Komlon nodded. "Okay then, that way." he says pointing in the direction the footprints were coming from. He really hoped that they had walked in a strait line coming in and would be able to going out. He puts his left arm around Hana's waist again and they start to walk. He was looking slightly worried but was doing his best to hide it. He realized that his powers hadn't gone off in a while and hoped they wouldn't now. It seemed that usually when he lost control of his powers, he was thinking of them, but now he couldn't get them off his mind.

Komlon looked at Hana out of the corner of his eye. "So ummm... about earlier..." He says. "I was going to ask you... if... you know... since this is a date... if well... that makes us a... couple?" he asks, turning a progressively more red with each word. He was smiling nervously, not turning his head to Hana but still looking at her out of the corner of his eye.

Komlon looked at the ground. He simply said "Oh..." and then was silent for a while. Maybe she just wants to be single for now... Or maybe she just doesn't like me... He thought. He was expecting her to give him a maybe or something, so he wasn't really suprised. He was just a little disapointed, though he knew the odds of her saying yes were low. He didn't talk for quite a while.

Komlon couldn't help but think they weren't going in a straight line. But he wasn't sure if he really wanted to risk the guess. He decided he would just dismiss the thought for now.
He moved his arm up, placing his hand on Hana's sholder. That was more comfortable, since Komlon was taller than Hana. He couldn't check his watch at the moment, and he didn't know how long they had been walking. It felt like they had been walking for hours now but Komlon knew it couldn't have been that long. At least he thought it couldn't. He looked up at the sky, trying to find the sun through the canopy of the branches He couldn't see through the trees though, but dismissed the thought. He just kept walking, wondering what Hana was thinking about.

Komlon tried to think of a way to break the silence. He couldn't think of anything to say however, so he remained silent, until a snap ahead of him made him aware of what was going on around him. It had only been a pair of squirrels running up a tree. Komlon then went back to trying to break the silence again. He had never been very good at making conversation, and why should now be any diffirent. All he could hope was that Hana would somehow break the silence.

"Uhh... just a moment." Komlon says, pulling his arm away from Hana's sholder. He checked his watch. They had been walking for fifteen minutes since they had turned around now. "Uhhh... this could be a problem. We should be out of the forest now..." he explains. He looked around, not able to locate the edge of the forest. Komlon let out a curse under his breath. He ran his right hand through his hair. "What should we do now?" he asked, making sure he stayed calm.

Komlon looked around at the nearby trees. Most of them had few low branches, but a couple of them would be climbable. Easily even. Komlon had a lot of experience climbing trees while he had been a runaway. Well, he was actually still a runaway, but now he had a place to stay. "Okay, This will just take a minute." He says, walking over to a tree. He steeod at the base trying to find a way to hoist himself into the tree. Within a few seconds, he reached up and grabbed a thick branch, pulling himself up with his arms. He brought his outer leg up and pulled himself onto the branch so that he was facing the trunk. He grabbed a branch that seemd sturdy enough -- he had checked that there were leaves on it to make sure it wasn't a dead limb -- and lifted his leg, pulling himself higher into the tree. He continued his ascent at a suprising pace, almost as if he had climbed this tree once before. He hadn't though, but he was very skilled at tree climbing. Within a couple minutes, Komlon was but a couple feet from the top of the tree, able to see in all directions. The branches he was standing on appeared to be very weak, but they were indeed strong enough to hold him, since the bark of the tree wouldn't rip that easily and eacho f his feet were between branches instead of on them. He looked down to the ground to see what Hana was doing. Komlon sighed. He couldn't see the school, this tree wasn't tall enough. Komlon continued to look around to see if he could find a clearing in the leaves in front of him to reveal the girls dormitory or something.
