"Alright, I'm cool with running. Come on guys let's go!" Dritt shouted at the others.

(Sorry for being gone so long) Dax rolled his eyes.
"Fine" He said. But he still didn't trust the pair of digimon, he followed Dritt.

[[Dan and Dracomon climbed out of The Great Canyon and into The File Mountains (South)]]
The place had an amazing view and the crisp biting air was refreshingly clear. It was so different from the dark claustrophobic chasm they had had to crawl out of. What hadn't changed was the sweat gathering up in Dan's shirt. He was ripe at best.
Dracomon sniffed the air and cast a glare back at Dan as he walked, Dan reciprocated without a second thought. It wasn't his fault he was a human and he hadn't just been staring up the south end of a dragon for the last few hours. The glare ended nearly as soon as it had began which was good because a lightning rod would conduct that sort of tension.
"Stick close, human," Dracomon called to Dan while beginning to sprint down one side of a mountain and up to the other, using his wings for balance against the air. Dan tipped an eyebrow at this poorly placed attempt at dominance. He merely whispered back:
"Needless to say." With that, Dan followed along, breathing steady and arms pumping close beside his ribs. He caught up first and then simply stayed on key although the beginning did drain him some and he wouldn't have the benefit of wings should he trip. The whole thing was exhallerating for them both, no doubt about that.
They reached the crest of the mountain after the next and near enough collapsed: Dan, skidding to a halt before he died of exhaustion and falling back onto his right arm, Dracomon, expanding his wings and skidding on his heels before lifting into the air and dropping onto his back-side. Both of them were panting like dogs, wretching occasionally but still trying to struggle to their feet before the other, dripping blood from the pebble-opened wounds: Dan, his arm, Dracomon, the backs of his legs. Both of them grinned like idiots until Dan lost the yesterday's breakfast, to which Dracomon stood up in response to, like a mocking ovation and coughed what was supposed to be a laugh before dropping back onto his tail in exhaustion to which Dan responded to with a weak chuckle and a spit of sick as he clambered onto all fours and onto his knees.
"Who wins?" Dan asked, rubbing his pounding forehead with the palm of his left hand, his right hurting too much to place on anything.
"Draw?"
"Draw." Dan extended his left hand and then lost balance, falling on his chest. "Dammit," he growled, almost in parody of Dracomon.
"Maybe we should rest here a while?" Dracomon suggested optimistically while raising his head off the ground a little.
"Right out of my mouth." They bothe laughed and Dan rolled off his front with a wince before he untied his jacket which he threw to Dracomon and he pulled the fur onto himself.

Dan and Dracomon woke directly under a yellow moon, casting an ominous glow onto the fog and clouds that had descended over the mountain range. The view brought a shiver to Dan's spine as he sat up but Dracomon seemed to enjoy the look of it. He stood up and held his claws up beside his eyes, parralel to each other like an extremely crappy imitation of binoculars.
"This is perfect for travelling," he said, a dramatic wow nestled in his every vowel. Dan flipped up with his hands, which wasn't too bad on the grazes and cuts of his numbed right arm though it was a bit sharp at the shoulder.
"Are you taking crazy pills, or are you just blind?!" Dan snapped, in his best just awoken yell, which wasn't much good. Dracomon looked back at him as if he'd barely heard what he said, wondering whether he had heard anything or whether it was in his head: raised eyebrows and pupils narrowed, in scepticism and worry. He probably did only just hear it, but it was still more the fault of Dracomon's distance from his body over Dan's terrible volume. It took a second for Dracomon to actually piece together his fragmented memory of what Dan had said.
"Cool air, no wind and light with illuminated fog. Visibility just right for us to avoid attracting attention and just high enough to find our way to the digi-forest. If we set off now, we could be in the forest by sunrise. Just stick close." This was all said slightly to matter of fact for Dan's liking and he started stepping back to the warmer patch he'd been sleeping on, to which Dracomon fought back with the perfect argument:
"Get your jacket on and hurry up, or you could wrap up for the night by yourself, wake up in the same way, get lost and wander the mountains for weeks, promptly starving to death..." Dan stared at Dracomon with a firghtened, blank expression painted on his whitened face. "Sound good?" Dracomon payed Dan no further attention, not even looking his way as he spoke and once done he walked down the side of the mountain while throwing Dan his jacket back, from on top of his left foot. Dan pulled his jacket on and set off quickly, deciding his life was worth more than a few extra hours of sleep. He was in a brisk jog until he followed Dracomon over the crest of the mountain.
"You knew I was going to follow," Dan sighed tiresomely, as he caught up. Dracomon half turned his head and shrugged.
"No... I didn't." Dan stopped for a second, the stunned look returned to his face but it passed. It had to pass before Dracomon got too far into the fog.

