Walking into the training field, Rei had sensed that both Alder and Sayuri had already arrived. She fast walked toward them, her heart filled with an anticipation she hadn't felt in awhile since leaving the shinigami academy. With a slight grin on her face as she thought of how interesting an experience this is going to be, two shinigamis fighting against literally a mass of shkais, Rei stopped in front of Alder. "Nice to see you again, Alder- san." Rei bowed low as she said that, adding an extra emphasis to the "- san." To both her surprise and relief, Rei was getting used to be around Alder and the other black haired female shinigami; You can do this, Rei, this is your first step toward communication! She turned her head to Sayuri and said in a quiet and calm voice. "Nice to see you again, too, Tamazaki- san." Rei smiled at her, glad that she was comfortable around the two shinigamis. Your doing good, Rei, just keep this up, you'll be fine! They're good people. Yes, just relax and try to not embarrass yourself.

"Draw your Zanpakuto." Alder said in a relaxed tone. He stood up, and the spears hovered up with him. "You'll need to team up. Although I'm only an eighth seat, that doesn't mean I can't instruct you on simple things like teamwork...."
Alder didn't tense at all; his spears just floated around him, serving as his absolute defense. "Besides, MockaDash, this squad's captain, sent me to squad four with the worst injuries I've ever attained. There's no way the two of you could deal that much damage to me...That captain of ours is indisputable."
With that, he still didn't move. He just stood there, waiting for Hinata and Sayuri to make their moves. "Remember, Oujou...you can help me if they attack a blind spot." He thought to his Zanpakuto. Oujou, the spirit in his blade, liked to take control occasionally, or when Alder couldn't see an attack coming. Of course, he would take control sometimes just due to the fact that, no matter how much Alder practiced with the spears, Oujou would always be better than him at controlling them.

Rei noted Alder's lax manner at handling the two shinigamis, and fire started to blaze in her usually soft eyes. "Alder- san, thank you for your kind reminder, but I came here today ready to fight you." Rei said softly, her eyes deadly. Though she knew that she won't be able to defeat Alder, not at her current level of swordmanship, she still disliked his manner while talking to them. A different man in battle, yes that's what I'll say about him. Rei thought to herself. Drawing out her sword in a fluid motion, Rei balanced herself with her elbows tucked in at her side, much like when your trying to defend yourself in a fist fight, besides the fact that she was holding a sword, that is. Eyeing the floating spears, Rei doubted that she would have any destructive effects on them, so she concluded that the only thing she would be able to do was to stop them with kudo. She didn't move, for she had learned in her past life that making the first move was always the wrong choice.
((By the way, Alder, I'm not Hinata, I'n Rei. Just thought that you might had missed that.))

Alder's relaxed temperment made Sayuri both shocked and angry. She was shocked due to Alder's change of personality and she was angry due to the fact that she felt as though Alder was patronizing her. Slowly and gracefully Sayuri drew her zanpakuto from it's saya and she raised her right arm to point her zanpakuto at his neck in challenge. Her family had a saying going "The first who attacks in battle is the one who opens himself up to attack" so Sayuri slightly lowered her zanpakuto and smiled."Are you ready, Rei-sama? I just know that this is going to be interesting."

(Goddamn it...I always mix you two up.....DX)
Alder saw the shocked look on Sayuri's face as he spoke. "...It must seem like I'm belittling the two of you...." He began to move slowly towards them, calculating their stances and movements as he spoke. "..It may be better for you to know that Mock Taichou not only defeated two-but three of his students in a single time, and every one of those students ranked higher than I did in seating. I don't mean to be patronizing. I'm nothing like that blasted fourth seat of ours."
Alder grinned a bit upon insulting Mashiro yet AGAIN. In an instant, two of his spears moved, and waves of black reiatsu were sent flying at Rei and Sayuri. "Begin." Of course, the spears would move right back to his side after they cast the waves of reiatsu. The weaknesses of his spears....he didn't know if these two could expose them or not.

