "I suppose I don't need sleep, after all."

"Kind." Muraki replied softly. "My father was always really busy... but he had time for me when he was alive."
If only the teen knew just who had killed him.
"I loved him... at least far more-so than my mother. I mean... I had some problems with him after Saki came to live with us... but... but then I realized that my father was only human." he sighed, closing his eyes before looking back up at Oriya.
He had a soft smile on his face. "At least my father wasn't insane."

Muraki smirked, "Very funny, Oriya-san. If you did that, I think they'd all appear on your doorstep. After all... they don't really know I'm back now, do they?" he laughed slightly. "If only I could... wait... perhaps it's the hands... Inoue-san needs different hands..."

"High praise." Mildly. "What was your mother like?" He has vague memories of Muraki's father from seeing him at the school once, but barely anything about the other's mother.