Dan and Dracomon marched through the mountains for a day and a night non-stop, with only rain water to parch their thirst and fill their stomachs. The said nota word as their dry mouths did not permit it. Any attempt at speach was met with a hoarse and painful cough.
Dan only attempted to talk when Dracomon insisted upon a bizarre practice of sniffing the air, when they rose above the cloud cover and he scratched at the rock beneath their feet, most commonly when they reached the two crested a mountain. Dan couldn't be sure if either one of them had gone out of their minds with exhaustion but it seemed like Dracomon ate something in the ground. He was too pre-occupied with forcing himself to breathe to keep count but he did once think he saw a blue stone, sort of like a sapphire or a diamond just behind Dracomon's teeth. Dracomon barely seemed himself when he was digging for the rocks, like it was automatic. He payed nt attention to Daniel's coughing in these minute long breaks, not even to enjoy the sun that rarely broke through.
Once the two had reached the end of their rope, mentally and physically, they saw it; the vast, lush expanse of the Digi-Jungle. The sight brought a tear to Dan's eye, especially knowing he would have to stay on this mountain, winding his way down...
"You won't even survive to see the water that that forest lives off. It's too far to meander down in your state. Do or die." Dan furrowed his brow and jumped off the side of the discernable path, finally catching Dracomon's attention. Dracomon's eyes widened to show all the whites and he ran to the edge to see Dan skidding down the descent on his feet and to repeat it at each intersection of the path. Dan's movements across the path were sluggish and desperate and Dracomon didn't feel so good himself. Dracomon jumped after him, running full speed down the mountain face, after him.
When Dracomon finally caught up, Dan was staring the Digi-jungle's plant wall in the face. Dan and Dracomon could both see the glistening running water behind the trees, just barely and the leaves had small amounts of water pooled on them. The two broke through the barrier and grabbed a large leaf each, slurping the water off of them and sliding down against the trees they had taken them from, breathing heavily.
[[Dan and Dracomon have reached the bottom of File Mountains (South), bursting through the canopy of the Digi-jungle.]]

(Enter Draco and Mio)

Draco grinned as File Mountain appeared before him, looking out over the range of the mountains before him he broke out into a grin. This was living, castle life didn't thrill him as much as the majesty of nature. He turned his attention back to the sleeping boy, well not so sleeping boy any longer. The trip should wake him, at least Draco assumed so, the jolt was enough to shock him when he felt it, even when expecting it.

(Enter Seth and Jonathan)

Seth wandered through the terrain, following a narrow path swirling around the mountain. "How much longer until we get there?" The tamer lazily panted as he got further and further from the ground.
"You do realize you've barely gone up two, maybe three steps from the bottom..." The Crabmon pointed out. Jonathan, the complete opposite of his tamer, but that didn't stop them from being the best of friends. "Anyway, where we're going is special, very few people know about it."
"And that would be..." Seth followed Jonathan as the digimon scurried ahead of him.
"A secret derrrrrr." Jonathan teased his pathetic excuse for a tamer, but smiled anyway. "Besides, it'd surprise you better if you went and saw it for yourself."
"Alright..." He didn't trust his digimon all so much because most of the time Jonathan thought with his stomach and his stomach is always thinking about CAKE!. "O well...This better not be a hidden cake factory."
Jonathan stopped on the narrow path, slowly turning back to his tamer, flames erupting in his eyes. "WHAT DO YOU TAKE ME FOR?!" The Crabmon shouted with all his might, thrusting himself up into the air and tackling his tamer back onto the ground level. "Either way, even if it was a cake factory I wouldn't take you there."
"Good point." Seth goofly muttered, his back on the ground. Shaking off his short paralysis, he ran after Jonathan who had abandoned behind. "I wonder if we'll meet anyone there..."

"How much longer now?" Seth panted, crawling on the narrow passage way to the top of the mountain. "Where are we going?"
"Quit complaining..." Jonathan muttered as he continued ahead, disappearing around the curve. "O yeah, you may want to stand up because crawling takes up more space then walking." His voice echoed above all the smaller mountain tops.
Seth stopped and looked towards the sun; the sun was truly beautiful from the point he stood in. It was spread it's golden arms across the rest of the land as colors, all sorts of colors glowed in it's grace. "Do you think it can see us?"
"What?" Jonathan's voice emerged beside him, but when Seth turned his head, Jonathan wasn't there.
"The sun." Seth stared off into the distance. From this point, he couldn't tell whether the sun was setting or it was still up high in the air. "Do you think the sun can see us?"
"Probably not." Jonathan started to explain. "The sun is like a million miles away and no matter how hard you try, you can never reach it. Apollomon is the only digimon that exist that can reach the sun and touch it's power."
"I see..." Seth didn't understand it at all."
"You don't understand what I just said did you?" Jonathan muttered.
"Not a clue, hey where are you anyway?" Seth looked around confusedly. He hears Crabmon's voice nearby but he can't see him.
"Hold on a second, hold onto something. Whatever you do, do not let go. Understand?" Seth nodded in silence, but Jonathan couldn't hear it. "Do you understand?!" His voice grew louder.
"Yes, I do!" Seth laughed a bit.
"Alright hold on tight." Jonathan was silent for a few moments. "CRAB MEAT BOMBER!" The rocky mountain side besides him exploded into bits as a tunnel appeared in it's place.
"This is what your hiding?" Seth laughed. "It's pretty sad to see just a tunnel on a side of a mountain so high up."
"Just shut up." Jonathan led the way as the two traveled deeper and deeper into the tunnel.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 28, 2010 5:00 pm

