SuperNerd000 was now positive that something was following them... he held the dagger in a ready position, then something dark sprinted across the path in front of them...

Zylo spun and slammed his fist into the shadowy figure.
Alruna turned to face him and summoned a ball of purple flame.

SuperNerd000 was about to attack it with his knife when it flew off into the trees... and he now became aware of the feeling of lots of tiny eyes looking at them from the trees...

"Alruna?" Zylo called, looking around him.
Alruna cursed, "Run!"
Zylo ran, heading in the direction Alruna pointed out as she landed on Zylo's shoulder.

SuperNerd000 was about to ask what it was... then he saw lots of eyes in the trees start to glow red... he turned and ran, the fear giving him enough of a speed boost to keep pace with Zylo.

Alruna pointed to the clearing with the portal.
Zylo nodded and grabbed Nerd and Flare, pushing them through the portal and jumping after them.
((Ok now you get to choose where the portal leads.))

Zylo walked out of the portal and turned, closing it before they could be followed.
Alruna sat silently on Zylo's shoulder.