"No need to worry about me; we've got each others' backs, right? Yamazaki- san?" A small smile flitted across Rei's face as she said that, her battle spirit high and all her shy composition evaporated into thin air. Rei's body tensed a little as Alder began to speak, and one of her eyebrows lifted up in a questioning demeanor as though she was saying And what does anything you're saying have anything to do with our battle? Sensing that the spears were charging up just a second before the black riatsu was shot out of the dangerous weapons, Rei hopped to one side. She didn't bother checking on Sayuri; the shinigami would be able to handle this kind of simple attack, no doubt about it. "Yamazaki- san, it's no use hitting the spears with our swords, so...." Rei ran forward suddenly toward Alder, her body parallel to the ground. She was not running in a straight line, though, but instead dodging, turning, and constantly shifting from one side of her body to the other. Rei knew that she was doing something stupid, probably even useless, for Alder could just position his spears in such a way that they can cover every single point within the range she was moving across. I've lost my mind..... Rei thought to herself, but she had never seen such a special shikai before, so all she could do was try.
((Nah, it's ok, doesn't really matter; we all know what you mean ^ ^))

Sayuri smiled pleasently at Rei. Right! she said with joy as she bent her knees and shifted her stance. For some reason Sayuri just couldn't stop smiling. She knew that she was being foolish, but it also made her feel free. Fighting has always been nasty, but Sayuri felt that as long as she could fight with a smile she had a chance. Just after Sayuri finished she felt Alder's spears charge. The black wave shot towards Sayuri and Rei just as it had shot forward towards Kenta in the bar. Sayuri knew that she didn't have the strength to render it usless like Kenta did so she gracefully lept out of the way. Rei-sama is more advanced than I am, so that should have been child's play to her. After Sayuri landed she heard Rei call out to her. "Yamazaki- san, it's no use hitting the spears with our swords, so...." Even though Rei had stopped her sentence it was enough. If we can't directly attack Alder's shikai, and we can't find away around, there must be some flaw. Sayuri gazed at the spears. She thought of some way she could get around, but saw none while they were momentairly still. There has to be a way to get around it...! Still smiling, Sayuri dropped down low. If the wave came at her again she could easily dodge it in this faster stance.

Alder cocked an eyebrow at Rei's comment, but didn't say anything otherwise. As Rei neared, he aimed his left index and pointer fingers at her. "Hadou Number Four...Byakurai." Of course, he didn't aim for her chest...that would be horrible. He aimed at the ground below her feet, aiming to blow her into the air, where he could catch her with the spears.
Sayuri was playing the wise game, and staying back. Of course, this wouldn't last her long. Alder would come to her eventually. For now, he focused his attention on Rei, who was attacking him directly. She was the threat at the moment, and while he respected Sayuri's wise decision, he also didn't approve of her leaving Rei hanging like that.

Of course you'll attack me. Rei smirked, rather unlike herself. Side stepping the kudo, for she knew that no matter how advanced Alder's swordplay may be, he won't be able to bend the ray of light..... right? Rei dismissed the thought as she thought of her previous battle with Alder. Alder- san's a master at close hand combat, plus he's an eighth seat...... Rei calculated. But at close range, the spears may be less likely to be able to move in a way that they won't bump into each other. She had decided what she should do. Suddenly hopping back, her body still low and guarded by her sword, Rei moved close enough to Sayuri so that the young woman could hear what she was saying. "Yamazaki- san, will you prefer to assault Alder- san or distract him?" Rei said in a quiet voice, a hint of smile in her voice.

Sayuri heard Rei and responded with a quick and small nod. If she turned her head Alder might notice and attack, which would spell trouble. Do I attack or do I attract his attention? Taking a second to ponder Sayuri decited to distract him. Rei-sama knows what to do. Her expression tells me that she has a good idea...besides, she had better swordskills than i do... "I think...I'll distract Alder-san!" She whispered. Sayuri moved her weight to the balls of her foot and ran towards Alder. As she ran she moved as if dodging an invisable wave. She knew that she couldn't attack him with kido so she began to think of some way to get him focused on her without injuring herself or Rei in the process.

