Raine had placed Pi back in his pocket and he was jumping over the roof tops. His body still ached all over but he felt accomplished. His gut was still low after his Come to Jesus with Dash. the small boy breathed in deeply a he jumped up. He still couldn't believe Dash opened up like that. Not to mention what he had said about killing. That death is indifferent? It wasn't indifferent to him. He landed in a back alley and ran out into the now bustling market place. "Where do you want to eat Pi?" He asked looking around.
Pi licked his lips, "That place with the roasted crickets." Raine stuck out his tongue.
"That's just-"
"HACAW!!!" a flurry of color splashed over him and Raine flung back with a surprised yell. Instantly he followed th thing up and realized it was some kind of Bird. looking over the Market place he noticed A whole bunch of other brightly colored birds with a man standing in the street yelling up. "My Parrots! Oh, My Parrots!"
Raine being as heroic and determined quickly ran over. "Hey, sir! I'm an Otogakure Shinobi. Can I help you!"
The man whirred around in hysteria. "Oh, thank god you came. Please, I'll give you anything in my shop, just catch my Parrots! There are five of them!" He quickly turned around, running into the store and bringing out little cages that would be just big enough for a Parrot.
Raine sighed, pushing his mohawk up. Bird catching? It sounded like work for an academy student. "Yeah. Sure thing sir." He gave the man a thumbs up and turned toward the open market place. Putting his hand on his brow and searching the skies. There was nothing. "Uh do you have any clue where they went?"

The man pointed up to one of the buildings. "Muffy, the red one went that way." Raine nodded
"Got it!" He started off in that direction quickly. He had to catch these birds before they got too far away.
Pi pulled himself out of Riane's pocket. "Raine what are you doing?" He yelled up.
"I'm on a mission." He flicked his headband. "Somebody needed help, and it's my duty." He looked up to the sky once more squinting and seeing a speck of red. With a smile he jumped onto a wooden ledge of the adjacent building. He then jumped up to the ledge of the building and kneeled looking out over the roof the bird was pecking at some trash and Raine grinned. He could do this easily. He was a full fledged ninja.
"Duty Shmooty!" Pi croaked. Raine whipped down, with his finger over his mouth.
"I've got to do this Pi." He looked over to the bird once more, "Plus, I'm buying."

Raine eased out over the roof top, pulling himself over the ledge and staying close to the ground. He had to be very still. The Parrot wasn't that far away, so it would be better just to jump on it then try and get right behind it. He propped himself up on bent knees and his fingers shook his fingers while he squinted over. "Watch and learn, Pi." He whispered, jumping forward with his hands extended.
"HA!" He thrust down at the bird. The parrot whipped around with a screech and lept up in a flurry of feathers. Raine pulled back utterly surprised and stuck his hands out to try and grab the bird. suddenly there was silence and Raine poked open his eye to watch the bird flying away.
"I"m watching...." PI said, "But I'm not learning."He snickered to himself and Raine glared down.

Raine stood up brushing off his rather trashed close. The roof was actually really dirty. He kicked the bottle that the parrot had been biting. "Those things are way faster than I thought." He sighed putting his hands up on his waist. Slowly he turned over and looked out over the village. Mt. Oto in the distance and opposite that the rice fields. He squinted as he turned around adn around. Placing his hand on his brow and stopped when he spotted any spec of color. After the specs didn't move for abnormally long periods he moved one. For minute after he minute he stood there still. "Damn, I don't know if I can find these stupid birds." He pulled his hand back and stepped over to the ledge to look down on the man who was eagerly waiting with one of the cages in hand. Watching for Raine to pop out somewhere with one of his birds.

A wave of guilt fell over him. He couldn't let these birds get away. the boy decided he wouldn't be able to find any birds by just standing here and looking he would have to head out and try and search the different building individually. Maybe moving around would help him find one as well. He jumped down to the next building, running around the roof and looking down into the alleys on either side of it. After finding nothing he moved on to the next building. Hopping up onto another wooden ledge and climbing over the roof. Raine poked his head out over the top and from what he could see there was no bird.

