"She must be in her room," Az said setting the baby down at the table. "Alright...let's see if we can find any food in here."

Erian nodded "Yeah we need to eat!"
Synne came bouncing down the stairs and ran into the kitchen, pausing and then running to hug Az "Daddy hi! Where's mommy? I'm thirsty cause I was practicing with Val and then I went to play in my room, see my pretty dress, and I danced and ran around and now I'm tired and thirsty but I don't know where anything is here..."

"Woah, woah, woah!" Az laughed (actually laughed!) catching the girl. "I caught tired and thirsty at the end. Why don't you sit with your brother, I'll see if what there is to drink, alright?"

Erian blinked at his sister and sighed at her enthusiasm.
Synne nodded "Okay!" And sat next to Erian "Are you getting a drink too?"

"Alright..." Az looked around the kitchen trying to figure out where everything way. His sons were typically self sufficient, at least they were until Lilah arrived and began spoiling them...He shook his head. He actually spent very little time in the kitchen, coming in only for tea and occasionally some form of food. But it appeared he was in luck. There was a bowl of fruit on the counter and what appeared to be lemonade beside it. "Ok, we have oranges, apples, lemonade, and of course tea, so far..." he glanced over at the pair. "Any of those sound appealing?"
"Can I have one of the apples?" Proteus asked entering the kitchen and jumping up with his siblings.
Azaroth frowned, "Doesn't anyone sleep in this house..."

Erian smiled at Proteus "I'd like an apple too please... and some tea"

"Alright," Azaroth said dispersing the various requests. "But I'm telling you now, we're not making a habit of this. Ask your brother, around here babies, you guys, head to bed an hour after sun set..."
Proteus grinned, "Unless you're Valzar and you stay up all night practicing spells."

Synne pouted "Thats not fair! Mommy doesn't make us go to bed that early... and why does Val get to stay up to practice magic??"
Erian just shrugged and started to eat his apple. His dad had said head to bed... not sleep.

"He shouldn't be," Az said putting the kettle back on the fire. "What type of tea would you like, Erian?"
Proteus shook his head. Synne and Erian would figure it out soon enough. They could get away with just about anything in this house. After all, he'd never been caught any of the times he'd snuck out to meet up with Arch.

Azaroth sighed also seeing the beginnings of tears. "We'll talk with your mother," he heard himself saying as he prepared the tea. "Maybe we can push the bed time back a little bit..."