"We're here~" Jonathan guided, his physical appearance was swallowed by the darkness, Seth's only guide was the sound of his voice, that was echoing aimlessly through the tunnel.
"This is really difficult..." Seth gasped as he tripped over what felt like a branch. "What the heck?"
"O yeah, be careful, there's a tree branch." Jonathan snickered.
"Thanks for the warning..." Seth picked himself up and placed his hands onto the cold wall. "What is this? And I thought you said we were here."
"We are..." Jonathan's voice faded as the sound of something landing came below. "Watch your step and prepare for impact!"
"What...AHHHHH!" Seth took a step forward and fell downward onto hot glowing sand. Sand that was glowing a strange eerie green, but something about the glow felt warm and comforting. "What is this place?"
"The secret...dahhhh." Jonathan made a strange noise as he continued forward. "O yeah, make sure not to step on anything while your here alright?"
"Not step on anything how is that possible...o...." Seth's mouth dropped open as they came to one of the most beautifulest sight mankind has ever seen. A small patch of grass, a elegant fountain that sat in the middle of it all. Flowers randomly planted along the edges of the small cavern, and there was a small opening above the fountain. "What is this?" Seth felt the cold wall, it was smooth, yet sharp.
"It's ice." The Crabmon explained. "This is a hidden cavern that was born in." Jonathan smiled at his tamer. "That was until you came into this world, and I vanished from here all the way to where you were. I was more confused then you were that day."
"Well that explains...so little." Seth made pinched his pointer and thumb together to indicate a small amount. "So why am I here?"
"Just wait for it..." Jonathan pointed up towards the opening. "When the sun is just right and the ray of light enters the cavern..."
Suddenly, rays of light exploded into the cavern and straight into the fountain. The water started to rumble as the cavern itself started to shake.
"What's happening?!"
"Just wait for it!"
Then it all stopped. All the rumbling and shaking had come to a stop, and the tamer and the digimon stood in complete silence. Slowly, a small amount of light entered through the opening. "After a tremendous amount of light enters, a small ray comes in and finishes the job." Jonathan explained. From the fountain, more rays of lights came from it's sides striking the ice. The ice absorbed all the lights and began to give off a soft glow. "And this is when the data gathers..." The Crabmon walked closer towards the fountain and signaled Seth to come closer. As Seth approached, his digivice started to vibrate.
"Huh?" The digivice set off an alarm that caused Seth to throw it into the fountain by accident. "Frick..." Seth ran after it, but it was too late.
The fountain started to glow in a light blue, and the light that entered the ice reflect back into the fountain. Seth only stood in amazement as he watched the event unfold. Data was streaming out of the fountain's spouts and a puppy-like figure started to form over the fountain. In seconds, the data ceased and the new digimon yawned and fall into the water.
"ARE YOU OKAY?" Seth shouted, jumping into the fountain and grabbing a hold of the digimon.
"She'll be fine." Jonathan laughed, digging his claw into the fountain and pulling out the digivice. "She'll wake up and be new again."
"What do you mean?" Seth asked confusedly.
"I mean, that Salamon is special because it came from your heart. Your heart spoke through data and the digital world answered. Or that is what the legend states."
"Legend?"
"Yes, the ancient legend of the ancient warriors and the godly digimons." Jonathan laughed. "I brought you here because well...I started to become lonely all by myself."
"Aw...so you wanted a little sister?" Seth laughed. Jonathan just blushed.
"O, just shut up, now come on, we gotta leave before they come back."
"Who they?"
"Ha, you don't want to know." There was a loud roar coming from somewhere in the distance. "That they..."
"Alright let's go!" Seth chucked nervously.

After several minutes of escaping from the hidden cavern, Salamon awoke from her slumber.

"Hello." The digimon barked. "My name is Katie!" She smiled as she licked Seth's face. "What's your name?"
"I'm Seth and that's Jonathan." The tamer simply replied. Petting his new digimon on the head. "So wait...does that mean your from some other tamer's heart?" Seth turned towards Jonathan and asked.
"Nah, I'm stuck with you no matter what." Jonathan laughed a bit. "But yeah, I don't completely understand it, but I came from you before you came to the digital world. When I came, there wasn't any tamer there and I had to hide in the sand when the guardians came back. So yeah..."