As Rei moved toward Sayuri, two of the spears followed her. Before she could make it to Saruyi, they intercepted her, swinging violently at her from two sides, effectively cutting her off from Sayuri. "Bakudo Number Four...Hainawa." Alder aimed his fingers again, and aimed a reiatsu web at Rei from behind, using its wide berth in a hope of encasing her.
Of course he wouldn't allow this fight to be easy; technically, he had the upper hand, and he wouldn't let that go too easily. He took one step backward, and, using the softened soil to his advantage, forcing two of his spears to stab fully in the ground while the other two were distracted. If they decided to ambush him somehow, he'd have an ace in the hole as well, literally.

Rei felt Alder's attacks behind her before she saw them, and she cursed her own foolishness for not being more careful when she came back to Sayuri. Now two of Alder- san's riatsu charged spear are coming straight at you; nice job. Rei sighed a little out of frustration, and her body tensed up as both the spears and the kudo came at her. She glanced to see that Sayrui's already out of the spear's range of attack, and she grinned a little. Nice to have somebody so quick to react at your side.... Now Rei focused on the moves against her. Positioning her body low and close to the ground, Rei ran toward the spears and the web in a sprint. When the spears are directly above her, ready to smash into her, Rei crouched onto the ground and crawled, out of reach of the net. She turned back as she felt a slight pain on her left calf, and her brows furrowed as she realized that the spear had hurt her. Thankfully, the spears seemed to continue traveling past her after hurting her. Note to self: Work on evading things and kudo spells. The cut wasn't deep, but it was long and it hurt when she ran. Live with it. Rei told herself sternly, and, ignoring the pain on her leg, she waited for Sayrui's next move, ready to evade Alder's attack many more times.

As Sayuri neared him, Alder backed up so that he was in between the two spears that were now inside the ground. They would be his method of surprise if they tried to double team him. With two spears now returning to his side from the attacks on Rei, Alder had four spears to work with.
Of course, this wouldn't be the case for long. "Handle Rei, Oujou." Alder thought to his Zanpakuto. Without Alder having to do anything, one of the spears shot towards Rei, slashing and veering off at speeds much faster than the spear Alder had commanded. Then, Alder focused his attention on Sayuri. Without the two girls realizing it, this was truly a two on two match.
A second spear soared towards Sayuri, and began to hack rapidly at her legs. With the current method of moving she was using, the spear would harshly cut her if she continued to run like so, meaning that a change in running posture was demanded of.

Woah! Sayuri thought as one of Alder's spears came flying towards her. In my current stance the spear would go right through my leg...prehaps...this will work.
As the spear drew near Sayuri stopped running, dropped down low, and sprung off the ground using her hands. She hoped that it, if she landed right, would either confuse Alder or make it hard for Alder to hurt her. Its time to see if this will work...! Landing lightly on her feet Sayuri fell exactly next to the spear's right side. I won't have much time to try this... "Ye Lord, Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Inferno and pandemonium, The sea barrier surges, March on to the south! Hado 31, Shakkahou!" Sayuri chanted. She held out her hands, pointing the tip of her zanpakuto at Alder's feet. She had some feeling that it wouldn't be good if she directed it directly towards Alder's spears.

A mere spear won't be able to stop me, Alder- san; even if I am already injured this early in the fight and your spear is indeed incredibly powerful. Rei smiled grimly as one of Alder's many spears charged toward her at lightning speed. She had noticed that, somehow, the zanpaktou had shot at her without Alder's command. Never underestimate the power of a zanpaktou spirit, perhaps.... Rei shut down her thoughts as she prepared to dodge the dangerous weapon coming at her. But if that spear has a consious of its own..... wouldn't it just keep coming at me if I dodge it? The female shinigami wondered to herself as she tightened her back leg in preparation to give herself a sudden burst of speed. The spear is constantly gaining more and more speed, thus more and more lethal if came into contact. And you also have to watch out when it shoots out riatsu..... Frowning, Rei waited for just the right moment to, somehow, prevent herself from being speared. At the last second, Rei dodged the spear with just a moment to spare, but to her dismay, a few strands of her long black bangs were cut off. Focus more, Rei, focus more. Rei turned to face the spear, for she knew that without dealing with this haunting weapon first, she'll never have a chance to attack Alder even if she tries her hardest.
