He was still, should I say, mildy confused by the word cult. But he doesn't like what he was feeling now. Something tells him something is wrong. For example... The Jedi Temple... "What cult?" His mind wondered rudely around.

Bob blinks, and replied immediately, " um....you know, you? how can you be in a cult and not know it, unless your just now applying for membership.....is it a prerequisit to get others to join before you can or something? huh....."

Bob scratched his head for a few moments, " but I thought everyone in the brown robes was a cult member.....unless your only a cult in the eyes of everyone else, and to yourselves your a legitimate religion maybe? hhmmm"

((I am in Silvered Robe ~.~)) "You mean the Jedi don't you? The Jedi are not cult members. They are just a group with a belief. A school for those who held strength similar of yours. To tame such which are dangerous and lethal if not taught properly on how to control thee..." He replied, in hope to clear some misunderstanding.

Bob nods for a bit, " yea, but you just described a cult....you teach a form of belief, you dont get government funding, and you actively recruit others into your retinue. now, if you did get government funding you could be classified as an official religion, due to the fact that you propegate a religious belief and or belief system....giving it a fancy name like jeedai is no different from the naming of any other cult or religion."

He leaned back to the couch he is sitting on.
"But I did still say it is a school. Since its belief is using their powers to defend the weak. It is what other schools will teach their students too. It teaches them life-long skills, how to use it, and how to help others with it. And you call them cultist?"

Bob nods, " well, yea....a cult isn't a bad thing, it is simply portrayed as such by media and government funded religions who don't want competition. however, this is all off topic, and we could continue this for a few hours more likely than not. let us get straight to the point, why are you here?" well then, I now know that they are part of this 'jedi' cult thing, but what do they want with me....hopefully a direct question won't be deflected and misconstrued into something else...

You can more or less call me a Force-User too. But I am no Jedi... More descriptive on me would be a cultist." He smiled. That the covenants are not funded by the Government, if that is what Bob sees thing as. "But you know your linkage with us Force-Users. You know eventually we will find you if you doesn't find us. Force groups... The Jedi, the Sith, the Unbounded Force Users, or other factors too small to name like myself... They each carries a different beliefs. Call them cults you may, but now, you do not pray to some statue, do sacrifices and offer incense. We offer you a pathway to what you might be able to behold. All for a simple something in return..."

Bob nods, and motions for Him to continue, " and what is this thing I have to give? years of my life? a vow of fealty? perhaps my life?" Bob shook his head, " teaching is not about giving knowledge in return for something, but doing it because it is the right thing to do. to spread knowledge and wisdom begets good will, especially if done so free of charge. I call your order a cult because it more than likely charges for such 'services' as teaching. " After saying this, Bob sighs.

Silverion looked at Tathar dangerously for a moment. Than gave a smile back to her. But somehow it was eerily weird... "The Covenants are for the patience." He turned back to Bob. "The something in return in each factors are, like different schools, ask for in attempt to strive for higher grounds. Say whatever you prefer, which cult and which whatever so... What each factors seek upon from you, is your freedom. And finally your determinations.
I don't think schools are cult because they do ask things in return... Aside from school fees, they ask for your homeworks, your cooperations, and hopefully your avoidance to anything that might taint or smear their school names.
Take the Sith for example. Perhaps the nearest description to the cultist. Sith asked for anger and fear in other to transmit the force to greater heights, some schools asked for conquering of fear and anger. Does that make Sith are cult? Or just an opposite of a normal school, with different method of bringing their students to greater heights.
Say what you believe on how you want it to be Schools or Cults. Because they all do falls into perspective.
And today I am here to ask upon your perspective... That which... I ask that will suit you best?
Which cult?" He gave the emphasis on the last word...

Bob smiled and responded without a moments hesitation, " mine. that is to say....I have no knowledge of these other ones and thier practices, let alone yours, to decide now would be folly. when I choose one it will thereafter be considered 'mine' to me, and as such this answer lets me take my time in picking and choosing. if you want me to be in your 'cult' then I may or may not join, it all depends on the practices and teachings in each of them. should I find one that does not suit my pacifist nature, I will learn what I can from my experiences and formulate my own. All conflicts can be resolved with words, you just have to know the right ones, and the right way of speaking them. and now, sir, I believe the ball is back in your court."

He gave smile. Of course he won't ask this man to join his factor. After all, only those that had seen nothing in the be fore mentioned, the Jedi, Sith, and the UFUs, are turned away, would he then actually suggest the covenant...

Silverion put out one hand, and immediately a tool, the screwdriver to be exact, flew as if magically to his hand. "The force is a tool to create and to destroy. His gaze wandering and settling on the female next to the man, Nethilia...