(( Seth, Katie, and Jonathan leave File Mountains and enter Tropical Jungle. ))

Vixi yawned, a rather horrifying sight in her Kyuubimon form. The digimon had agreed to take Sharah to File mountains. Somewhere new tamers wouldn't usually venture to unless they had a death wish; but hey, the girl had managed to make quite an impact on quite a few digimon as of late. The girl say calmly on her back, smiling when her amber eyes met Vixi's own blue ones. "Almost there Vixi?" She asked, looking from the face of her first digimon to the incline of the mountain.

"Yep! Not ev'n a' hour before we get there~" The gruff voice was also feminine, charming in it's slight twang. Sharah nodded, shoulder length white hair moving slightly with the action. Touei traveled closely near them, Garurumon standing watch a bit away from the two in case danger came from behind. And of course, Pan stayed curled around the girl's neck, right now he was asleep and would probably stay that way unless something came up.

Suddenly the fox digimon slowed, growling slightly as they came across scents and auras she didn't recognize. "Easy, let's see who it is before you get snippy." The girl said, holding onto her digimon's red and white scarf. She sat up slightly, head tilting at the dozing boy and his digimon. Hopefully they would be a friendly couple of tamers. If now... well, she would be just fine. If Vixi and Touei couldn't handle them Kentarousmon wouldn't be far behind...

Draco had decided that letting Mio sleep was probably for the best, children needed their rest. He smiled as he set to building a fire, calling upon Neuro, a guilmon, to assist him. That sloth needed to exercise. They soon had a fire going, even if Draco did most of the world.

Draco smiled as he sat down on the ground, enjoy nature as Neuro lay down next to the fire, Draco wasn't sure if he was sleeping or just 'meditating.' It didn't matter. It was nice to be back out in the wild again, he had spent far to long indoors.

Draco looked up, he heard something. Sounded like a bug... a big bug. "Damn..." He cursed, Neuro couldn't be woken easily, or quickly enough. That left Draco to protect the group. Draco quickly stood up, his black metal right arm ready for action.

The girl hopped off of her digimon, holding a finger to her mouth to quiet Kyuubimon. It had been a while since she had run into another tamer. Maybe, this one would be interesting. He had something on his arm from what she could see, but the flickering fire wasn't much of a light source. "No trouble, I swear it." The short elven girl said, stepping a bit closer hands up to show that she had no weapons on her. Behind her Vixi took another step, but she ignored that; hoping that she would stay back until she introduced herself to this stranger.

This, this world? Was nothing like she had seen before. But she seemed to almost belong here, pale blue skin and yellow eyes paired with white hair and pointed ears. An elf, a stocky little elf girl. "Can I assume the same about you?" She asked, eyeing his arm warily. While he had a built in weapon, she did not. Her digimon were her only defense in the digital world. But that was normal, right? "I... noticed you a bit earlier. Would you two like a lift a bit later on?" Between Vixi and Touei, they would be able to take them anywhere; even if their destinations were different. Although Sharah, was simply traveling to travel just yet.
PostPosted: Fri May 14, 2010 2:48 pm

Draco looked over the girl quickly, she didn't seem like much. He could most likely take her if there was a problem. He grinned as he placed his hands behind his head. He was a fair bit talker then her. His hair was purple, and spiky, looking more like an anime character then a person. "No trouble? That is good. I am not looking for it, at least from this century." Draco answered. "But where are my manners. I am Draco, pleased to meet you." Draco extended his hand to her.

Draco hadn't met anyone new in a long time, it seemed that those he did either helped him, or removed a part of his body. He hoped she wasn't that latter, but again she didn't seem like the type. "Ah. I don't need a lift. There is exactly where I want to be. Out in the mountains. Where else will I find a mine?"

Sharah nodded, shaking his hand, although was a bit tentative with the action. He was quite a bit taller than she was now that she was within arm's reach. "Great, neither am I." She said, laughing a bit. "I'm Sharah." She gave her name easily, a bit naive in the sense that she hadn't run into anyone particularly bad in the digital world just yet.

"A mine?" And there it was, that sparkle of interest in her eyes. Now, she hadn't heard of mines here in file mountain. She honestly, hadn't heard of much here in the digital world. The girl was lacking in any sources but the digimon that she called her own. "Well that's something I haven't heard of." The girl mused, looking up at the taller boy. "What exactly are you looking for in this mine of yours? Now a conquest for jewels and riches wasn't something that the elven girl was gonna miss out on. Yet all the same, she couldn't see riches existing here that wasn't somehow wacky or different than things back in the real world.
