Ravenfang looked across the camp, thinking about what Dampfoot said. Am I really that pitiful? She thought.

((i don't understand what dampfoot said that was insensitive.... i don't get it... but anyway))
Silvertail nudged Rainfur playfully with her head. "Icetail's right... we still need to patrol the borders but with Torrentstar, Pebblefoot and Dampfoot gone... I don't think we should leave yet." She turned to Icetail her tone serious then. If something did happen, they couldn't leave the camp unguarded.

Dampfoot weaved into the undergrowth, slinking through the brambly fingers that grabbed at her pelt, an irritated scowl plastered across her face. She didn't look back to check for Mooneye -- the elder had been so eager to come that Dampfoot was almost certain she wouldn't hesitate. Dampfoot kept up a steady pace all the way to the river, which she crossed at the bridge, pausing shortly at the border to check that Mooneye was still in tow.
[ Readyyyy Mooneeeyyyee~? Should I wait or.. Just go straight on and post in ThunderClan now..? o3o ]

 One song, gloryRainfur nodded. "I promise, once everything's all settled, there will be a patrol." he mewed lightly, trying to soften the moment. Everything was so tense between the clans lately. He hoped nothing would happen today. one song, before I go...

Crystaleye grinned. "There should be. I haven't been on a patrol for a day. I'm starting to feel like I'm being lazy." She waved her tail in goodbye to Mooneye and Dampfoot. "Please hurry!"
Owleye yawned, licking her paw gently. She headedi n the elder's den to sleep.

Ravenfang watched as the deputy and elder exited the camp. "If only I could have saved her earlier...we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place..."

(( so sorry... i have no time anymore! anyway sorry yes yes go ahead Dampfoot x3))
Mooneye had no problem keeping up. She knew they were close when she could hear the river's strong current. I can see why Sunpaw got swept away. Mooneye lifted her nose into the air to see if she could catch a scent but all she could smell was the river and Dampfoot. She felt her way very carefully across the bridge keeping her nose to the ground so she could smell exactly where Dampfoot had stepped and could follow so that she didn't accidentally walk straight off the edge. When she had crossed she sensed Dampfoot's waiting presence and nodded. She quickly fell into a crouch, knowing that they were no longer in their own territory. She followed Dampfoot close behind and waited for some sort of signal. She also kept a wide ear open for Sunpaw, she was sure she would be able to hear her.

Crystaleye nodded, worried. "I think we should. I'm getting so worried, and if they need help..." She shook her head. "Come on. Let's go. If we get in trouble with Torrenstar, so be it. They're taking too long."

Ravenfang nodded and led the way out into the camp. If they ran into Dampfoot and Mooneye, they would turn around and go back. This is the best way to settle this...not to mention that it would help clear my consious.

Crystaleye walked farther in the territory. "Oh...leaf-bare is cruel." She murmured, shivering already. "So, over to ThunderClan then?" She mewed once they approached the border.

I said you just don't know... "No!" hissed Rainfur, his pelt now bristling. "I told no one to leave camp!" he started pacing. "I need to go after them. Silvertail, please stay here. Don't let anyone leave." he instructed, and raced out of camp. He ran as fast as his legs could take him, and he wove through everything until he finally caught Ravenfang's scent. "Ravenfang, Crystaleye!" he yowled, bursting through a bush. His fur was matted, covered in the various things he had run through. "Dampfoot said not to leave. She can handle herself. If there was any bloodshed, we'd smell it from here. Let's go back." he mewed and turned around slowly to head back to camp. ...how hard it is to not be by your side, every night.

Crysyaleye glared at Rainfur. "What if they got into trouble and they're too far away for us to smell blood? What if the wind's in the opposite direction, driving the blood scent away from us? You have to admit they're taking a looong time too simply go over to ThunderClan."
