We're doing the
Metamorphoses as the 2nd year production at my college. Among the parts that I play, I'm Pomona the dryad. *dances*
Ever since I started acting.. I've been doing sketches of what I think the character looks like. This time.. I've gotten carried away and my sketch has turned into a full-fledge piece. -__-
Anyway...
I'm a bit stuck on the background.. you can tell that I'm still experimenting with techniques to make backgrounds look real. (I find that there's a big difference from my last attempt at scenery) Do you have any ideas? The shrubbery in the background isn't complete yet. Nothing about the background is really definite yet.. so go ahead and pick it apart.
I'd really appreciate it. ^^
I've spent close to 7 hours on the background so far.. most of that time going into the moss and rocks.
Reference was used for the pose and the rocks.