'Ah damn." he said, "Come here birdy, birdy, birdy." Raine pulled himself over the roof and stayed low for a moment. As he felt sure that there were no birds a top the roof he stood up all the way. Quickly he ran along and looked behind all the vents and pipes. After which he checked the ground below. There were no birds anywhere near.
"Jeeze. This is harder then I thought." he looked back over the market place squinting off to try and catch a glimpse. He spotted some crows sitting on a wire in the distance but nothing else.

"What have you gotten us into?" Pi said. "We're going to be here all day trying to catch some stupid birds." Raine sighed he could be right. Honestly the boy wasn't sure there even was a way that he could catch all those birds. Or even find them for that matter.
"Well, that guy needs help. So what can we do?" He sighed to himself.
"Quite. Respectfully." Raine rolled his eyes, that wasn't really an option. As he rolled his eyes up he caught a little red dot in his sight.
"Aha! There's one!" he pointed up over his head to a parrot that was flying over a few building down. It landed on a vent and Raine was off.

Raine hopped down to the next rood quickly, never letting his eyes leave the red bird. As he got closer he moved with a slant in his back almost crouching. He needed to be quiet to get close enough to pounce on the thing. As he came up hiding behind a much bigger vent. Raine noticed he had forgotten to take a cage with him and that he would have to quickly run back to the pet shop to hand the man the bird. He whined to himself for a bit thinking of how hard that would be before crouching forward.
He lunged forward with hands extended. The action reminded him of trying to catch the phantom thief. He felt his hands wrap around the feathers and his eyes lit up with the fire of a predator. Instantly the bird went crazy but Raine had it in his grasp. He smiled brightly. "Gotcha muffy." He got a hold on it. So that he wasn't hurting it, yet it squirmed rather fiercely and bit his fingers. Had it not been for his tightened muscles it might have actually hurt.
He easily put his legs over the edge to avoid moving the animal as much as possible. Then he walked with the thing in his grasp back to the pet shop. People staring at him all the while. As he approached the man burst into tears. And Raine's stared back a little apprehensive.
"Oh thank god! Muffy my baby." He grabbed a cage and opened it placing it over the bird who looked utter frustrated.
"Haha, glad to help. How many others did you say?" he asked. The man suddenly seemed to remember his other birds.
"Oh there are four!" He cried more, "Princess, Fefe, Pudding, and Petunia." The boy let himself giggle at their odd names.
"K, I'll see what I can do."

He was about ready to jump off to a higher view when one of the parrots flew across the square. He flung his finger up at the bright green bird. The shop owner turned around, hope filling his eyes.
"Oh, that's Princess!" he cried. Raine stepped forward ready to jump, grabbing one of the cages as he ran forward. He flung himself after the bird, running through the busy streets. His eyes set on the bird as he ran, pushing people away. He followed the parrot into an alley and watched as it slowly descended onto the a garbage pail.
"You're going down, Princess."

Raine set the cage at his feet quietly, he couldn't risk trying to carry it all the way up. It would be too, heavy and too loud to set down. The Tekkenseisai expertly positioned himself at the bird's back and began to advance slowly. It had stooped to eat something in the garage that looked like a rotten banana peel. Raine inched closer his hands raising up in preparation of the kill. He was only feet behind her now. The pretty green feathers filling his vision. Raine lunged forward sweeping his arms in and grabbing the bird as he went. For a moment he wrestled with it's powerful wings but soon enough he had it subdued and was walking for the cage with the bird in his hands. He shoved it in and let it go, quickly closing the little metal gate. As soon as this was done he allowed himself an arm pump.
"Yeah, that's how you do it, Princess." He grabbed the cage triumphantly and walked quickly back to the man at the shop with a smile on his face. Once again the shop owner started crying.
He took the cage with gratitude, "Oh, Princess. You've been such a bad boy." Raine peered out from cocked eyebrows.
"Princess is a boy?" He pulled back a bit. Looking at the bird as if it was utterly ashamed or that. He hung his head.

