"Why not?" Billy asks. "They'll prolly even let me do it for you." He holds out his hand.

"If I'm going to be getting pierced, I think I'd rather let a professional do it, thanks." He uses the hand to help him stand up though.

Billy actually gets offended at this one. "Do you honestly think I haven't done piercings before?" he demands. "I've only worked there for three years. I've been doing piercings for two of the three." he points out. "I did all of Rave's, and I mean all of them. I am a professional, thanks." His eyes blaze with fire. His profession is something he actually takes seriously and to have someone he actually cares for treat him like he's some amateur... well that just makes him angry.

"I'm definitely not going to want you coming near me with a needle if you're angry," Normally, offending Billy would illicit much more compassion from the younger twin, but not this time, since he feels like he's been practically railroaded into getting the piercing in the firstplace. Just another example of how the relationship between the twins has been a little strained recently.

"I wouldn't be angry if you had a little faith in me sometimes." Billy replies. "You know, I might not care about school but I care about this."

"And I only really see you here or at school, so I'm not entirely used to the idea of you being serious about anything." Cor starts to leave the room, "If I have to do this, then let's just get it over with."

"Cor, I'm not making you do this." He says, still feeling incredibly hurt by his brother's actions. "I can get you something else, if you don't want it. It's not a big deal."

"It's fine. I said I'd do it, didn't I? Let's go before it gets late." Corri feels bitchy at the moment, apparently.

Billy rolls his eyes but says nothing. Maybe, just maybe if Corri actually sees him at work for once, he'll realize that Billy really isn't the throw away-worthless kid everyone thinks he is.

As they're walking to the shop, Corri calms down a bit, and starts to feel really guilty about how he'd been acting. He grabs Billy's arm and stops walking, "I'm sorry."

Billy stops too, and looks at him, rather annoyed. "About what?" he sighs.

"About getting so upset over something stupid... and for offending you. I don't really know much about what you do when you're at work. I never really asked, I just kind of... assumed things, and I'm sorry about that too."

Billy shrugs. "It hurts, you know. You and mum and dad... none of you think that I'm doing anything good with my life. You all think I'm just this irresposible kid that doesn't know what he's doing. So what? I got suspended, they don't care." he sighs, trying to let it all out in a way that won't make Corri feel more guilty. "And dude, I go to every play you're in and you never once came to my work, not even for my first tattoo, not even when I inked for the first time..."

If he didn't want to make Corri feel more guilty, that was definitely not the way to go about it, "But I... I mean, I always invited you to my plays, you never... you never asked me to come to your work. I thought you didn't want me there, or something, because usually you drag me everywhere."

"I didn't think I had to ask." Billy admits, "and i would have gone to your plays whether you wanted me there or not."
