*stops cleaning and cries out in happyness*
Lexy! Kyri is very happy to see you have been accepted here as well! She offers her sinciere congratulations! Though Kyri feels she must inform you that houselves such as ourselves are only allowed to post in the Giggling Pear Kitchens in the "Around Hogwarts RP" subforum, unless under the pretext of cleaning or serving others food. The discussion and gaming subforums are perfectly acceptable though and takes this oppurtunity to challenge Lexy in trying to outwit her in the "Sent To Azkaban Because...." game. Kyri also recomends reading the information posted in the Great Hall on the main forum page (it may seem like much to read but it is neccesary if Lexy wishes to understand and enjoy everything Hogwarts without getting in trouble. A house elf but learn her place *shakes her head solemly*). Anyway, let us both try our hardest to aid others and becoming active members her at Hogwarts so that we may be sorted and become students by the start of the fall term! Oh, my Kyri has talked a great deal and all this while has distracted herself and Lexy from our work! Let us continue, before we are scolded by our fellow houselves! If Lexy has something more to say to Kyri, she can say it while we clean or pull her aside later on through a private message (PM me! wink ).
*Resumes cleaning and works together with Lexy to clean the ovens, all the while singing and squeking contently*

Baerun thinks all these tables be pretty clean now. Baerun is going to start cleaning the dishes now. *whips out some soap and heads to the sink* Filthy these dishes are, just filthy. *starts scrubbing away while muttering nonsense to himself*

*Starts putting all the clean dishes back where they belong* What is left for Baerun to do? Aha, Baerun must clean the ceiling, nobody ever cleans the ceiling it must be filthy. *starts climbing up the wall to the ceiling with a wet rag*

*Mafalda walks into the kitchen. She's wearing lovely robes of emerald green today, she has a gardenia tucked into her hair which is up in a loose curly bun, and she's carrying a rather large stack of official looking papers, graphs, and record books. A large but slim and feminine Siamese cat with icy blue eyes follows in tow. A beautiful collar (though it looks a bit more like a bracelet) is around it's neck; it seems to be studded with diamonds and topaz gems.*
Hello elfies! Don't mind me, I just find the sound of cleaning helps me concentrate and I'd like to get these lists done before sorting week. Also, elves seem to always be good company; nice to talk to, but never get you off of your task at hand.
*She pulls out her wand; one must assume that magic kept her large load from toppling to the ground. She flicked the wand once, twice, three times and with each flick a comfy, canary yellow chintz armchair, a sturdy oak table, and a cat bed appeared near the fireplace. The cat immediately went for the bed and cozies in, purring in the heat of the fire. Mafalda placed her load on the table and looked around to see who was there.*
Hello up there. *looking toward an elf scrubbing away at the food stains on the ceiling.* I must say, it never occurred to me that the ceiling might get dirty from the food going through it to the Great Hall... *turning to the two elves who seemed to be friends, catching up.* Sorry to bother you, but could I bother you for a cup of Jasmine tea? I would do it myself but the past elves have never let me figure out where they keep everything. I'll be at my chair by the hearth, alright?
*Heads toward chair an begins to poor over her paper work, making notes and checking facts.*

Love skittered into the kitchen, glancing around at all the supplies and kitchenware.
"Gracious!" he steadied himself against a dusty countertop. "So many things...so much kitchen...Love must get to working! Although Love wishes he could take a nap... crying " He pulled out one of a boxful of clean rags and began to wipe the counter. " Hmmm hmm~ heart ," he murmured to himself as he shined the surface, imagining a butterbeer and a book by a crackling fire.
