[Go, Quick Post!]
Mike sensed the young woman behind him, and when he turned around he smiled. She was quite a beautiful young woman. They all were. He was fortunate to travel with such lovely ladies. Most of the groups he had been with were old men who tried to kill him in the end. He couldn't trust them too well yet, but after mentioning that name, he couldn't let a lead like that get away.
"That demon? Well actually..." Mike was about to say the truth, but felt an odd aura from the woman. She had an aura like that of an angels, but different. Perhaps she was a fallen angel? Mike did not really want to tempt his powers against holy magic, so he lied a little. "That demon left not too long ago. He might come back though...I don't know much about him." Mike didn't really lie. He did transform back a bit before, and he didn't know much about himself. The perfect cover.

Ashe let Sorrow heal her wounds. When that was finished she stretched her wings and tested them a bit. "Thanks, Sorrow." She then shifted to her elven form and ran a hand down her eye, tracing the scar the wound had left. She was pretty sure the other wound left a more noticeable scar. Jogging up to Lin, she grabbed the reins of one of the horses and swung herself up. "Now we can travel faster."

Sorrow looked back to Mike and let out a sigh of relief and slowly walked behind him letting out a sigh of relief. She started to walk a little faster trying to keep up with the others who seemed to still be slightly ahead of them and accidently brushed her right wing up against Mike. She slowed down a bit as to not completely slap him with them.
“I sure am clumsy today.”
She blushed a bit and looked to the side. She then tried to pull her wings back but they seemed to have a mind of their own and flapped a little bit in the air. She looked down at her gray jumpsuit and wondered again why she was wearing it, and why it felt different than her normal plain attire.
“Hey Flint, do you have my bag somewhere? I think I want to change clothes again once we reach the human capital.”
She looked up from looking at him to see something in the horizon. As they reached the clearing she could see it as clear as day, it was the outskirts of the human capital, a rather large stone wall in the not so far distance. She perked up a bit and reached her hand out and pointed.
“We’re almost there.”
She stood next to mike and fidgeted with her hand trying not to brush it up against Mike’s hand. She looked over at him and then back to the wall in the distance. They would soon be there, and the soon they would begin their great quest, to defeat Shiango and probably Shift in the process.

Flint had been in the process of casting back his horse when Sorrow talked to him. "Yeah, lemme check." he said, jumping down from the ghostly horse, strolling over to one of the horses. When he finally got there, it took him a minute to get up to the height of the bags. He started searching through each one vaguely, trying to find a way to indentify the bag. After about 5 minutes, he found it. Flint untied the bag and hopped down from the tree stump he was standing on, strolling over to Sorrow. "Here ya go." he said simply, holding out the bag.

(quicky post) Ashe saw the wall as Sorrow pointed it out. She smiled and looked back at the group. "Last one there buys the food!" She spurred her horse ahead and raced towards the city. (just to get things going)

[Sorry bout my lateness. It's homecoming week and I'm in the band. Busy busy!]
Mike was impressed that Sorrow was a Fallen Angel. At first. Then he became fairly cautious around her. She had the power to blast him into next Thursday without using too much might. He still needed to find out who he was and what he was meant to do in his new life, and being blasted back to hell sure didn't sound like his destiny. However, her actions made him think she was attracted to him. Mike let out a small grin, a rare occurance, as he thought of the idea that a Fallen Angel was attracted to a demon.
As the forest began to reach a clearing, Mike could see the tip of a large wall. They had arrived at whatever city the group had been traveling too. As Ashe declared her challenge, Mike gave a determined smile, ready to triumph. He had earned quite a large sum of currency doing good deeds. Even if he lost he could pay for it, but he had never planned on losing ever before in his memory of life.
As soon as Mike saw Ashe's horse rear up, he ducked down and started running as fast as he could. His old elven speed was mixed with his demonic power, so he was going just faster than a normal elf could run. He glanced over his shoulder to see that he was in the lead, but going to lose it in a few moment as Ashe came riding up next to him. He could have gone faster had he been able to fly as a demon, but he wasn't about to risk Sorrow catching him looking like that. Instead, he kicked it into overdrive and bolted down a slope towards the town.

[Writers block quick post >.<] Flint saw the others run. He didn't care if he made it last. He was still a thief, after all. All he hoped was that the others that disappeared would have the sense to hit the capital when they found them not there. Leaving the bag with Sorrow, he scrambled up onto his spectral horse, heading after the others. He kept up well enough with Ashe, only about 2-3 meters behind her. "Man, that other guy is fast, isn't he?" he shouted, ducking as a branch nearly hit the top of his head.

Ashe smiled wickedly. She looked up at the wall and judged the distance. Just a little further. She looked at Flint as he called back to her. "Aye, he is. But is he as fast as the wind?" She caught some of the wind that the others where creating, and wrapped it around the horses legs. Little wings appeared at the ankles and the horse sprung forward. She past Flint, but Mike was still ahead of her.

As Mike ran, he took another glance over his shoulder. "What the-!?" Ashe's horse was not only gaining speed on him, but it looked as though it was nearly flying. Mike then noticed the wings on the steed's ankles. So, a little magical ability, never would have guessed. Mike wondered how he was going to go faster. He was already starting to fatigue and couldn't possibly go faster. Unless...Mike had quickly put together a plan, but to put it in action he'd have to fall back and let the others get a little bit ahead of him. He slowed down, and waited for the opportune moment to take the lead back.

Flint noticed Ashe put on a burst of speed, and it seemed Mike was cooking up a scheme. So, he tried something of his own. Bringing his horse to a stop, he put his hands in front of him and casted a spell. A few meters up the trail in front of Ashe appeared a brick wall, around 10 feet high. Completely illusioned, of course, but he hoped it would have an effect. Flint didn't even need to tell the horse to start, and it walked forwards on its own, catching up with Mike. "Ran out of steam already? I thought demons were fast." he said casually.

The horse, startled by the sudden appearance of the wall, stopped suddenly. Ashe was thrown from the saddle and flew through the illusion, rolling on the ground. The horse snorted and turned around a few times before residing to just stand still. Ashe gingerly got up and brushed herself off. She walked to the horse and petted it, removed the wind from his legs. "Flint, you sly fox." She yelled at him as she walked the horse through the wall. "I just had three major wounds heal and now your adding bruises to mix as well." She got to about a few feet behind the two and mounted the horse again. "Shall we continue?" she asked as she kicked the horse into a trot.

(( I've read about the 'make a new RP', and that really...Fed my curiousity. Is there any possibility that THAT rp will be made soon? Otherwise, I'd join this one, if there's any space left though. ))

[I won't be able to post for a bit, I just found this RP using my Dad's comp. My computer died. For a 5th time. I lost my hard drive once for no reason, then again when installing windows, then I Blue Screen O' Death'ed out yesterday, froze this morning, and BSODed again just now. I'm afraid to look at my own computer, it might explode.]
