Can't describe how mad those two links make me.
I will continue to support every man, woman, mother, father and friend that is in the military, but ******** like that are absolutely ******** unacceptable.
The vision of the men in the chopper was at fault, but the silhouette of a weapon is easier to determine than that of a child hunched behind the door of a van.
Defending them was hard to work out. For every "bad" soldier we have good ones, people who try to do what is best.

sadly, firepower increases every passing year while the missions get ever more confusing with opposition not wearing uniforms and using local poulation as human shields... is that man an insurgent with rpg or plumber with a piece of pipe heading to work? is that woman with a large bag carrying food for her family or explosive device ready to explode?
remeber, enemy does much worse entirely on purpose.

That is no excuse Evok, not even nearly.
I could tell on a ******** Youtube video, lower quality than what those pilots saw, and I could tell it wasn't a RPG or an AK-47, they must have had thermal on that cannon, or the main pilot will have. They wanted to kill, can't you tell? They couldn't care less about who it was, they are sick, twisted bastards.
And the 2nd Video, what the Platoon Commanders say, people who the soldiers are supposed to look up to! Hah! I can't believe it. It's truly appalling.
Yeah Paul, I'm not saying all soldiers are murdering bastards, but it just shows you what some of them are like, and what they are getting away with.

So, after five nights of Dirty Harry (the movies you dirty gits!) I've come to a few conclusions: 1. The first act always has Harry eat somewhere only to stumble upon a crime. The first movie had a bank robbery while getting a hotdog, the second a plane hijacking while again getting a hotdog, third has a fake heart attack in a restaurant followed by a robbery, fourth movie has his coffee place being robbed and the fifth movie sees him at a Chinese restaurant reading a fortune cookie. 2. The sidekick almost always dies. 3. Whenever he fires his gun he assumes a really odd pose:  4. Harry is a monster, tho nowhere near as bad as the guys he is facing. Fun movies tho, a bit stretching it with those last two. First movie was best prolly, with the torture of the perp on a football field.

And Evok's reasoning does apply. Fighting an insurgency means that there is the potential that everyone on the street has a weapon or a bomb. Mayhaps the Prime Minister should contact me as well (at what Kyle said).
