She walked over to him, placing her hand on his shoulder, she dropped her gun, and instead pulled out a needle and held it to the side of his neck. "Sure this is what you want? Sure there's other options, but putting your fate into the hands of a stranger, and adding another life in... you can see why I'm hesitant to carry this out."

"Sleep well." Taking hold of the handle of the gun, she pulled the trigger. Before he hit the ground, she had came behind him, and on one knee, caught him in her arms, resting two fingers on his neck.

jerking he struggled forward, kneeling next to Lance. " rest well..eka.." it was the last thing he saw before he hit the ground and everything went black.

Zai put Lance down gently, and checked Gage's vital signs. He's dead.... Zai layed down on the ground among them, both dead, both she had known for less than a day. Looking over at Lance, she closed his eyes, and felt her face hurt, like she was about to cry. Yet her expression did not fade, suddenly, it hit her. Why should I care? Whats wrong with me? My hate.... is gone... She covered her face, and tensed her muscles, suddenly in extreem emotional pain, shivering a bit and not even breathing. Why should I care!? What did I change!? Why do I care!?! In agony, she pulled herself up and curled into a ball, covering her face, and crying heavily yet silently. Zai.... felt like this was the worst pain of her life....

his heart stuttered, even as he lay as dead it kicked. distantly he heard his masters scream of rage, and he felt satisfied. he was free... opening his mind he saw the two others, tears of blood seeping from his eyes. the last thought was whispered in both of their minds. ill always cry.. when angels deserve to die..
and with that he was gone, only a small splatter of blood laying across the ground where his body had been. Gage would get the powers Lance had been forced to take.. and Lance was free.

Zai quickly got ahold of herself, and forced herself to stop crying, punching the ground hard enough for her hand to bleed to get full control again. Breathing deeply, she just noticed Lance's body was gone, and his word's slowly played in her mind.

Gage stirred, his eye opening in time to see the tears fall from lance's eyes. his body felt like it was on fire, his mussles contorting and shifting painfuly. even in the state he was in, he pushed himself next to Zai and wrapped a comferting arm around her.. trying to understand what was happening.
