"Did you see an elderly woman back in the alley last night before I passed out?" Wanda asked her while changing.

"A girl?" said Wanda. Now that was odd because she was certain it was the voice of her mentor, Agatha. She frowned. I guess my brother has more admirers than he thinks. Damn. He won't be easy to kill then.

Skarlet awoke in a heap on the floor to the piercing sound of the telephone. Thank God my headaches gone, or I might have made whoever is on the line sware that they were in love with one of the Olsen twins. Peeling her cramped body off the ground, she grabbed the telephone and managed a hoarse "Hello?".
"Excuse me ma'am, I didn't mean to wake you, but we seem to be having problems with your payment. We have no record of you paying in either cash or checking, and we also seem to be missing your credit card number."
Oh s**t. I forgot that I had to be out of here early.
"Oh my!" she feigned, "well, just let me get dressed and put some of my things together, and I will come down as soon as I can."
"Thank-you ma'am," said the relieved man on the other end.
Skarlet hung up the phone and began to work quickly. Ripping one the sheets off the bed, she emptied the contents of the minibar onto it. "If nothing else, I am sure I can find some teens who would love to get a hold of this stuff," she mumbled to herself. She then carefully wrapped the items up, and tied the sheet together. Then, taking the other sheet, she knotted them at the tips and brought them to the window. Wipping open the third floor glass casing, she began lowering her stolen cargo to the ground. Her hands slipped, though, and the makeshift bag landed with a slight *thud*. Flinching to herself, she surveyed the grounds to see if anyone had noticed and found an ederly man on a nearby bench trying to make sense of what he was seeing. She carefully used her powers to shift his curiousity away from her and to the pigeons forming a small huddle in front of him.
Skarlet then swung herself over the railing of glass and onto the rickety fire escape ladder. She then began her journey downward, focusing all her energy on simply not slipping. So focused was she, that she did not even notice the fact that to her left was the window of the mutant she had put sleep just last night. Her sole focus was on making it down the ladder without displaying her typically klumsy nature.

OOC: Sorry, it's kinda long, but I felt in a good mood for some angst... If there even IS a good mood for angst. And don't worry, I know you don't want a character who's always being pitied. It's just for a while, kay?

IC:"COME BACK 'ERE!"

She pumped her legs at faster intervals, desperatly trying to lose them but her puffs of breath in the middle of the summer were unmistakably leading them to her. She'd lost her sandals somewhere along the way and now she was sorely missing them as she ran bare footed, sharp pebbles and even some broken glass digging into her delicate flesh.

Strange, isn't it? Just when you think life couldn't get any harder, it suddenly does.

Yukiko had woken up because of the excessive warmth in the room. She was alone, unexpectedly. She felt stuffed up and slightly nauseous so she decided to take a walk outside to clear her head. Not even bothering to write a note as to her whereabouts, she left the room and happily noticed it was night. Before she could even cross the street, two men ambushed her.

"I told ya she was in New York. Thanks to that mutant show..." said the bulkiest of the two.

His friend spat saliva pretty damn near her, "Thought you could escape us, snow girl?"

Yukiko didn't even try to reason with them and ran away as fast as she could.

What were the chances of those two finding her right when she was hiding in a random hotel? And in New York too!

The chase kept on until she was finally cornered. As they stepped forth menacingly with sardonic grins on their battle-hardened faces, she shuffled backwards and met the moist wall.

"You know what's coming girlie..." the first one cracked his knuckles and hit her in the face.

She moaned lightly as she fell on her knees, but didn't scream. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction.

"That's for almost killing my son, you b***h!" She felt him kick her in the guts and crumbled to the dirtied ground, staining her white clothes. She stared foward, her eyes vacant, as they continued to hit her...

Hey all. Well, My mother in Orlando just called me and informed me that both Bonnie and Charley have intentions of barrellling into my area so if I happen to go dormant for a couple of days that's why... I'll be without power. I think they'll just be big rain storms, but from the looks of things Bonnie has gotten much stronger. *sigh*

ic: noko stood looking out the window now down at the alley when she noticed the girl climbing down the fire escape " Wanda" she said before dragging her physically over to the window. " Thats the girl in the alley.."

Wanda frowned. "She's the one who stopped me from killing my brother?" She saw Noko nodded. Wanda opened the window so violently that she almost broke it. "HEY YOU! COME BACK HERE!" she yelled at the girl but she didn't stop running. Wanda jumped on the ladder and slided (sp? sorry I don't remember if this one is a special verb or not) down.

She landed on her feet and ran after the girl but she quickly lost her in the crowd. Oh so you think you can hide from me?

"Look! It's Wanda from the real life show on mutants!" yelled a man.
"Oh Wanda! I want your autograph!" said a girl running toward Wanda.
"I want to be just like you when I grow up!" told a little boy to a confused Wanda.
"You filthy mutant! You should die!" finally screamed a bunch anti-mutant people.

And before Wanda could even opened her mouth, a wild battle between the fans of Warren's show and the anti-mutants exploded.

"Goddamn, can't we go ANYWHERE!" Phenix said carrying bags of camping gear with Kylia in tow. Kylia looked up and saw the mob of people around Wanda exploding into a little skirmish.

"Why are they fighting?" Kylia went to the car radio to see if she could tune into some frequency or digitized report that would give them information.

Phenix shrugged, "Probably over something rediculous. Do we stay to make sure nobody's hurt or do we just go home and let somebody else deal with this crap?"

She hated morailty sometimes... because as much as she wanted to go home, Phenix had to stay to make sure nobody was hurt - homo sapien or homo superior. She made her way into the crowd and saw Wanda. Wanda had a hot temper so it made Phenix somewhat trepidacious to go up to her, but Phenix figured that she stood down War and Death and laughed at Apocalypse. Wanda definately wasn't like them.

"Wanda, you okay here?"

OOC: If you respond, Inuki, I may be sleeping. Feel free to tell Phenix to shove off, but her conscience also won't let her leave the sceen because she'll worry that people will get hurt without her around. So she may be an annoying fly in your ear wink I trust your judgement and RPing.
