I've noticed that many people here are saying they are bi, while a comparatively small percentage are gay/curious. Why?

I don't know that many bi people IRL... most of my GLBT friends are gay.

I'm bi because I like the options, but not because I get more... I'd be just as happy being straight or gay. I lean toward straight anyway... but it doesn't stop me from staring at breasts sometimes (or other things).