He hung his head shaking it. Maybe if he didn't name those birds such awful names they wouldn't fly away. he thought before turning up to the grateful shop keeper
"Oh thank you so much! You've brought me back two of my priced possessions. But there are still 3 more!" Raine smiled awkwardly.
"Yeah, I'll do my best. Don't worry about it okay." Raine turned to leave.
"Oh I can't help worrying about my sweet babies." Riane waved back unsure before heading out. He jumped up to the nearest roof for a better view and peered out over the village center. He squinted for a moment before flapping wings in the distance gave themselves away.
"Ha. There's another one!" He started at a run jumping across buildings toward the next bird.

He arrived at the other end of the market place and hopped down to the street level. A yellow Parrot was swinging on a wooden shop sign and enjoying the freedom to defecate in public. Raine stuck out his tongue.
"Nasty."
"I agree." Pi added, "Birds are nasty."
"Well, we gotta get him." Raine approached. Most people hadn't noticed the bird, but stepped away from the boy with his hands in claws moving slowly across the street. He suddenly remembered that he hadn't brought a cage with him. He shrugged. I'll just carry him like Muffy." He punced up and forward snatching the bird before it could react. He fell back to the ground and help the bird until it calmed enough that he could carry it back. He walked slowly across the market place with people staring at him oddly once more. He soon came to the shop on the other side of the plaza and the shop keeper ran forward with a cage in hand. It was bigger than the others, probably meant for some other kind of animal. Raine didn't care and pushed the yellow one in.
"Oh gorgeous, Fefe!" he smiled, tears wetting his eyes.
Raine chimed in, "Fefe's not a boy right?" The man looked up surprised.
"Well, of course he is!" Raine slapped himself in the face.
"Yeah, of course."

Raine stepped aside as the man cuddled with Fefe, turning his eyes back towards the skies. He began to walk off looking for the two remaining parrots he chanced looking back to the shop keeper who had placed Fefe down and was now looking through the skies just as Raine was. He disappeared behind walking people and headed for an alley. The boy wove his way around the back streets, and past tiny shop looking in garbage nooks and searching through empty boxes and trash cans.
He stuck his hand up over his eyes as he looked up into the sun. There was nothing. He wondered how far birds could get in the amount of time he had been searching.

He quickly jumped on top of a won ton stand and climbed over a near by roof. He pulled his gaze all the way around and stared deeply at anything that looked like a parrot, which consistent of plastic bags waving in the wind. He sighed, "I really hope they didn't get too far away. I'll never find them.' He hopped up onto the next building roof and placed his hand over his eyes once more. The sun was growing higher in the sky and the sky was a brilliant blue. Raine moved around, checking the roof slowly. He checked behind the vents and pipes. As he searched through, he heard a small caw from the next roof. instantly he hit the deck and looked out from behind the vent he was hiding on. There was another Parrot, this time blue who was examining itself in a broken mirror.

Raine eased back behind the vent making a plan. He couldn't come up behind the bird because it was looking in a mirror and would see him. He sighed, "Hmm... Gotta go about this one differently."
Pi stuck his head out, "Why, if you're quick enough it won't have time to react even if it does see you." Raine shook his head,
"No, you see it's propped up. And there is no way I could get close enough to grab it quickly with that little mirror." he nodded to himself, "I've got it though. I'll come front he top."
"Well don't kill it." Pi yelled up, even if he didn't like birds. Jumping on it sounded like a bad idea.
The boy didn't answer he was on the hunt now. He crawled back. Moving around to another vent and hiding behind it before hopping up to the next building out of the sight of the bird. He hid behind the ledge as he slid to the side until he heard the bird below chatting to itself. He glared off with concentration than flew his arm over and propped himself as he jumped into the sky. The His shadow covering the bird who looked up with dread. His hands were around and his torso covering it as he kneeled on the ground. "Ha, Gotcha!"
