What's the major appeal of Earthbound? I got kind of far into it, but had to give it back to my friend, but I just never saw the amazing appeal.

Meta_Fish What's the major appeal of Earthbound? I got kind of far into it, but had to give it back to my friend, but I just never saw the amazing appeal. I never have as well, I just borrowed it and I am playing it, it is fun, the Music is very catchy and the script is pretty funny at times, But as an RPG it dont stand close to other Nintendo fortes like Paper Mario, Mario RPG and Superstar saga, probobly because of the battle system, but I am pretty early into Earthbound at this point so I cant say anything for sure

Ugh, i know. I'm using it right now. It's so slow that it wont let me finish an insane puzzle in jigsaw.

I always thought it was that it was just a weird game, the premise, the weapons, etc.. @IL: That's more a processor problem than an OS problem. But I feel your pain.
