Mai noticed her words might of hurt Sammy so she started to feel guilty. Then when Sammy asked her question Mai giggled to herself. It was so typicall of Sammy to do something like that. "Oh yeah how do you designate a host?" Mai asked to nobody-in-particular.

Sammy turned back to having a staid expression on her face, getting right beside Mai as if she were a stalker. "So-- which one shall you choose? This could have a big impact on how you spend your time here at the Host club; are you scared, excited, joyful?" Sammy asked, her eyes growing wider as she prepared to write everything down in her notebook. Standing on her tiptoes to heighten the illusion of tallness, she persisted on her answering the question not through words, but with her eyes.

"Well I was thinking about Kaoru. I am so so so so so so so so so so so so excited! I mean I've loved the twins the instant I saw them but haven't had a chance to come here with my dad agitating me to spend every moment of my free time that I need to myself oh so badly!!"Mai exclaimed with all her voice. Realizing she made an overly loud outburst, she quieted down. Mai rarely made outbursts, but she was making more and more outbursts lately. She didn't know why it was happening so often, and it greatly disturbed her.

Sammy frantically wrote down everything Mai was saying, and it seemed as if smoke were coming up from the paper as she wrote. "Ah, I see... Fascinating," she mumbled under her breath, slamming her notebook shut as Mai finished.

Kyouya looked at Sammy and Mai. "You can designate anyone you'd like. Although right now there is myself, Kaoru, and then of course there is Alcy... But she is currently busy with Fai," he said.

Kaggy bowed to Kyouya, smirking. "Of course, your majesty." Determined to have the last jab, Kaggy added, "He's not worth my time or energy, anyways."

"I want to designate Kaoru, but I really don't feel like moving. I don't know why, but I'm tired all of a sudden. I think I'll go home." Mai said in one big yawn. Mai gathered her stuff and left.

"Bye, Mai..." Sammy grumbled, as if she was mourning the untimely loss of a loved one. Sighing, she began to write random tid-bits that she felt might be needed in later investigations. After a short discussion in her mind about what she should do, she decided it best if she had a conversation with someone other than herself. "So, Mr. Ootori, I'm guessing you've gotten a good number of designations, hmm?" She inquired, ready to write down the upcoming answer.

((hey guys, Kaoru-kun's internet died or something, so he'll be MIA for awhile.))
Watanuki felt the hairs on the back of his neck bristle with Fai's friendly gesture. It was like Fai turned into one of those smooth talking vampires, and he jerked back for fear of being eaten. "Eh ah, that's.. er um..." he was downright flabbergasted; really, socializing was hard enough with normal people.
His attention was fortunately diverted by Alcy's plea for company. Shame on him for leaving his twin (that no matter how many times we say it, she won't ever really be his twin) all by her lonesome. "Alcy-san!" he half whined. He hastened to sit next to her, face full of apology, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be so... Sorry~!" He bowed his head a bit, but his eyes still watched her for some sign of forgiveness.

Kaoru couldn't help but drop it completely, before he could answer Kaggy's obvious move to upset him. He wasn't going to react. He simply refused. So when Kyouya remarked that they stop, he bowed to the shadow king with grace. "I wasn't going to continue, Kyouya," he answered, looking away. He then turned toward Mai, giving her a bow. "There will be other chances," he told her before he watched her walk out the door.
((OOC: I'm at my room mates mothers place and she let me on. So here's a small post for Kaoru. I hope to have the net back by the end of next week, but I can't promise anything. So... please... forgive me!! *bows*))

((It's okay. I've been really stressed out with school lately.))
Clarissa nodded and led her sister towards the couch she was previously on. "Hey Reina," she started, plopping herself down next to the girl that had been silent for quite a while. "This is my younger sister, Alyssa. It was getting a bit crazy over the entrance, as you could tell," she sweatdropped. "But I think we need a lot of relaxation over here."

((Sorry I have been here myschool has been doing a modern version of Julius Caesar. And I had a 100 page front and back journal due yesterday. SO ya....my week has been stressful.))
"Kyouya is there anything you would like me to do?" She said respectfully and kindly to him. Making sure that it was the right thing to say she put on hand over her mouth in somewhat of shock.

Becoming slightly frustrated that her question was to go unanswered, Sammy began to amble aimlessly around the room, looking at all of the happy customers and hosts. Releasing a heavy sigh, she looked down at her notes. Maybe I shouldn't be here... she thought, but decided against it for now. How else was she going to research for her book?

Alyssa poured herself a cup of tea that was on the table. It was still warm at least, but not scalding hot, which was just fine for her. There were also pastries she was staring at and couldn't resist, so she decided to take one for herself.
"So, Clarissa, how long is study break? I've got the same hour as you do and then I've gotta go back to class. But I'm glad you told me about this. Are there any other guys here?"
